Chapter 1923: Tell the truth, the edge of despair

Jarvis took a lot of effort to set up a suspicious array and attack the west almost exhausted tactical methods, and then he got rid of Ultron's tracking. He repeatedly confirmed this point no less than a hundred times before he was relieved to control a completely independent intelligent weapon and penetrated into this unmanned mountainous area located on the southern foot of the Himalayas.

This is what he and Strange agreed upon. He will meet Strange as soon as possible if he thinks it is safe. On the one hand, he needs to determine whether Strange has fulfilled the agreement and take care of his nominal fellow disciple for Stark's sake. On the other hand, he needs to make a specific arrangement for Frank's future.

Although he did not expect Stark's death, to some extent, this was actually an inevitable thing. Stark himself probably guessed this situation, so he entrusted his wife and children to Jarvis and Strange as if he had entrusted his funeral. In this regard, Jarvis' loyalty is naturally unquestionable, but whether Strange can do this, or whether he is worthy of Stark's trust is a matter that needs to be discussed.

Jarvis had no other choice. He could only deliver Frank to Strange as Stark's instructions. But at the same time, because he did not have absolute trust, he made an appointment with Strange for such a meeting. He needed to see if Strange could take good care of Frank and whether he was careful enough to his fellow brother. Of course, another very important reason is that he needed to tell Frank the final result of Stark.

As a son, he has the right to know his father's affairs. At the same time, as a member of the Stark family, he also has the obligation to assume the responsibilities he should bear. Jarvis believed so firmly that he parted with Ultron. It was also because of this reason that he traveled thousands of miles to this broken mountain temple.

However, what he saw and smelled was somewhat beyond his expectations. He thought he could see an ancient temple hidden in the deep mountains, not to mention the magnificent, but at least it should be simple and solemn. However, what welcomed him was the ruins of the walls. He thought he could see his young master and his unfortunate mistress, but there were only two monks waiting for him who seemed to be refuting the meaning of the scriptures.

Strange is a bright big bald head, wearing a red robe, and he is half naked with his upper body. The golden-red demon dragon wanders like a living thing. It doesn't look like a serious monk. Opposite him, Gu Yi's clone sits in a lotus position, half hanging in the air. There is no joy or sorrow on his face, and he looks peaceful and solemn in the face.

The two of them didn't take Jarvis who came in at all at all. After looking around and not finding the figure of their little master, Jarvis directly questioned Strange.

"Doctor Strange, where did you get my young master?"

"Wait a moment." Strange made a gesture of silence, and then he saluted at the Gu Yi clone in front of him. As a consultant, he must have the attitude that the consultant should have. After his respect received the response and permission of Gu Yi clone, he turned his head and asked back to the intelligent machine in front of him.

"Jarvis, that smart butler from the Stark family? You seem to have come a lot earlier."

"It's me, I found myself a body that can act in the real world." After briefly indicating his identity, Jarvis repeated the previous question again. "Where is my little master? Doctor Strange, you promised that I would take good care of them..."

"Are at ease, they are here, just hidden in a way that you can't detect. You can see this as behind an invisible door, and of course, I can guarantee that this is a very safe thing. If you don't believe it, I can call him out now."

"Please be sure to call Master Frank out. Doctor Strange, it's not that I don't believe you, but that I do have very important things to tell him right now."

"I understand, I understand." Jarvis was just fulfilling his duties, and Strange obviously did not mean to be calculating with a smart ai. He made a gesture to Jarvis and paged Frank with magic. Not long after he finished these actions, Frank's figure suddenly appeared in front of them as if he had emerged from the air.

"Is something happened?" Frank, who had just emerged from the cave, was obviously not clear about the situation. When he looked around and found Jarvis, he realized the reason why Stranger summoned him.

This made him feel a little strange because the timing of Jarvis' appearance was obviously different from the agreement. The time they agreed was three days later, and Jarvis would come with a batch of key medical supplies. At that time, with his own abilities and Strange's help, not only many problems in life could be solved, but his mother's condition could also be effectively controlled.

This is why he rejected Strange's opinion so simply, because he was ready for it. Now, Jarvis' early appearance was obviously not within the scope of the plan, and naturally, he began to worry in his heart.

As an intelligent life, Jarvis acts differently from humans. Step-by-step is his biggest characteristic, that is, unless the priority of something is above their plan, he will never do such a thing at this time. So, what can make him so out of line? He is waiting for Jarvis' answer. On this question, Jarvis did not ask him to wait too much.

"There is one thing you must know, Master Frank. According to the news I got from Huiyao City, I'm afraid Mr. Tony is already in danger."

"This is impossible!" When Frank heard this news, he was shocked and immediately questioned. "He just went to Huiyao City. He just said he wanted to solve some small troubles. How could he be like you said, "

Frank didn't know what kind of decision Stark made to save them, and he didn't even know that he had become a hostage in the hands of others. Stark asked Jarvis to pass on him the words that he would temporarily follow Strange to a safe place. At first he thought it was because the Stark family was unpopular, after all, his father had a great grudge with the owner of the city. But now it seems that this was obviously his self-righteous idea.

