281 First encounter

The crew was really lively today. Michael Fassbender looked around a little restrainedly. Although the crew of "the day after tomorrow" was far larger, for some reason, after entering the crew of "Borrowing a Knife to Kill" he felt more pressure, as if there was a suffocating tension in the air.`

Standing there, Michael was at a loss and didn't know where he should report it - today was the first day of the filming, and there was no scene with him. Then he saw the direction of the dressing table. A man raised his right hand high and waved it greatly, shouting in the German that was holding it in his mouth, "Michael Fassbender."

When he looked closely, it was Cole Greed. Michael quickly walked up. Then he saw Tom Cruise surrounded by a group of people not far away. His steps gradually slowed down. He looked at Tom who was chatting and laughing in a daze, with incredible words written all over his eyes.

"I can't believe my eyes. Cole told me before that I was about to collaborate with Tom Cruise in a movie, and I thought he was joking." A mature and intellectual voice rang out next to him. Michael turned his head and looked over, and then saw Kate Beckinsale's unforgettable eyebrows and eyes.

Michael was stunned for a moment, then smiled bitterly, "I only knew this fact three seconds ago." Then Michael looked at Kate carefully, "And then I only realized that the cast of the movie was so powerful a second ago." Michael stretched out his right hand and introduced himself, "Michael Fassbender, will soon play the role of Fanning."

"Kate Beckinsale, I'm playing the role of Anne." Kate also friendlyly held Michael's right hand and looked back at Cole who was standing three steps behind him. "So, hasn't Cole told you about the cast of the movie before?" Kate could read Michael's almost unconcealable expression to his true emotions.`

"Uh... no, no." Michael shook his head. Looking back on the past few days, everything seemed like a dream, even more incredible than the success of the audition "the day after tomorrow". "I was just told. This movie puts strict requirements on the acting skills, which is why I got the role, but..."

Before there was any time to say the words behind, a bustling and restless voice interrupted his thoughts. Michael only saw everyone in the area in front of him looking in one direction. Including Kate in front of him and Cole not far away, Michael also turned his head and looked over, and then saw Lance's figure.

A light gray vertical striped collarless shirt, a pair of smoke-gray casual casual suit pants, paired with a pair of light brown oxford shoes, the simplicity reveals a restrained outfit, meticulously outlines the firm and well-proportioned figure. The proportion of the tall and straight body to the wide shoulders and narrow waist is swept to the extreme in the simplified dress; a tough and neat round inch makes the edges and corners of the cheeks fully exposed, but a touch of elegance is added to a pair of wooden square glasses on the bridge of the nose, and the sharp sword eyebrows are hidden behind the frame. The thrilling blue is looming deep in the lens, like cloudless, and the thin sunshine scattered from the blue sky, shattering gold light on the intoxicating blue sea in the Mediterranean.

Lance walked over quickly with a steady pace, attracting the eyes of everyone around him without any effort. Even Tom Cruise couldn't help but turn his head to look, with a flash of expectation in his eyes. However, Lance unexpectedly did not walk towards Tom first, but walked to Cole. He also signaled to Michael and Kate with his eyes, which caught Michael off guard, nodded in panic, and then realized that his movements seemed too stupid. But if he wanted to save it, he found that Lance had turned away. He couldn't help but scratch the back of his head in annoyance.

Lance patted Cole's arm and said with a low smile, "You actually appeared, before the mission is completed. `The crew is not welcome."

Cole also laughed dullly and hit back, "Don't be a bastard."

Lance just raised his eyebrows and said nothing more. He turned around and walked towards Tom's position, and then stopped in front of a strong bald man. Michael did not recognize the person and could not help but ask in a low voice, "Who is that?" Kate did not look back and replied in a low voice, "One of Tom's agents, Terence Cox, is an innovative artist."

"Mr. Cox is not on business today?" Lance still had a polite smile on his face, but from the names and words, the closeness and distantness are obvious. In fact, after the list of actors who "kill people with a knife" was confirmed, Lance had already made his position clear. How could an old fox like Terence not be able to see it? So Lance had no need to hide it.

