857 Unknown Puzzle

As a scientist, Bruce's scientific research results have become a weapon of the military, which Bruce never wanted to see.

Therefore, after Bruce learned of Hulk's existence, his first idea was to destroy Hulk. He was desperate to find all the ways, just to kill Hulk and not to cause a war catastrophe; at the end of the story, Brosky, who turned into hatred, tried to destroy everything, he was a complete war machine, and the general Ross standing behind him, which made Bruce suffer. In order to regain peace, he had to accept Hulk, learn to control Hulk, hoping to eliminate hatred.

The main story line of the "Invincible Hulk" - Bruce Banner's awakening - under the promotion of the war core, it will increase the depth and thickness of the entire story, and at the same time make the character Bruce more three-dimensional and full.

Finally, we enter the stage of the decisive battle, and the plot can be set to be more dramatic.

At first, Bruce was unwilling to transform into Hulk because he was worried that after the transformation, he would lose his mind and join forces with hatred to destroy New York City; or he could not subdue hatred and became another research object of Ross. Such hesitation made hatred powerful and destroyed half of New York in a devastating way, and even captured Betty.

In order to capture hatred, Ross ordered fire to be opened in a desperate situation despite Betty's still in his hatred, sacrificing all his power to imprison hatred and develop more war machines. In this case, Bruce chose to transform into Hulk, trying to save Betty, and even more trying to kill hatred.

Here, a kind of loneliness and grandeur of Bruce alone in fighting against the whole world, and the whole world fired a collective shot at him, but he stood in front of Betty. The whole world betrayed him, and only Betty stood on his side. This epic tragic sense of fate will undoubtedly push the climax to the extreme.

In fact, Lance was still considering integrating this sense of loneliness into the movie. During the small climax in the second part of the middle, before Brosky turned into hatred, Brosky and Ross joined forces to subdue Hulk. Betty noticed that Ross wanted to fire rocket launchers at Hulk. She repeatedly stopped her father ineffectively, so she broke free from the constraints and ran towards Hulk, blocking him, but the army still opened fire. So, fired all over the world, Hulk held Betty in his arms, blocking all attacks by himself, and the whole world turned into a sea of fire.

This bond between Hulk and Betty will become an important driving force for Bruce to control Hulk.

Returning to the finale, Hulk went through a lot of hardships and finally defeated hatred, but before he killed hatred, Ross began to try to attack Hulk - he needed hatred to stay, and he also wanted to keep Hulk. Looking at Betty, Hulk had no way to attack Ross, so he hugged Betty and left. In order to control hatred, Ross gave up his plan to continue chasing. However, Bruce immediately felt that his control over Hulk began to disappear again. After Betty left a kiss on his forehead, Hulk disappeared and fled.

The movie ends.

The entire script is clearly divided into three parts, the beginning, the process, and the ending. Each part creates its own little climax. For example, in addition to the destruction of the laboratory, when Bruce was discovered in Brazil, Lance believed that parkour could be used to shoot and chase the streets and alleys. This shooting method was still very fresh ten years later, not to mention the present in 2006. This not only adds a sense of freshness, but also uses quick editing to create a more sharp visual effect than "spy shadows".

Under the main line of "Bruce Banner's Awakening", two or three branches are wrapped around, which enriches the plot, and can also increase the depth of the work, and at the same time lay the groundwork for the sequel - the sequel can completely revolve around the fate of Ross and Betty, and then awaken the tragic fate between Bruce and his father, pushing the Hulk's sense of loneliness that is not accepted by the world to the extreme.

In fact, even in the "Avengers", the Hulk is an irregular time bomb, and everyone needs to be more or less guarded against him. This sense of loneliness will continue to accompany the Hulk. He cannot become the darling of the people like Iron Man or Captain America, and is destined to stay away from the crowd. At the same time, the Hulk's emotional life will also be destined to be bumpy.

However, these are all sequel content, returning to "Invincible Hulk".

In addition to the entire framework, Lance believes that many details can be added to complete the script. For example, after the beginning, Bruce lived alone in Brazil. In his previous life, Zach joined the role of a local Brazilian girl, but the existence of this character has no meaning. It is just to attract a group of gangsters and speed up the time for Bruce to transform into a Hulk. Instead of using such a meaningless plot, it is better to increase the flashback memories of Bruce and Betty, which will become the driving force for Bruce to learn to control emotions, and at the same time, it can also make the audience believe that this bond is convincing.

