Chapter 8 The mutated copy

The forest in the morning was very lively, and the chirping birds were as upset as an alarm clock. The gentle sunlight shone through the leaves and gently stroked Green's face.

Green twisted his neck and found that he was not feeling discomfort - after all, he was sleeping in the open air in the wild, not even a sleeping bag. Originally, Green was ready to catch a cold or back pain after waking up.

"Huh? Where is that maid?" Green got up from the ground and looked around nervously, "Are you already right away?"

At this moment, the girl walked out of the woods with some wild fruits and wild vegetables.

"Miss Maid, good morning~" Green greeted happily.

The girl walked up to Green, put down the wild vegetables and wild fruits in her hand, and handed the two sauce worms to Green.

Green looked at the two big white bugs as big as a palm, then looked at the girl in front of him, and suddenly understood what the girl meant.

"So that's it. Do you want me to cook this bug?" Green couldn't help but smile. Girl, you completely ignored my food yesterday, and today you finally knew to please me, right?

Make a fire and cook, and soon Green made two sauce worm vegetable rolls.

"One for one person~" Green handed a vegetable roll to the girl and left one himself.

The girl took the vegetable roll handed over by Green and bit it down!

The girl showed a satisfied smile on her face.

After a simple breakfast and preparing some lunch food, Green took the girl he "picked" and embarked on the journey again.

After a long journey for a day, Green and the girl finally arrived in the Altland Mountains.

The Ultraland Mountains, starting from Lake Lordamir in the west and ending at the Plague Canyon in the east, spanning the north of the Silver Leaf Forest, are the border between the Paromia Kingdom and the Northern Undead Republic, and are also a natural barrier to prevent the northern undead from moving south. As a border line, the Ultraland Mountains have left many battlefield relics of all sizes in many disputes, and many of them have been transformed into "copies" in the game. Green's goal is a small copy called "Secret Tunnel of the Smugglers".

"Smuggler's Tunnel", a level 5-level five-person dungeon in the game. The tunnel was originally used by a group of smugglers to smuggle goods. As long as they pass through this tunnel, they can reach the undead land opposite the Ultraland Mountains. But later, the group of smugglers had an accident during a smuggling process, and eventually all died in the tunnel and became undead. The secret tunnel north of the Ultraland Mountains also collapsed for various reasons. It was not until a player built a city here that he dug the tunnel again.

The enemies in the "Smuggler's Tunnel" are mainly some skeleton soldiers with a level 5 level, and the final boss is a level 6 skeleton mage and a level 8 skeleton warrior.

For Green, the level of this dungeon is obviously a little higher, and it is a bit difficult to brush alone, but Green is not alone now, but a level 10 NPC who can fight the Undead Scouts alone! As long as the NPC does not hang up, it is still okay to take Green to brush a level 5 dungeon.

"I remember it should be nearby." Green compared the system map and tried hard to find the target location.

Green Silver's skill is level 3, and all the detailed maps of the Silver Leaf Forest area. With the help of the system map, Green doesn't have to worry about getting lost, and can accurately find everything you want to go. However, the Ultraland Mountains no longer fall into the "Silver Leaf Forest", so the map is full of fog, and Green has to rely on his own memory to explore.

Fortunately, although the scene in reality has some changes from the game, it can still be barely recognized if you observe carefully.

Soon, based on his previous life experience, Green found his destination: an abandoned altar located under a cliff.

Under the cliff like a knife, there was a huge stone more than one person tall, and there was an inconspicuous small altar next to the boulder. The altar was very dilapidated, and even the holy emblem on the altar could not be seen clearly. It looked like a camping site that no one had used.

"Miss Maid, come and help me move this altar away!" Green walked to the altar and turned around and greeted the girl.

Compared to Green, who is only at the level of the dog-headed man, the girl can be called a "strongman"! With the help of the girl, the altar was quickly pushed aside, revealing the hidden cave behind the altar, and a corruption smell floated out of the cave.

Looking at the cave that appeared behind the altar, the girl's face moved slightly. Is this a hidden tunnel?

At the smell of floating out of the cave, Green couldn't help but frown: There was no such unpleasant odor in the game.

"Miss Maid, take out your flints and borrow a fire." Green took off the three torches he had prepared from his back and handed one of them to the girl.

They were three simple torches made of dead branches and vines. The handle of the torch was very long. When the torch was ignited, the torch looked like a flame spear with flames burning at the tip of the gun. The skeleton soldiers had extremely high resistance to puncture damage, but their resistance to flame damage was negative. When dealing with low-level skeleton soldiers, they were even easier to use than heavy weapons such as heavy hammers.

Green lit the torch, held one hand in each hand, and walked into the cave.

Outside the cave, the girl hesitated for a while, and finally followed her in.

The dark tunnel was not spacious, and even if the two of them walked side by side, it seemed a bit crowded, so Green walked in front with a torch, and the girl walked in behind with a broom with a dagger hidden inside and another torch.

As the two turned a corner, a rotten zombie suddenly appeared in front of Green.

"Roasted zombies? Hell! It shouldn't be skeleton soldiers?" Green was shocked, and pressed the torch as a weapon on the zombies to prevent the zombies from approaching, while he quickly retreated!

"Burning: causes 1 life damage."

The torches burned on the rotten zombies and emitted a burnt smell, but the rotten zombies themselves did not seem to have suffered much damage.

At this moment, the girl who was following Greene in the original work suddenly moved forward and exchanged positions with Greene. At the same time, she pulled out the short sword from the broom and cut off the rotten zombie's neck with one sword.

Snap instantly!

Green looked at the head that fell to the ground, and without hesitation, pulled out the sword from his waist, walked forward, and stabbed him hard!

"Crack~" the iron sword made a harsh friction sound, and then pierced through the zombie's head with one sword.

A red number "-1" slowly emerges from the head.

Sure enough, he was not dead!

A little golden light flew out of the rotten zombie's head and penetrated into Green's chest.

For undead creatures such as zombies and skeletons, as long as the soul fire is still there, even if the body is dismantled, it will not really die. Therefore, if you want to use physics NPCs to train, undead creatures such as zombies and skeletons are undoubtedly the best choice - NPCs kill monsters, players cannot gain experience, and only the kills completed by the players themselves can gain experience. NPC's physical attacks usually only make undead creatures into a dying state, giving players the opportunity to finish the attack.
