When he arrived at the Western Paradise, he visited Amitabha Buddha. Amitabha Buddha asked Guanyin Bodhisattva to teach him. At that time, the earth was shaken, and the sky rained treasures and various auspicious signs appeared. After the Lotus Elephant King Buddha received the mantra, he saved all sentient beings, countless.

In the past life, before becoming a Buddha, the Buddha taught this mantra by the Lotus Elephant King Buddha. After becoming a Buddha, he also taught this mantra many times. However, the Bodhisattva who cleared the barriers asked for the teachings, but the Buddha said: "In a large city in India, Guanyin Bodhisattva was transformed into a layman. The Six-Syllable Great Mantra is a mantra of compassion for Guanyin Bodhisattva, and Samadhi is a right concentration and right feeling. It is said that there are three methods, all of which are perfect enlightenment, closeness and obedience, and the Tathagata of the Ten Directions, so that they become Buddhas. The Bodhisattvas of the Ten Directions, all kinds of conveniences, all the same and different things are based on the three kinds of undertakings. If they attain perfect enlightenment, they will attain perfect enlightenment. That is Samatha, Samatha (samadhi), and Zen.
