Chapter 2? 8 The Silent People

"Be prepared, move quickly when you break in. Just walk close to the wall and don't disturb the people inside." At the entrance between the nine and ten floors, the captain of the rebel army carefully advised the soldiers who were still confused.

"Captain, didn't Lieutenant General Lie said that the culprit who murdered the commander had committed suicide because of his crime? The squadron was not involved in it, so why should we attack them?" A new recruit who had just been in the army asked without knowing his life or death.

"We are just taking over the alert of the squadron. This is a preventive measure for the participants and the party was not said to attack them." The captain glared at the recruits fiercely and argued.

"If you take over the alert, just drive in right away... it's like a thief." The new recruit who was stared at did not dare to ask questions again. He was dissatisfied, but he couldn't help but mutter while the captain turned around.

"You, come out!" Unexpectedly, the captain's ears were quite sharp and he heard the new recruit's muttering. He simply pointed at the new recruit's nose and called him out.

"Yes..." The recruit shrank his neck and thought to himself that he was going to be scolded now.

"Boy, if you remember correctly, you are new here, right?" The two of them turned their backs to the entire team less than a few steps. The captain seemed to be intimate and stretched out his arm around the recruit's neck and asked.

"Well, I am a volunteer soldier who was urgently mobilized and only joined the army last month." The recruit nodded.

"No wonder..." The captain showed a sudden realization, "So, your instructor didn't teach you the rules of the army, right?"

"Rules? Which rule?" the recruit was still asking stupidly.

"Which rule? This rule!" The captain suddenly punched the recruit in the heart of the recruit.

"Uh..." The captain's punch was very heavy. The recruit only felt that his internal organs were churning, and a mouthful of hot things turned back from his stomach.

"Don't ask what you shouldn't ask. The commander must be executed unconditionally. This is the rule. Do you understand it?!" The captain dropped the recruit who was kneeling down and vomiting, turned around and shouted at the entire team like a ferocious spirit.

"I understand!" Who dares to say no?

"Very good! If you act in five minutes, whoever dares to let me down will end!" The captain kicked the new recruit's butt again, and the new recruit couldn't bear to eat it and chewed on the filth he spit out.

The whole team looked at their eyes and nose, and looked at their hearts, and were silent.

"Set off!"

When the captain was content to kill the chicken to warn the monkey to serve the whole team, he did not notice that the killed "the chicken" was staring at his back with extreme hatred.

- March 9th night? The Mist Moon Bridge -

"Huh... Huh?" Maria, who was sitting in front of the monitor, kept lit the lower hand, and she woke up suddenly until her forehead hit the cold monitor. She had not rested for two days and a night and had not had a sleep, but she should have worn out if she had a robot. Espresso, mental power, and long ago, she could not suppress her fatigue.

"You go and rest, I'm here to be on duty." Captain Xiangyue, who returned from a nap in his room, happened to see this scene and patted Maria on the shoulder.

"Sorry, I'll make a cup of coffee if I accidentally...I'll make a cup of coffee." Maria smiled awkwardly, and the dark circles on her cheeks were clear at a glance.

"Don't be willful, it's not your own business." Captain Xiangyue forced the coffee cup from Maria. "If the rebels took advantage of your sleepiness, you would be very guilty. Be good, go to bed."

"Uh... OK." Maria left her seat with a wry smile. This was the first time she had been sent to adulthood by coaxing her children, which made her miss her and laugh and cry.

"Oh, by the way. How are the departure work of each ship?" Maria turned around and asked as she was about to walk out of the bridge.

"Except for the Muyue and the Cormorant, there seems to be something wrong with the supply crane, and it is appropriate to repair other warships. It should be done in another two or three hours." Captain Xiangyue answered simply.

"I understand, I will be back then." Maria nodded and left the bridge.

"Even if you don't want to get up, I have to drag you over. I have no friendship with the army." Captain Xiangyue shook his head and smiled, and sat in front of the monitor.

-Other side of the battleship? Temporary lounge-

“…!”

Vader opened his eyes and sat up suddenly, but found that he was still in the quiet lounge. He looked left and right. The emperor and Wang Wenye were still breathing and sleeping peacefully, and everything was not abnormal.

"It's really... I actually have nightmares." Rubbing my temples, Vader climbed up from the sofa thoughtfully, with no sign of fatigue in his expression.

