Chapter 564 Roast Hare

Seeing Mo Shouchen being knocked to the ground by the werewolf, Tang Yanzhen immediately transformed into a dog and knocked the werewolf away with force.

Although the size difference between the two sides was more than double, Tang Yanzhen showed no sign of weakness and bared his teeth at the werewolf, roaring angrily from his throat.

The werewolf's huge body was knocked back two steps, but after stabilizing its body, it did not fight back immediately. Instead, it sniffed in Tang Yanzhen's direction with its nose, and a strange light flashed in its eyes.

"Ouch!"

A bad wolf roared at Tang Yanzhen, then opened its mouth and pounced on it, but as soon as it jumped up, it was knocked away with a backhand punch by the werewolf.

The evil wolf fell to the ground and rolled a few times, then got up unsteadily. It looked at the back of the werewolf in horror, and let out a low groan of grievance.

Seeing the werewolf suddenly attack his own kind, Mo Shouchen was very confused. He couldn't figure out why the werewolf would do this.

However, the werewolf's subsequent actions gave him clues.

The werewolf was seen lowering his body, making a "wow" sound in his throat, sniffing Tang Yanzhen with his nose, and gently wagging his tail twice.

Mo Shouchen remembered that he had read a report about wolves, which said that wolves would only wag their tails under two circumstances.

One is to wag its tail to express respect and submission when meeting a similar person who is stronger than itself.

Another kind is that when a male wolf shows love to a female wolf, he will occasionally wag his tail.

Compared with werewolves, the petite Tang Yanzhen is obviously not powerful, so the first possibility is ruled out directly.

In other words, the werewolf wagging its tail is showing love to Tang Yanzhen, who has transformed into a dog!

Thinking of this, the fire in Mo Shouchen's heart suddenly rose. Lying in front of him and teasing Tang Yanzhen, this was simply the greatest insult and provocation to male dignity.

He was holding the keyboard and was about to fight the werewolf, but Tang Yanzhen, who was standing in front of him, stopped him and shook his head at him.

Then, Tang Yanzhen said to the werewolf: "I don't want to conflict with you, can you let me and my friends go?"

The werewolf seemed to understand Tang Yanzhen's words. It straightened up and let out a roar, and the surrounding wolves immediately began to retreat. Before leaving, they did not forget to take away the bodies of their dead companions.

Although all the other wolves disappeared into the darkness of the woods, the werewolf had no intention of leaving.

It sniffed Tang Yanzhen again, purred twice, and then nestled directly at the door of the tree hole. It seemed that it planned to spend the night here.

Mo Shouchen saw the werewolf close his eyes, and a hint of ferocity flashed in his eyes, but just when he was about to go up for a sneak attack, Tang Yanzhen held him back again.

"Calm down, don't do anything if you can. It won't do us any good to start fighting again." Tang Yanzhen advised in a low voice.

Mo Shouchen was holding back his anger, but he knew that now was not the time to act impulsively. He sighed deeply and then raised his middle finger at the werewolf.

Tang Yanzhen, who had returned to his normal appearance, smiled, then turned back to where he had rested, and Mo Shouchen followed him.

But just as he was about to sit next to Tang Yanzhen, the werewolf lying at the entrance of the tree hole suddenly opened his eyes.

It raised its head and bared its teeth at Mo Shouchen, and let out a low growl full of threats in its throat. It seemed that as long as Mo Shouchen dared to sit next to Tang Yanzhen, it would rush in and tear him apart without hesitation.

Mo Shouchen clenched his hands into fists, his joints clenching loudly, the muscles on his face were twitching slightly, and veins popped out on his forehead.

He stared at the werewolf with great anger, and then yelled very hard: "If you don't want to sit down, you won't sit down!"

After saying that, he stood up and sat next to the lion, and then leaned against the lion angrily.

The lion was so frightened by him that he didn't dare to move, and could only maintain a posture that looked uncomfortable.

Early the next morning, several evil wolves picked up three hares and placed them in front of the werewolf. The wounds of the hares were still bleeding, and it looked like they had just been bitten to death.

The werewolf did not eat the hare. Instead, he pushed the hare into the tree hole with his front paws and whined at Tang Yanzhen twice.

Mo Shouchen was not polite and walked over to pick up the hare. The werewolf immediately stood up and roared threateningly at him.

"Why are you yelling? If it's not cooked properly, you'll have diarrhea after eating it!"

As he spoke, Mo Shouchen took out a knife from his bag, then skinned the rabbit and dug out its internal organs. Finally, he lit a bonfire outside the tree hole, set up the rabbit with branches and roasted it.

Soon, the woods were filled with the mouth-watering aroma of barbecue.

Because they didn't eat last night and fought with the wolf for half the night, Tang Yanzhen and Ye Nianwen were so hungry that their chests pressed against their backs.

After the rabbit was roasted, Mo Shouchen pulled off a rabbit leg and placed it on a leaf and handed it to Tang Yanzhen, but the werewolf roared at him again.

He glanced at the werewolf, then pulled off his other leg and placed it on the leaves, but the werewolf still roared at him.

It wasn't until he placed the whole rabbit on the leaves that the werewolf calmed down.

Mo Shouchen placed a whole rabbit in front of Tang Yanzhen, and then picked up another roasted rabbit.

But as soon as he picked it up, the werewolf curled his fingers at him like a human, so he had no choice but to give the roasted rabbit over.

The werewolf took the rabbit, looked at him with disdain, and then ate it.

In the end, Mo Shouchen, Ye Nianwen and Lion could only share the last roasted rabbit together. Fortunately, Tang Yanzhen's rabbit was not finished yet and was shared with them, so they barely managed to avoid starvation.

After eating the roast rabbit, everyone continued walking along the gravel path. The werewolf kept following behind, and even ran up to Tang Yanzhen and wagged its tail when nothing happened, which made Mo Shouchen very annoyed.

In the afternoon, the outline of a city appeared in front of us, and the Emerald City finally arrived.

The scale of the Emerald City looks even more majestic than the previous city where Snow White was. The brick walls look very thick, and the city gates and walls are heavily guarded, demonstrating its inviolable majesty.

The werewolf stopped at the edge of the woods. Seeing that it seemed a little afraid of the Emerald City, Tang Yanzhen turned to it and said, "Just send it here. Thank you for escorting us here."

The werewolf bent down and put his nose towards Tang Yanzhen, letting out a reluctant growl from his throat.

Tang Yanzhen hesitated for a moment, and finally reached out and touched the werewolf's nose.

After saying goodbye to the werewolf, everyone walked towards the gate of Emerald City.

Halfway through, Mo Shouchen looked back and found that the werewolf was still standing at the edge of the woods, looking over here.

He snorted coldly and said, "We are leaving here soon anyway, so just stand there and wait stupidly!"
