270 Show sincerity

Ian straightened his back slightly and shook his head with a smile, "It's just a simple task. Obviously you need that taxi more than me." The gentleman's demeanor made Kate chuckle with his lips, like the spring breeze blew a pond of lake water. "So, are you here because of a date or?"

Ian's long tail sound made Kate wave his hand immediately, with a glorious smile on his lips, but a touch of pink slowly penetrated the corners of his eyes, like the peach blossoms in March. "No, no." Kate looked away and looked at Lance standing aside, "I came here to audition."

"Actor" Ian's voice rose gently, "It seems I asked a stupid question." The sentence immediately made Kate laugh again, "Then, how is your audition progressing. This gentleman is not an easy guy to get along with, right?" The following sentence obviously pointed to Lance, but Ian did not turn around and face Lance, but just turned slightly, curled his lips and signaled. "Lady"

Standing next to him, Lance suppressed the urge to roll his eyes, and still maintained a decent smile, with his hands behind his back, trying to act like an "outsider".

"Betkinsale, Kate Bekinsale." Kate felt that his ears were slightly hot, and immediately introduced himself. Inadvertently, she turned to look at Lance, as if she was inquiring about Lance's reaction to Ian's words, and then saw Lance's polite smile. Her smile slightly restrained, obviously she was scrupulous of Lance's face, but the curve of the corners of her mouth revealed her true feelings at the moment, "I hope the result is good, but the initiative is no longer in my hands, right?"

Ian raised his right hand and placed it on the heart of his left chest, and said politely, "Very good, Miss Beckinsale. I'm here to pray for you." He said he could be responsible, nor could he be impatient to declare his identity, and he always maintained an objective but pleasant rhythm of speaking.

Sure enough, Kate smiled again and nodded slightly, "Thank you." Under the gaze of Ian's eyes, she felt her cheeks were slightly hot. She touched her neck awkwardly, "Kate. Please call me Kate." After saying that, she saw Ian's peach blossom eyes rippling with spring light, and she had to adjust her breathing. Only then did she remember her original intention, "Sorry, I need to go to the bathroom to make up."

Ian politely moved away, nodded gentlemanly, then Kate first glanced at Lance, then nodded at Ian, and then quickly left.

After watching Kate's back disappear at the door, Lance's voice came from behind, "Date" Lance was ridiculing Ian's previous problem. Looking at the bad environment around now, it was obviously not the best place to date. Ian's problem was really too clumsy. "For God's sake, you can choose a more stupid excuse."

Ian turned around and curled her lips without mind, "Rookie, I'm testing her reaction." The reaction to the word "date" can show a lot of content. For example, Kate's reaction just now shows "I can see that she has no date now."

Lance stared at Ian in disbelief. But after thinking about it carefully, the smile on the corner of his mouth still couldn't help but leak out, and he shook his head gently, "So, what about Laura Glaudini?" If Lance remembers correctly, Ian has been dating Laura recently.

Ian showed a disgusting expression. He glanced at Lance with contempt, "That was two months ago." The subtext means that he has no date now. Looking at Lance's speechless expression, Ian asked with a smile, "Why, do you have any special thoughts about her?" Ian gently hit Lance's shoulder, "She is indeed a very attractive lady, isn't she?"

"So, if I'm interested in her," Lance raised his eyebrows. Kate was indeed a charming lady, and she was always the only British rose that Lance recognized. However, Lance had no interest in her, at least not the kind of interest between men and women.

Ian raised his right fist and expressed his determination, "Fair competition."

Lance rolled his eyes, ignored Ian, and took a step towards the office. Ian stood there and chuckled, and said loudly, "Do you have no courage to be scared now?"

Lance still had no intention of looking back, but raised his right hand, raised his big middle finger, and then pushed open the office door, isolating the noise behind him. Lance's arrival made the men in the office look up. Cole sat on the chair and looked at Lance calmly, but the tension and cramping on the faces of others revealed their true emotions.

Lance went around the back of the desk and looked through the information he had just left here, "So, let's continue to finish the audition." As if Terence and others had never appeared just now, he just went out to smoke a cigarette.

