Chapter 4 Let go of that Bodhisattva!
Tang Sanzang sat on the horse's back, rolled his eyes, and couldn't help but complain in his heart: "Why are you transformed into a sun? What the hell is the walking sun wind chime? What the hell is it that turns into a horse? Miss, how can you have such a terrible idea! And, can you whisper in a low voice! I heard it all..."
Resisting the urge to vomit blood, Tang Sanzang tried hard to maintain the appearance of a monk without joy or sorrow, and finally arrived at Huasheng Temple. Sure enough, people were more troublesome than monsters.
As Li Simin said, if he is not there, no one dares to start, when he arrives, it is auspicious time.
The civil and military officials followed Li Simin to worship the Buddha's golden body and met the Arhat. In the huge temple, there were 1,200 monks sitting neatly, with fragrance and misty clouds, and their momentum was quite extraordinary, which was comparable to the Buddhist Dharma Contest back then.
Tang Sanzang and Li Simin walked side by side, crossing the passages where one thousand two hundred monks bent on both sides, and walked all the way to the front high platform to sit down.
There is a title of Master Da Jian, Tang Sanzang, the leader of the Tang Dynasty monk. This water and land conference will be held for 49 days in a row. He has to sit and preach for several hours every day. He has become accustomed to these boring years, just because he is worried about getting angry.
Tang Sanzang had no Buddha in his heart, did not believe in Buddha, but did not deny the wonderful uses of Buddhist scriptures. Of course, he only told his master such a traitor and never mentioned half of the sentence to the second person.
It should be because he ate Jinchanzi. He has been close to Buddhism since he was a child. His understanding of Buddhism was the best in the Tang Dynasty and deserved his true name.
Tang Sanzang looked at the two short and one long sandalwood burning in the incense burner in front of him, frowned slightly, and was silent for a long time, as if he was thinking about the profound Buddhist teachings.
More than a thousand monks sat upright, listening with their ears, looking at Tang Sanzang with respect, full of respect and expectation.
The scene was strangely quiet for a long time, and Tang Sanzang finally spoke, pointing to the incense burner in front of him and said, "This incense is different, change it for me, otherwise I can't say it."
Li Simin, who was sitting leisurely beside him, burst out laughing, picked up the exquisite pastry beside him and took a small bite, and his smile became brighter.
However, when the monks under him heard this, none of them laughed or despised, and they all showed a meditation, which actually conducted an in-depth analysis and understanding of Tang Sanzang's words.
"Every word of Master Sanzang is Jizhu, and this sentence must have a deep meaning." A round old monk concentrated on his mind and thought hard.
"The three sandalwoods were originally lit together, but now they are two long and one short. Why is this? It's like three people were born at the same time, but their life's fortunes are different. This is determined by the cause and effect of the previous life. Master Sanzang said it, and the little monk was convinced." A thin monk's eyes lit up and murmured to himself, and his eyes looked at Tang Sanzang became more and more respectful.
"The master refused to speak out because the three sandalwoods were not neat, so he used this to describe the different understandings of the cultivation of the people who sat down and understood, and should work hard to learn from the Dharma. I am ashamed, ashamed, I must listen carefully to the Dharma this time." A middle-aged monk wearing a shabby monk's robe looked ashamed.
Well, Tang Sanzang really didn't think so much. He waved to the little novice monk who was still thinking, and asked him to light three new sandalwoods again, interrupting everyone's contemplation and starting to talk about the Lotus Sutra.
Tang Sanzang preached the Dharma in an easy-to-understand manner on the high platform. He explained in detail some of the Buddhist teachings he had learned over the years. There seemed to be a strange power emitting from the bodies of the people and then drifting towards the endless void.
The monks in the audience were fascinated by the hearing. From time to time, some people shouted softly, and they covered their mouths and lowered their heads with embarrassment. The joy that could not be hidden in their eyes. The doubts accumulated over the decades were actually pointed out in Tang Sanzang's words. How could they not be happy? They admire Tang Sanzang even more.
This is a strange world, with monsters, ghosts, and gods and Buddhas. People in the world respect gods and Buddhas and believe in this, which is a good phenomenon for feudal rule.
Tang Sanzang was not a radical reformer, nor did he promote socialist ideas in this world. Overthrowing feudal rule sounds very troublesome, so he should do whatever he wants. All society has a bottom class and a ruling class.
However, Tang Sanzang had no Buddha in his heart. If he wanted to say faith, perhaps he believed more about himself.
"That monk..." Tang Sanzang was immersed in the preaching, but he was slapped by the sound of slapping the table and a stern shout. He looked up and saw a thin young monk standing under the stage, wearing a bright yellow monk's robe, but his hand was on the short table in front of him. Judging from the monk's height and length, he should have tiptoed down.
The stern shout was full of anger and slapped the table without any mercy. However, the young monk looked at Tang Sanzang's expression and looked obsessed!
Tang Sanzang has seen this expression since he was a child, but he is usually beautiful little girls, as well as the palace maids who are dissatisfied with desires in the palace. Now a young monk showed this expression to him, and he couldn't help but feel chills, and almost kicked the shorts in front of him away.
"You are so handsome." The young monk shook his hands and finally finished the remaining half of the sentence. A hint of blush appeared on his face, which was a little pale and thin, and he looked terrifying!