Terence seemed not to notice the difference in Lance's attitude, and smiled, feeling comparable to the cloudless weather today. "This is my most important job today." Then Terence took the initiative and walked towards Tom. "Everyone is looking forward to the official start of this work."

After looking at the sight, Wade Russell did not see Wade Russell. I don’t know if this was an internal decision of the Innovative Artist Agency or Tom Cruise’s decision. The relationship between Wade and Lance was quite harmonious. After that audition, Wade called Lance to test the possibility of Lance signing a contract with the Innovative Artist Agency; but the relationship between Lance and Terence was obviously tighter.

As his thoughts surged, Lance had already arrived in front of Tom. Tom showed a big smile and stood up to give Lance a warm hug, "You don't look like a taxi driver like this." Today's schedule is very interesting, mainly Lance's scene, and Lance will appear in the first scene; but Tom only has one scene, warming up.

Lance chuckled twice, "You don't look like a professional killer either."

But the problem is that Tom has actually finished dressing up at this time. He has a white shirt with a light gray suit, a short, neat and neat silver head. The carefully rested stubble made the whole person become vicissitudes. His translucent eyes seemed to be hidden under the gray silk, completely dimming.

It can be seen that Tom made a huge sacrifice in order to play the role of Vincent. After the color of his head changed, he made him more than ten years old, and his elegant/flowing/spicy temperament disappeared; but it can still be seen that Tom's team made unremitting efforts to protect his image, and in essence, did not change Tom's appearance.

Lance clearly knew that Tom's "image" itself is a brand, which hides huge commercial value. Tom is not only a first-line actor in Hollywood, but also maintains the economic interests of a team of hundreds of people alone, which is not an exaggeration.

The most famous event was that in June 2005, Tom starred in the "Opra Talk Show". On the show, he jumped to the sand and jumped up and down to announce that Katie Holmes accepted his proposal. The frivolous behavior of this young boy attracted heated discussions across the United States and seriously affected his personal image. In the next at least a year, his extraordinary action became a sarcastic point of complaint. As a result, the box office of the "War of the World" he collaborated with Steven Spielberg was far from expected. Many industry experts analyzed that this incident had an important correlation.

Compared to George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and others, Tom has a far-reaching influence on Hollywood - but the title of "the first true American idol after the box office era" has become a shackle that he cannot escape. Even if Tom is 42 years old this year, he still must show the image of "idol".

Hearing Lance's words, Tom did not react at all. He always had a charming sunny smile on his face, but Terence and other staff members standing next to him couldn't help but change his expression. He was obviously very dissatisfied with Lance's offense. In their opinion, Tom had sacrificed a flowing head, and Lance was not satisfied. It was simply unacceptable to want to gain a better position.

Lance seemed to have not felt the sight of others at all. He raised his hands and pressed the corner of his mouth, pulled it down, and flattened his lips. "First, you must put away this smile full of the Tom Cruise logo. If necessary, during the shooting stage, you'd better avoid any kind of smile." This sentence made Terence take a step forward, as if he wanted to refute Lance, but Tom took the lead and raised his hand to stop Terence. Lance had no intention of pausing, and continued to say, "Also, you'd better wear a pair of contact lenses, brown or gray, the color of your pupils is too attractive."

Vincent is a killer, and wearing glasses is not suitable, so it must be covered with contact lenses; in fact, Max is the same. Lance chose glasses, on the one hand to cover the color of his pupils, and on the other hand, he deliberately chose thick lenses with the bottom of the beer bottle, which also showed some of the traitors.

Lance knew that Tom's image was crucial. Even if he let Tom "disfigure", his team probably wouldn't allow it, but some changes were necessary. Although Tom in front of him was no longer conspicuous, it was still not enough and was far from reaching the ordinary level.

Tom looked at Lance carefully. In fact, this appearance was already shocking. He had been staying on the street for three hours before, but was recognized by two people. Tom thought this was enough. But now that Lance had just met, he made harsh demands again... Tom was silent for a while, and the smile on the corner of his mouth slowly calmed down, and finally nodded, "No problem."
