Chapter 6 Cadres Take the Lead

Dianzhuang is not the name of a certain village, but an action.

It is a large-scale immigration action in rural western China that has been moving towards the desert, Gobi, and to all the vast lands, sparsely populated but contains infinitely rich futures.

In layman's terms, it means that a family goes out to work one or two laborers, open up land and plant it in other places, and build a simple and temporary home on the spot.

Such a family lives in two places, and one farm is hanging two places, so it is called "dial village".

The overall cross-regional relocation of people in poor areas is called "hanging village immigration", which means "hanging" the village directly.

Due to the harsh living environment of Yongquan Village and its surrounding villages, it is extremely difficult to continue to stay in the local area to get rid of poverty.

Therefore, the county government decided to implement the policy of immigration to the pavilion and migrate them to the plains near the Yellow River and the provincial capital Yinchuan.

Yuquanying was the immigration site of the Dianzhuang chosen for them. It was located on the eastern foot of Helan Mountain. Guhaowangqu and Tanglaiqu flowed from south to north. Yuquanying is located in the middle.

You can work and make money by working close to a state-owned farm. It is only two kilometers away from the Baolan Railway under construction. It has a flat terrain and has much greater development potential than Yongquan Village.

But now this place is still a Gobi Desert, and it takes a lot of manpower and material resources to transform it into Jiangnan.

Haiji County has set up a Dianzhuang Immigration Office to be responsible for this work. Ran Jiang came to the Dianzhuang Office with a letter of introduction and was preparing to report to Zhang Shucheng, the head of the department.

When I walked to the door, I heard a conversation coming from inside.

Zhang Shucheng reported to Deputy County Mayor Yang about a group of immigrants fleeing from Yuquanying to Yongquan Village. He was educated by the hot-tempered County Mayor Yang as a demobilized soldier and had to face the difficulties.

Ran Jiang was thinking about this conversation carefully outside. When he heard Zhang Shucheng complain to Deputy County Magistrate Yang, Deputy County Magistrate Yang was very angry and scolded Zhang Shucheng fiercely.

But seeing his clothes covered with coal ash, his tone changed. Although he was still scolding, the concern he revealed still made people feel heartwarming after hearing it.

Is this the language art of being a leader? Although Ran Jiang works in IT, he can get to the point of enjoying options in a startup company.

I have more or less contact with management, and I can still hear something.

For Deputy County Mayor Yang, immigration to Diaozhuang is now the biggest task in the county.

Since Zhang Shucheng is the head of the Immigration Office of Diaozhuang, he should try every means to do his job well. If there are any difficulties, you can just ask for support from the county.

But you complain as soon as you come up, saying that the people don’t listen to each other and what if they do not do it?

Isn't this the job you should solve? So I scolded it without hesitation.

Zhang Shucheng is a soldier and said that he is a deserter and cannot fight tough battles. This is definitely the biggest rebuke for a cadre who is a soldier.

Zhang Shucheng seemed to have realized the mistake he made, so he did not continue to refute, but turned to silence.

Judging from his good attitude and judging from his current appearance, Zhang Shucheng has suffered during this period.

Moreover, so many immigrants came from hundreds of kilometers away and settled down on the Gobi Desert. They only ran back to seven families in total.

Zhang Shucheng has stabilized most people, and his work is also effective.

So Deputy County Magistrate Yang's tone was a little calmer, and he even used helping Zhang Shucheng to tidy up his collar to express his concern, resolving the little resentment he had accumulated when he was scolded just now.

Finally, he pointed out the importance of immigration work in the Diaozhuang, so that he had to complete the work no matter what, and gave him three days.

Is this the same kindness and power? Zhang Shu was resentful, but after being scolded by Deputy County Mayor Yang, he had to continue to work harder. This method is indeed admirable.

Ran Jiang carefully pondered the order of Deputy County Mayor Yang's speech and the changes in his tone.

I didn't notice that the conversation had ended for a while, and Deputy County Mayor Yang had already come out.

Hearing the door ringing, he quickly came to his senses, stood up straight, and called out to the leader.

He handed over his letter of introduction, and Deputy County Magistrate Yang took it and looked at it, returned it to him, signaling him to go in and leave.

"Who are you looking for?" Zhang Shucheng's tone was not very good, after all, he was still being scolded just now.

"My name is Ma Defu, and I was seconded by the Agricultural Machinery Station to help!" After Ran Jiang entered, he handed the letter of introduction to Zhang Shucheng with both hands.

"After finally there is a soldier!" Zhang Shucheng looked at him twice.

The first impression is pretty good. Judging from his appearance, he is also from a poor family, so he doesn't want to run away after going to the immigration site in the Diaozhuang.

So he looked at the introduction letter and asked, "Your name is Ma Defu? Your name is good. How long have you been working?"

"I graduated from the agricultural school and just got assigned to the agricultural machinery station." Ran Jiang replied.

Zhang Shucheng was stunned. It is so important and difficult to do in the immigration of the village. You can send me a raw melon seed. How can you fight this battle?

He held back his loss and continued to ask, "Where is your home?"

"Gangou Township, Yongquan Village!"

"Yongquan Village? Are you from Yongquan Village?" Zhang Shucheng turned his worries into joy.

What he was most worried about now was how to bring back the migrants from the seven households in Yongquan Village who ran back to the Diaozhuang.

Now I send him a member of Yongquan Village. With his help, it will definitely be much easier than running over by himself.

"Let's go, follow me now, let's go to Yongquan Village." Zhang Shucheng pulled Ran Jiang out without saying a word.

I only remembered that I was driving back all the way downstairs by myself, and I had not had time to eat.

"Go to the cafeteria and I treat you as a welcome to join our Immigration Office in Dianzhuang!"

If he took Ran Jiang back to the cafeteria again, he would ask for two bowls of noodles to eat and chat.

"Have you been home recently? Do you know why the immigrants from the hanging villages in your village run back?" Zhang Shucheng asked while sucking the noodles.

"The main reason is that I am afraid of suffering, and I feel unsure!" Ran Jiang has watched the TV series and was very clear about the complaints about the villagers of Yongquan Village.

"No matter how hard you are, can you continue to stay in Yongquan Village? It's better to go to the plain than to the mountain valley?" Zhang Shucheng didn't understand.

"Although Yongquan Village is poor, there is at least a dilapidated home. When you arrive in Yuquan Camp, you can't have Sado."

"And there are sandstorms and there are many mosquitoes. The villagers have never seen this before, so they must be afraid!" Yongquan Village is in the mountainous area, and there are still relatively few sandstorms.

As for mosquitoes mostly breed in dark and humid areas, Yongquan Village is so short of water that there are not even a few mosquitoes.

Zhang Shucheng looked at the young man in front of him with a little admiration.

He originally just asked casually, but unexpectedly, Ran Jiang's answer was directly pointing to the point.

He continued to ask subconsciously, "Then, how can I get seven households and emigrate from your Yongquan Village?"
