Chapter 4 Fate Deck

Mission location: District 1769 (unnamed)

This mission is the first batch of pioneers in the region, and no relevant introduction will be given

Mission goal: Restart the door to explore.

Mission Reward: None

Ye Kong clicked on the character attribute panel, and the text on the display changed suddenly:

Trail Blazers No. 1769-001

Name: Ye Kong

Talent characteristics: hand silence (passive). The pioneer's hands cannot keep up with the reaction speed of thinking, agility -1, perception +1

The note next to it is: The talent trait is determined by the individual characteristics of the pioneer in the original world and is unique, and this trait cannot be strengthened through conventional skill enhancement methods.

Ye Kong couldn't help but curse, but soon he continued to watch.

The basic attributes of Trail Blazers are as follows (the average attribute value of normal adult males is 5):

5 points of strength, 7 points of agility (8-1), 5 points of physical strength, 12 points of perception (11+1), 7 points of charm, 9 points of wisdom, 6 points of spirit

Detailed explanation of Ye Kong's attributes: (The attribute system is basically referenced to the final evolution of the comer. Those who are familiar with the final book can skip the introduction below)

Strength: Strength determines the power of some melee attacks and some ranged weapons. It can also enhance your own weight-bearing ability and wear some heavy and powerful protective gears/weapons. The basic damage algorithm for melee weapons is: Weapon damage* (power +10)/10, and the specific effect is affected by the battlefield environment and skill effects.

Agility: Agility determines your movement speed and attack speed, and can also determine your dodge rate. It also has a certain impact on physical long-range attack power. The basic damage algorithm of firearms and crossbow weapons is: Weapon damage* (Agility+10)/10. The basic damage algorithm of bow and arrow and throwing weapons is: Weapon damage* (Total strength and agility/2+10)/10

Physical strength: Physical strength determines your ability to fight, and can also determine your long-lasting running/combat ability, and also has a partial impact on the recovery speed and defense. Health recovery speed = physical strength/2 minutes, your current maximum health limit = physical strength x10.

In severely injured state, the recovery speed of health points will be greatly slowed down.

Basic defense = physical strength/2.

The damage reduction conversion formula is: the percentage of damage reduced = (defense x0.4)/(defense x0.4 + 10)

Perception: Perception is a general term for your hearing, intuition, vision, etc. Perception mainly gives you a certain chance to discover the dangers around you in advance and observe the environment around you faster and more carefully. The higher the perception, the higher the chance of discovering the dangers that are about to come, the earlier it is. In the real world, there are often people with high perceptions who predict dangers in advance on a whim. Perception will also affect the accuracy of all attacks. An excellent long-range fire striker will inevitably have excellent perceptions to suppress the enemy.

Note: If the enemy's perception is similar to or higher than your perception, then your predictive feeling will be weakened or even offset! If the enemy's perception is overwhelming compared to you, it can even mislead you.

Charm: Charm is a direct feedback of abilities such as appearance, temperament, eloquence, affinity, etc. Charm can mainly enable you to better communicate with the characters in the plot, have more chances to learn various magical abilities, and successfully reduce the chance of characters attacking you. In addition, some charm/summoning abilities have rigid requirements for charm. And charm has additional bonuses for such abilities.

Wisdom: Wisdom determines the upper limit of your mental power and the speed of mental power recovery. Intuitively, it determines the number of times your ability is released. Your maximum mental power = wisdom x10. The speed of mental power recovery = wisdom/4 minutes,

Spirit: Spirit has a bonus to your magic and spiritual skills, and it also determines the damage your magic weapons can cause. It directly determines the critical hit rate of your skills. It also determines your mental resistance.

Your current health limit is 50 points, and your mental power limit is 90 points. When your health limit is below 5 points, your movement ability is seriously affected, and you have a certain chance of being in a coma. When your health limit is below 0, you will die. When your mental power is below 5 points, you will experience symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and fatigue. When your mental power is 0, you will fall into a deep coma.

Your body has been digitized, and after damage to your brain/heart and other fatal areas will not cause you to die immediately. Instead, it will greatly increase the chance of critical strikes of the attack. When the accumulated damage of the enemy to certain functional parts of you, such as eyes, ears, nose, joints, etc. reaches one-third of the total health, there will be functional deficiencies such as blindness, deafness, dumbness, and disability.

The functional deficit effect cannot be restored through rest/ordinary drugs, etc. Usually, it can be returned to the residential area for treatment. It is not ruled out that the plot characters/rare drugs/contractors who have mastered certain types of advanced abilities may have the potential to treat functional deficit effect.

In addition to the text, Ye Kong could also see two obvious horizontal bars, one red and one blue, placed up and down. These two things, Ye Kong, seemed familiar, and thought it was the health point slot and the mental power slot.

