773 Right Pace

After a whole night, Lance finally regained the right pace.

The most important thing about Max is a kind of temperament, which exudes vicissitudes, toughness and roughness from the inside out. When I was shooting a magazine for "Us Weekly", Lance once tried the "Crazy Max" series style, but it was static flat shooting. As long as the photographer can capture the momentary spirit, the shooting task will be completed. If it is not easy to shoot a magazine, after all, Lance needs to complete the transformation of temperament, then it is even more difficult to invest in the shooting, because Lance needs to truly get involved in the role in a dynamic environment.

This requires a fusion of the acting skills of the method and the performance school.

In fact, Max and Lance have many things in common, decisive, tough and direct, his sympathy has almost been wiped out. He can try to cut off Nax's right hand without hesitation just to get rid of the chains; he can also drive away Ferosa's chariot without any nostalgia and leave all women waiting to die. In the wasteland apocalypse, "trust" is the cheapest, most boring, and most stupid feeling. A wrong judgment is likely to put himself in a desperate situation or even lose his name. Max will never easily hand his back to strangers, and will not take it lightly because of soft heart or because the other party is a woman.

Under Max's tough appearance, his sensitivity, his caution, his vigilance, his toughness, and even his primitiveness can clearly see the imprint left by the end of the world on his body, deep into the bone marrow.

Just like Robert Neville in "I am the Legend", Max and Robert went through the same process - under the guidance of moral justice and under the pressure of loneliness, they chose to believe in strangers, at least trusted vulnerable groups such as women and children, and even bravely stood up to help each other, but ended up throwing themselves into a disaster situation. The other party not only did not know how to be grateful, but even pushed him into the abyss of death.

The difference is that "I am a Legend" shows the process of Robert going through all this - or it should be so, while Max has completed his transformation in the "Raging Road". Therefore, Lance needs to go through the psychological construction of "I am a Legend" by himself, and then enter Max's world bit by bit.

This is not a difficult thing. In order to get Warner Bros. to take the bait, Lance did seriously study the original novel and script of "I am a Legend". Unfortunately, Warner Bros. was decisive and did not adopt Lance's script. Otherwise, the strategy he adopted on Disney could be copied again. However, now the script of "I am a Legend" unexpectedly played a role, which played a crucial role in building the character.

What's more, on that night, Lance himself was experiencing the struggle on the edge of trust. The pain of soul tearing was almost unbearable, confused and anxious, bloody but completely invisible. In a trance, Lance blurred the difference between reality and illusion, and the boundary became more and more blurred, and countless memory fragments began to pour into his mind, which really made Lance have the illusion of being in the end of the world.

After he truly reached the realm of entering the soul through his method, Lance studied the strength of his performance in detail. His personal temperament is indeed not rough and sharp enough, so in addition to changing his hairstyle and beard to adjust his appearance characteristics, he also used his acting skills to reveal the iron-blooded and primitive temperament of a tough guy bit by bit.

Max is a taciturn character with no words in the whole movie. At the same time, he is not a character with a lively personality and does not have many physical movements. In other words, Lance must present the character's personality and psychological changes through changes in his eyes and eyebrows. This is not the strength of the method school, but more of the field of the expression school.

Lance has always hoped to seriously study the fusion of the two acting skills of the method and the performance skills. He tried it out in "Fruit Hard Candy", but he never expected that "Raging Road" would become the medium for Lance to explore the integration for the first time, and this work will also become the platform for Lance to show his acting skills for the first time. When he decided to shoot this work, Lance never expected this.

"Albert, prepare to start replaying." Lance shouted, and everyone in the crew focused their eyes, Emma was no exception.

Looking at Lance's back, Lance was very different from usual, as if he had completely changed, but everyone couldn't tell where it had changed, just like... it was like... it was like the body was still this body, but the soul had changed. The earth-shaking changes made everyone look at it. At this moment, Emma remembered Michael's words that were so excited that they were almost out of control. She couldn't help but look at it carefully, and then discovered the difference in details.