Cole breathed a sigh of relief, Lance's attitude showed that the negotiations between him and Terence just now did not come to a conclusion. At least on the surface, this was the case. Cole also realized that his time is very urgent and he must talk to Tom as soon as possible, otherwise there will be more variables in the situation. However, there is no way to worry about this matter. The most urgent thing is to audition in front of him. First of all, his actors must show enough strength to compete.

So, Cole also smiled, "Of course, why not?"

The audition went on very quickly, and in just twenty minutes, all the auditions were over. All the actors left the office, and Cole stayed to finish. He tried to keep his peace and asked tentatively, "So, how do you feel?"

Lance originally wanted to deal with Cole with official clichés, sayings like "waiting for news" and "I need to consider it again" can easily deal with the situation in front of me. But then I thought about it, no matter whether Cole can become his agent in the end, at least he has such an intention. Perhaps he should also show some sincerity today. Cooperation is always the case. Both parties need to think about the problem from an equal perspective, so that cooperation can be long-term.

So, Lance said, "As an agent or as a friend."

"Is there any difference?" Cole chuckled. Having said that, the relief between his eyebrows eased the tension.

Lance raised his hand, "I can see that the actors you choose have their own characteristics, are not very famous, have good basic skills, and have certain potential. Moreover, the actresses are eye-catching enough." Lance chuckled gently. Actresses always need to play roles that attract audiences' attention and create gimmicks, whether it is a vase or not, this is the current situation in Hollywood. "Even such actors cannot be picked on by Tom Cruise."

Cole smiled but admitted Lance's speculation. If Tom didn't stand on Shirley's side and made things difficult, there would be no problem with the list of actors.

"If I were a friend, I would tell you that some people performed well, but some people had a big gap. I would refer to the list of actors in the innovative artist agency and then make a decision." This is the truth, but I didn't say it all. As for who performed well and who were still not qualified, it depends on Cole's judgment. "If I were an agent, then I would tell you that I would not comment until our deal is completed."

The real core of "killing with a knife" is always Tom. Now the entire project must revolve around Tom, and persuading Tom is the top priority. This is also the deterrent force of "front-line actors".

In just two short sentences, but the amount of information was very large. Cole nodded and said with satisfaction, "The reason is very good." Then Cole stood up and said voluntarily.

After sending Cole and his group off, Albert finished his conversation with Ian and took the initiative to welcome him, "So, when will the shooting start to be started with a knife?" He had to obtain the charter before he could make an appointment with the municipal government to block the streets; he could rent a studio and prepare for the crew; he could arrange the subsequent work.

Ian smiled at Lance, raised his right hand, and a note was sandwiched between his index finger and middle finger. He lifted it gently, then put it in his pocket, turned around and walked towards the office on the other side, directing the staff to move the equipment of both offices in. Obviously, the note was Kate's phone number.

Lance relaxed slightly and withdrew his gaze. "There is no way to confirm for the moment. The list of actors is expected to be confirmed in the next few days. I will meet Tom once in two days." This is the real hard battle. First, we need to see the result of the conversation between Cole and Tom, but no matter whether Cole has agreed or not, Lance will still have to confront Tom head-on, "and then set the entire shooting schedule. In the past two days, you will first confirm the crew and then send the script, and the shooting meeting can be started."

After the explanation was completed, Lance was about to leave, but his steps stopped again, "By the way, contact Hayden. I need to hold a meeting on photography and lighting, so you can come here together." After thinking seriously, and making sure there was nothing else, Lance walked towards the office again.

However, when he opened the office door and saw that the simple decorations came into view, Lance realized that the most urgent task was to install all the decorations of the company. After a wave of uninvited guests, he made his mind feel a little overwhelmed. So Lance had to turn around and call the staff to get busy.

After all the busyness was over, everyone stayed in the company to enjoy a pizza meal. After the sign at the door was hung tomorrow, Chaos Pictures would have taken root in Century City. After returning home in the evening, Lance had time to read the actor information given to him by Terence.

A pile of information that looks very thick, but it is much less than expected. To be continued.