In addition, there are skills bars, equipment bars and a Horcrux bars. The skill bars and equipment bars are empty, but there is something in the Horcrux bars, which is exactly the deck of playing cards that Ye Kong often fiddled with. The appearance of playing cards is much different from before. The shell has a strange herald, which looks the same as the herald of Ye Kong's mind, and has a loud name - the destiny deck.

Ye Kong thought for a while, his eyes moved away from the display screen, and his mind moved. The playing cards appeared in his hand. He looked around and found that most of the people were still staring straight ahead. Ye Kong skillfully took out the poker, turned on the board, and drew out four of them.

Soldier deck-Gogly Warriors (Plum Blossom 2)

Hold: Deals additional damage equivalent to agility for every hit of creatures with size larger than yours

Sacrifice: Summon the Goblin Warriors to attack the target, each Goblin causes 1-5 damage according to the target body size. The number of Goblins is determined by the holder's charm and related skills.

(Treasures can be found occasionally in the garbage dump)

Soldier deck-Skeleton Sword Shield Hand (Curvey 2)

Hold: Can withstand damage equivalent to strength value/2 for each physical attack (the value after the decimal point is ignored)

Sacrifice: Summon the Bone Shield. Before the shield is broken, the opponent cannot cause physical and elemental magic damage to you. The blood volume and defense level of the Bone Shield are determined by the holder's mental attributes. The minimum is not less than 10% of the holder's health limit, and the maximum is not more than 25% of the holder's health, and the duration is 1 hour.

(The sword and shield hand is the best profession that can interpret the meaning of skeleton's life)

Soldier Deck-Troll Shooter (2 Spades)

Hold: Vision +20%, (short stature cannot hold)

Sacrifice: Specify any area within the limited range to fire a covered arrow rain, which lasts for 5 seconds and causes up to three damage to targets in the area. The arrow rain damage is Agility x2, and the limited range and area size are determined by perception.

(Grow taller and see far)

Soldier deck - Battlefield Medical Soldier (Red 2)

Holding: The holder has an additional 1% of the maximum health recovery limit per minute for non-hostile creatures within 10 meters (does not conflict with the health recovery of physical strength)

Sacrifice: Restore 20% of the life of the designated target immediately

(Death never rests, so do we)

Note: Each person can only bind one card at the same time. The card owner can trade the card with any non-hostile target. The card owner can unconditionally recall the cards in the field of vision. If the card owner is forced to recall the card outside the field of vision, the card is equivalent to being sacrificed.

The card owner can change and sacrifice the card at a minimum interval of 30 seconds, and each card is sacrificed up to 1 time within 24 hours.

The card holder (non-owner) sacrifices the card, and the card will return to the owner's Horcrux, and the holder is not allowed to trade new cards within 24 hours.

Except for these four cards, the rest of the cards have the same attributes:

Hard poker: The equipment is rarity is white, throwing weapons, attack damage is 5, effective range is 25 meters, disappears after use, and generates again after 1 hour.

(You can't ask us how much harm we can do, we didn't ask you to be the god of gambling)

Ye Kong discovered when he flipped the cards just now that the hidden scoundrel of his hands had completely disappeared. I don’t know if it was the golden light that had a healing effect or the effect that was produced after stating the body. As for which 4 cards in his hand, Ye Kong quickly made a decision.

Among the 4 cards, the most powerful ones that can play the most are the Skeleton Sword and Shield Hand and the Goblin Warrior. Ye Kong's own strength is too low, only 5 points, and the Skeleton Sword and Shield Hand can only provide 2 damage, which seems very low, but considering that if Ye Kong attacks himself with hard poker, it will only have 8 damage, and offsetting 2 points is not less, at least it will be much more damage than Ye Kong's current defense with only 2.

The effect provided by the Goblin Warriors is quite amazing. Each hit can have 7 damage, which directly causes Ye Kong's hard poker to cause from 8 to 15, which is nearly doubled. Unfortunately, the target size is required to be larger than himself. Compared with Ye Kong's 1.75 meters tall, this has to be said to be a considerable limitation.

However, I don’t know what kind of attributed Horcruxes and even skill equipment others can have. Considering that they can adapt to most situations, Ye Kong decided to equip the Skeleton Sword and Shield Hand on his body. As for the sacrifice effect, you can temporarily change the card when needed. With the movement of your mind, the Skeleton Sword and Shield Hand card disappeared from Ye Kong’s hand. Ye Kong could see an icon of a skeleton soldier appearing under his blood bar.

"It's really like a game world. You can get a copy by picking up a mage card." Ye Kong smiled secretly, but this was just about his preference. Then he removed the energy screen and turned around and looked around.