"Hey hey, ugly monk, why are you here again? Haven't you been beaten enough by me yesterday?" Li Simin, who almost fell asleep listening to Tang Sanzang's lecture, was also woken up by the sound of slapping the table. Looking at the young monk standing in front of the platform with his feet on his feet and blushing face, he stood up suddenly and said.
The young monk's expression changed, and he suddenly retracted his hand on the short table, took a few steps back, subconsciously covered his butt, and looked at Li Simin in panic.
Is this Guanyin Bodhisattva? Tang Sanzang stared at the young monk who was protecting his butt like a small sucker, looking at Li Simin with a resentful look. Thinking of her expression before, her hair stood up, could Guanyin Bodhisattva be a sissy gay man?
"I didn't cheat money, and I didn't come to you. Don't spank me again, okay?" the young monk said with obvious lack of confidence. When he spoke, his tone had become a plea.
Li Simin waved his hand and said mercilessly: "No, come, please pull him down and hit the fifty-odds first."
The two guards rushed forward from the side and were about to grab the young monk with a panic look on his face.
Tang Sanzang stood up and was about to wait. A monk in gray clothes, holding a nine-ring tin stick in his hand, was already blocking the young monk and said in a deep voice: "Bold, this is Guanyin Bodhisattva in the South China Sea, and you ordinary people, how dare you be rude!"
"Yes, I am Guanyin Bodhisattva, you can't hit me." The young monk poked his head out from behind the burly monk and nodded vigorously.
"You ugly monk, do you think I am a three-year-old child? Guanyin Bodhisattva must be a great beauty. How could he look like you?" Li Simin curled his lips and waved to the guards standing beside him. Four guards rushed up and surrounded the two of them.
"Great beauty? Really? People will be shy." A hint of blushing appeared on the young monk's face, and he twisted his body shyly.
The monks sitting cross-legged beside him were in an uproar and ran away all at once. Two more ran to the side and vomited, yelling that they couldn't stand it.
Tang Sanzang also felt chill in his heart. His last beautiful vision for Guanyin Bodhisattva was gone at once, and he didn't say anything to see what the two living treasures were going to do.
"Pull out together and beat fifty sticks each, and then drive them out." Li Simin smiled and ordered. The guards responded and surrounded them, and were about to hold the two monks.
"Don't believe it, I can prove it." The young monk walked out from behind the burly monk, looked anxious, and suddenly slapped his head and said, "By the way, I can turn back to my true body for you to show."
"Okay, you change. If you can't change it, then hit a hundred big boards." Li Simin raised her hand to stop the guards and said to the young monk.
"Then I've changed, Mucha, transform quickly!" The young monk patted the burly monk beside him and said, for a moment, the light was everywhere and the auspicious mist was colorful, making people dare not look directly at it.
Today, in Huasheng Temple, in addition to more than a thousand monks and civil and military officials, there are also family members of all officials. There are no less than ten thousand people in Chang'an City. At first sight, a golden light was made on the high platform, a female Bodhisattva and a fat man with mushroom head stood in the auspicious clouds, standing in the air. They all thought it was Tang Sanzang who preached the Dharma and invited the gods and Buddhas from the sky, and hurriedly knelt down on the ground to worship, not daring to look at it unreasonably.
For a moment, only Tang Sanzang and Li Simin remained standing in the entire Huasheng Temple.
Tang Sanzang looked up and looked at Guanyin Bodhisattva who had already turned back to his original appearance, with his mouth twitching, and his expression a little uncomfortable.
I saw that Guanyin Bodhisattva looked only seventeen or eighteen years old, with beautiful appearance, eyes like Venus, a red mole on the forehead, and a slender waist. She was indeed a great beauty.
He wore a cherry blossom on his head, a plain blue robe and a gold-edged brocade velvet skirt, a white jade bottle in his hand, and a piece of willow branches that were almost dead.
The most important thing is that she even hung a pendant of at least five kilograms, such as gold leaves, pearls, and jade, which were not less than the brocade robes on Tang Sanzang. Half of the dazzling light just now was emitted by these things.
Of course, there is also the most important point. Guanyin is now flying in the sky, and Tang Sanzang and Li Simin both looked up at the sky, while she was wearing...skirts.
"Sister Guanyin, I saw your underwear." Li Simin said with a smile.
"Ah?" Guanyin looked down with a little cute look. Seeing that Li Simin and Tang Sanzang were still raising their heads, she came to her senses. She suddenly lost her appearance and shouted, "It's so embarrassing..." The auspicious clouds under her feet were unstable and fell from the sky.
It was really unpredictable to let Guanyin Bodhisattva fall to the ground. Tang Sanzang quickly stretched out his hands and caught her. Although he was wearing a pendant, fortunately Guanyin was quite light.
Being hugged by Tang Sanzang in a princess hugged her, Guanyin looked up at Tang Sanzang's face, and stars seemed to be flashing in both eyes. She stretched out her left hand and gently stroked Tang Sanzang's bald head. Her little face turned red and she said intoxicatedly: "So handsome, really handsome."
"Please respect yourself." Tang Sanzang was touched by his head, and he was clever and almost threw the Bodhisattva in his arms out. Is this really the legendary Guanyin Bodhisattva who saved the suffering? What did he mean by his right hand that stretched into his chest?
"Let go of that Bodhisattva!"