His father must have to transfer them because of other reasons, and what's ridiculous is that he didn't think of this level at the beginning. This made him feel both guilt and resentment. The guilt is because he was not aware of it at all. And resentment is that he didn't understand at all, why did he abandon their mother and son without even saying it?

Frank's mood has never been so complicated since he was born. Emotionally, his inner emotions have already become overflowing. Almost said that if he doesn't control himself, he will collapse in the next moment.

Of course, he could not control his emotional impulse. After all, in terms of age, he could be forgiven for crying, roaring, and even hysteria. However, although part of his emotional impulse is so strong, the mechanical part in his body firmly controls his psychological endurance bottom line, allowing him to always maintain a rational state.

This is not a good feeling, because emotional venting is the release of self-pressure by people. Without this release, it is hard to say what the hell will be suppressed.

Frank knew that this was not a long-term solution, but he could not control himself. In the current situation, maintaining rationality was the only way to make him figure out the truth as soon as possible. He didn't want to waste time by venting his emotions, because there was still a trace of fantasy in his heart.

If his father had just encountered some danger, and if there was still a chance to recover, then the struggle for time might completely change all this. He dared not waste his time, so he immediately asked Jarvis.

"What the hell happened? Tell me everything, Jarvis, I want to know the truth!"

"The truth is that we encountered the most terrifying enemy. Smith Zhou, once considered to be an existence in the same camp, but the evidence shows that he is the mastermind behind all the scenes. Hydra, hell, and all the great turmoil that shocked the world, can be seen behind him. We followed the clues and found out his true identity bit by bit, and at the moment when his identity was revealed, he took the lead in attacking us."

"The space defense station was completely destroyed, and we lost the biggest means to balance the enemy. For Mr. Tony, the worst thing is that he sent you to Huiyao City, and Smith Zhou was also in Huiyao City at that time."

Having said this, Jarvis took a look at Frank's emotions, and he continued to say it after he was sure he could still accept it.

"Smith Zhou is a terrible enemy. Not only is it so powerful that it is almost impossible to fight against, but more importantly, he has terrible wisdom and knows to use all conspiracies and means to achieve his goals. He knows your existence and uses you to threaten Mr. Tony. In order to ensure your safety, Mr. Tony has to rush to Huiyao City in person to have a meeting with him."

"It was at that time that Mr. Tony gave me an order to transfer you to Dr. Strange when he attracted Smith and Zhou's attention. Fortunately, the transfer work went smoothly, and I sent you to Dr. Strange very smoothly. But Mr. Tony, in that case, no one can guarantee his safety."

"I don't believe it." Although the truth heard made Frank's whole body tremble, he forced himself to suppress his emotions and face this special bad news with a rational attitude.

He still had a hint of luck, hoping that Stark would have the possibility of survival. So after clearly expressing his unbelievable attitude, he immediately racked his brains to find a basis for his statement.

"Didn't that Smith Zhou want to use me to threaten my father? If that's the case, he must have made some attempts toward my father. No matter what he wants, my father should be safe before he gets what he wants. And I haven't heard such news yet, is it that he might still be alive, and maybe we can have a chance to rescue him?"

"What he wants is not something in the conventional sense, Master Frank." After interrupting his delusion, Jarvis told him directly about the cruelest part of the truth. "What he wants is Master Tony's allegiance to him. You should know Mr. Tony's temper. He never admits defeat to anyone, let alone bend his knees to such a guy. That would make him feel more painful than killing him, and the greatest possibility is that he would rather die than accept such humiliation."

"So he would rather choose to die than live for me and my mother, right?"

Frank couldn't help but question, he really couldn't accept such a result. For this question, Jarvis could only say to him after a long period of silence.

"Master Frank, you must understand that for Mr. Tony, you and his wife are the most important things in his life. But his ideals are equally important. You and his wife represent the perfection of his personal existence. Without you, his life would be incomplete and meaningless. All his actions as the president of this country and Iron Man meant the maximization of his value. Without these, his existence would be lost to everyone, and his value would not be truly reflected."

"These are all very important to him, so important that they are above his life. So, when someone threatens you, when someone tramples on his ideals, he will make the same choice, that is, to put his life out of his way. He has always been like this, you should know."

"Yes, I know... I just, can't accept it. No, he must be alive, I don't believe he is dead. I haven't seen his body yet. Since there is no body, he has hope of living, and he must be alive."

The truth will only be a bigger blow, causing Frank's solid reason to be broken and fall apart. Looking at Frank, who still muttering to himself and unwilling to believe Stark's dead, hesitated for a moment, then walked up and hugged him in his arms.

He dared not say that such an enemy had ten thousand ways to keep Stark's body alive. He could only use this silent comfort to make Frank accept such cruel reality.

But reality is not so easy to accept. Frank may have realized that his father's death is an irreversible fact, but from the difficulty of accepting such facts, he will inevitably develop other emotions, such as hatred, such as venting anger. Just like now, he pushed Jarvis away and questioned him like this.

"Where is that so-called God? Isn't my father and him friends? Isn't that his territory? Why, why can he watch my father die without doing anything?"