Usually, Lance always stands up straight, with his waist straight and his chest open. The decent and gentlemanly image leaves a deep impression on people. Even when he is slightly relaxed during his leisure time, the shoulder lines are still in a straight posture that is open. This is more like a habit that penetrates the bone marrow and is a fixed posture formed by childhood education. This is also the reason why people always feel that Lance has a noble and elegant temperament.

But at this moment, Lance's back arched slightly, not obvious, but he could still feel his chest tucked inward and his shoulders slightly forward. This subtle change brought out the temperament of a wolf boy in the primeval forest. Even if he did not see Lance's positive expression, Emma could imagine that the azure blue eyes were looking around sharply and sensitively, always preparing for attack and defense, as if the essence of battle had been integrated into the blood. This survival essence close to the animal's ability to perfectly interpret the vigilance and vigilance in the end-of-life environment.

In addition, Lance's feet stood a little more open than usual, almost on the same line as his shoulders, which reminded Emma of the soldiers in the army at the first time - every movement of the soldiers was trained so that they could devote themselves to the battle at any time. Even the usual pace and pace frequency, Lance made adjustments at this time. Emma couldn't say a specific thing, but she could feel that Lance's walking habits had changed, and her decisive but rough and primitive temperament penetrated from every detail of the body movement.

So, Lance looks like he is completely reborn - this is true, because it is true that Lance changed his walking habits, standing habits, and speaking habits. After one's habits are completely broken, he naturally becomes another person.

However, Emma was a little curious. If that was all, then Lance only interpreted the warrior's animal instinct. Such a performance can only be said to be superficial, and is enough for other ordinary action movies, but it is far from meeting the standard for actors like Lance. What's more, Michael just confirmed this.

Emma couldn't help but speed up and came to the front of the monitor, looking forward to Lance's performance just now.

Lance seemed to feel Emma approaching, and a glance frowned slightly. Emma raised her head in an unknown way and seemed to be asking, "Is there anything wrong?" The calm and calm gaze made Lance stunned, and her heart was a little annoyed, but Lance immediately suppressed it, without any response, turned to look at the monitor, and went to work again.

The replay began, and Lance observed it seriously. However, now he must leave the actor's position and stand at the director's height to examine the overall situation. Not only do he need to judge whether the actor's performance meets the requirements of the picture, but more importantly, they were shot together by all the shots, and the content of the splitting pictures was completely different. He must conceive in his mind how to edit, how to reshoot the shots, and how to create a movie picture.

Once again, again, third time... replayed again and again, but Lance never expressed his specific opinion, just whispered to Hayden and Newton to communicate some details that others could not hear.

Emma finally understood what Michael meant, eyes! Just the change of eyes, the inner activities and thoughts were fully presented, as if every movement and every look were natural, and the powerful aura moved the development of the entire situation, as if there was an invisible line, involving the changes in emotions.

There is a difference when there is comparison. Michael looks so young in front of Lance's performance, but this is exactly the most interesting point. Because Nux is young, restless, and fanatical. Michael's performance is a bit immature and also a bit exaggerated, but it perfectly brings out Nux's personality and characteristics. In sharp contrast, Nux's madness and Max's keenness are so clear that even Ferosa's resoluteness slowly penetrates the picture.

Wonderful! It's really wonderful!

Emma was already a little dumbfounded. She couldn't believe her eyes. It was originally a scene that was about to occupy the main part of the competition, a scene of a sandstorm as the protagonist, but the performances of the three actors were very insightful, making the story extremely full. Just watching this scene, you can vaguely guess the identity of each character and start to draw a complete story with all your imagination.

This skill is amazing.

Emma couldn't help but concentrate all her attention, and tried to see how Lance dispatched the entire scene. But her lack of ability still prevented her from going further. She couldn't see what changes Lance made after changing the shooting method, what effects it brought, and how it would be presented in the end. However, Emma was not greedy. As an actor, she still had a lot to learn. If she didn't have the talent for director, it would not be a pity.