In addition, in terms of shooting, Lance also believes that it is necessary to change his attitude. Whether it is the "Hulk Hulk" or "Invincible Hulk", in order to highlight the Hulk's tragic color, the entire light is dark, and even the costumes of the characters in the movie are dark tones. This psychological depression is necessary for literary and artistic movies, but for commercial popcorn, it makes it difficult for the audience to enter and collide with him. Even in "Batman Prequel: The Dark Knight", the clown's charming fluorescent green hair and purple suit have become a bright color.

Compared to Light itself, the director's attitude needs to be adjusted essentially. The Hulk is indeed a tragedy, but this tragedy is hopeful. Even Bruce himself always has a joking self-deprecating attitude, just like an attitude towards half a glass of water. Is it "only half a glass of water" or "there is still half a glass of water", this gap in attitude will determine the tone of the movie.

If the script "Invincible Hulk" can be filmed according to Lance's idea, then this work can even surpass "Dark Knight" and become a pinnacle that truly combines philosophical thinking with superheroes, creating an insurmountable milestone. But this is just if, and it's really easy to talk about war on paper.

What kind of work will "Invincible Hulk" become? This is still an unknown puzzle.

The process of writing the script "Invincible Hulk" is undoubtedly very difficult, and it is more difficult than any of Lance's current works, but Lance gradually found himself enjoying it, and even kept recording various ideas, then overturning and rewriting the completed parts, then deleting and filling them. The fun in it is really hard to describe.

Lance began to conceive in his mind, if he were to shoot, how the camera would work, how the light would be composed, and how the performance would be presented - this made Lance think of an important question: Who will play the role of the Hulk?

In the script written by Lance, the Hulk is undoubtedly a character with depth and height. It is not enough to stand up and act like Iron Man or Captain America. This character will be divided into two parts: one is the part of Bruce Banner, whose mentality changes will become the main line of the entire movie; the other is the part of Hulk Hulk, the loneliness and desolation after transformation, and the changes after Bruce gradually masters control, which will become the key to winning the audience's resonance.

But…How does the Hulk Hulk perform?

Perhaps, this is also the reason why the Hulk's works have been failing - other superheroes have always maintained the human form, so there is naturally no problem in performing; but Hulk must be completed through computer technology, which is undoubtedly a huge test. On the one hand, whether the computer special effects are realistic and whether they can convince the audience; on the other hand, they have to consider the details of facial expressions, and the performance is unimaginable.

Motion capture technology, Lance thought of this advanced film shooting technology at the first time. This technology can be said to be a milestone in the history of film development, and truly allows virtual characters to interpret the delicate emotional changes of human beings. Andy-serkis is undoubtedly the top actor in motion capture technology. In 2010, in the work "Rise of the Planet of the Apes", he completed the performance of the King of the Orangutan Caesar through motion capture technology. It was hailed as "worth an Oscar nomination", completely breaking the barrier between computer special effects and actor performance.

This technology entered the mainstream sight after the "Lord of the Rings" series. The character of Guru was completed by Andy Serkins through motion capture technology, but it really triggered revolutionary progress. It was James Cameron's "Avatar". This work set off a box office frenzy around the world, giving people a new understanding of computer visual effects, and this technology has also become popular in major Hollywood film companies.

The promoters behind the motion capture technology must not ignore the name of Robert Zemegis. The director who directed "Back to the Future", "Forrest Gump" and "The Rest of the Desert Island" seemed to disappear after entering the 21st century and was in a slump. It was not until after 2012 that the two works "Walking in the Cloud" returned to the public's sight with "Flights" and "Walking in the Cloud". In fact, in the past ten years, Robert has been devoted to studying motion capture technology and has filmed three works "Polar Express", "Beowulf" and "Christmas Carol", all of which are completed using motion capture technology. However, these three works are unsatisfactory, making it impossible to see the need to use motion capture technology, which once made the technology controversy - many industry insiders believe that this technology does not need to exist, either using live actors or using computer special effects, which is enough.

But without motion capture technology, works like "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" would not reach the level later. Similarly, the work "Invincible Hulk" could not meet the requirements of Lance. Motion capture technology is undoubtedly Lance's first choice, and it is a necessary choice.
Chapter completed!