Vader once learned a magical resting method from a fellow killer in Zhongdu: by adjusting muscles, breathing and thinking to create the best resting state for herself. Often, the fatigue of not sleeping for four or five days can be wiped out in a few hours - of course, I won’t dream. This method of rest that can be tried every time has abnormal today. Vader had a dream and was a nightmare, which made her feel incredible, who rarely dreamed when she had normal sleep.

"Go out for a walk..." Vader left the lounge alone with a sigh.

There were people coming and going in the corridor outside the lounge, and most of the warships were preparing for the departure. In the busy life, Vader found that he was so idle that he could not help, so she chose to avoid it. As she walked, the words "medical room" appeared in front of her, and Vader opened the door and walked in.

There were no staff on duty inside, probably because they had dispatched medical equipment. Several seriously injured and unconscious special forces lie in the emergency room, and a worried girl lying on the sofa in the duty room outside.

Xiao Mengyu.

Because he followed Vader's advice, the medical staff gave Xiao Mengyu a sedative that could numb five or six strong men, which could at least ensure that Xiao Mengyu spent three days and three nights in deep sleep... But her nervous expression made Vader suspect that Xiao Mengyu had a nightmare.

"You're dreaming too?" Pulling over a chair, Vader sat next to Xiao Mengyu.

Of course, Xiao Mengyu would not give her a reply.

"The fleet is preparing to sail. If you know that I threw Li Jingyun here and took you away alone, I think you would want to kill me when you wake up?" Vader shook his head and smiled bitterly.

Xiao Mengyu frowned.

"It seems like that." Vader nodded as if he had got the answer, "I can't let you go alone, otherwise there will be one missing on the list of people who want to kill me. You will have another one more Li Jingyun. Instead of being chased by that guy who is angry and irrational, it's better to offend you easily."

Xiao Mengyu snorted inadvertently, wondering if it was Vader's words that affected her subconscious.

"What? I think I'm ruthless? I'm better than ruthlessness." Vader laughed again, "I know it's not so good to throw a benefactor who helps me to take revenge among the millions of enemy camps. Since Qian Ye Fanyin died, I have vowed to myself to protect him. If I knew his position, I would bring him back to you without saying a word. Even if I die, it's okay. Anyway, I have no meaning in my life now. But now he is missing, and I can't let his friends die, that's really sorry to him..."

Xiao Mengyu turned her back to Vader in annoyance, and it seemed that she was really dreaming.

"Don't agree with what I said? What do you think is your opinion, but I insist on my idea. Besides, the teleportation error may have already..." Speaking of this, Vader shook his head as if he was going to throw some speculation away from his head, "No, this guy's life is so great, he didn't lose his life after many accidents in the academy. If I don't have me, it's the same. Eighty-most of us are dead. This guy still lives well."

Xiao Mengyu didn't make any noise this time.

"It's just a nightmare...what am I talking to myself?" Vader suddenly felt very funny like a lunatic, "Anyway, thank you for listening to my conversation and sleeping well."

Patting Xiao Mengyu's shoulder, Vader left the medical room.

"How is she?" Unexpectedly, Vida ran into Maria as soon as she went out.

"I'm still sleeping, but I seem to be having a nightmare." Vader told the truth.

"Is that true..." Maria let out a long sigh with complex emotions.

"You go and rest, you are in a very bad spirit." Vader suggested expressionlessly.

"I was so tired that I lay on the bed but couldn't sleep. I wanted to drink some wine. Can I accompany me?" Maria said inexplicably.

"Now?" Vader was a little surprised.

"Don't look at me being a well-known drunkard in the entire college when I was in Zhongdu like this, you don't know." Maria chuckled.

"You are torture yourself, this is not a good way to escape." Vader hit the nail on the head without any mercy.

"Ha, is it a good way to escape by talking to the unconscious person?" Maria handed her mocking look.

"When are you...?" Vader's face turned red. It was probably the first time she blushed because of shame and annoyance, except for her broken childhood memories.

"Tsk tsk, did you not even notice me if you were too serious? This is not like a killer doing it." Maria shook her head.

"...Okay, have a drink with you." Vader raised his hand to surrender.

Unfortunately, they hadn't started yet and suddenly had a warning from the ship.

"It's really time to come. Fortunately, I didn't sleep." Maria shrugged her shoulders with a relaxed look.

"Similar." Vader nodded.

The two looked at each other and smiled and walked towards the bridge.
