Chapter 16 Jiuyang gets it, it's that simple
"Hey, this Sanskrit word "Lingjia Sutra" originally contains Chinese annotations. Well, no, why is this mixed Chinese word "Nine Yang True Sutra" another? What's going on?"
Yin Zhiping looked at the "Nine Yang True Sutra" scriptures mixed in the Sanskrit scriptures of the "Lingxia Sutra", and was secretly happy, but pretended to be surprised and asked the truth knowingly.
Jue Yuan said: "It is true that there is indeed a "Nine Yang Sutra" written by Master Bodhidharma in the cracks in the Lankavatara Sutra. However, this "Nine Yang Sutra" is not a wonderful Buddhist scripture, but a method to teach people to strengthen their bodies and to cleanse their muscles. I think this was passed down by Master Bodhidharma himself, so I did it one by one. For more than ten years, I have been practicing diligently and have never had any diseases."
After a pause, he continued: "But this sutra only teaches people to maintain a body with color and appearance. This smelly skin capsule is not important. Although the sutra was written by Master Bodhidharma, it is actually the study of the small path of appearance, which is no more than the Buddhist ritual of the Lankavatara Sutra."
Yin Zhiping laughed secretly and felt that he was really confused, but he didn't point out that the "Nine Yang True Sutra" is actually the best internal skill in martial arts. However, if you want to say that the "Nine Yang True Sutra" was written by Bodhidharma himself, he could not agree with it.
Many years later, Jueyuan's disciple Zhang Sanfeng realized that Bodhidharma was a native of India, and even if he could write Chinese characters, he would have to be rough and simple. The "Nine Yang True Sutra" was excellent and foreigners would definitely not be able to write it, so it must have been written by later Middle-earth people. Most of them were monks in Shaolin Temple, who were written in the cracks of the Lankavata Sutra of the Indian characters under the name of Bodhidharma.
This is mentioned in the Legend of the Condor Heroes, which follows the Divine Condor Heroes in the Trilogy. Mr. Jin’s book Yin Zhiping has read through it, and he still remembers this verse in the Legend of the Condor Heroes.
However, at this time he did not point this point to Jueyuan, so as not to distinguish the nerd Jueyuan from him, and he could not tell him clearly, and said, "We also have many skills in strengthening our bodies, but we don't know which one is more sophisticated. I also want to learn the "Nine Yang True Sutra". Can Master Jueyuan be willing to give up?"
Jueyuan smiled and said, "It's just a learning of the small Taoist path, but it's not considered a love affair. Fellow Daoist Yin wants to learn, but please learn it."
"Then thank you, Master." Yin Zhiping thanked him, thinking that this honest egg is really easy to cheat. You can learn it if you don't steal or rob it. It's much easier than going to the ancient tomb to get the part of the "Nine Yin Sutra" engraved by Wang Chongyang. In order to enter the ancient tomb, he got into the waterway, and after entering, he accidentally stepped on several mechanisms. And it took him a lot of effort to find the entrance to the underground waterway.
Yin Zhiping then looked through and looked at a few pages, but found that the scriptures were mixed in the Sanskrit "Lingjia Sutra", which seemed very inconvenient, and he did not have the ability to remember them all. He probably had to read them seven or eight times before he could write them down. He immediately moved his heart and said to Jueyuan: "Master, this scriptures were mixed in the Sanskrit, which seemed very inconvenient. I wonder if I could copy this sutra alone? Then go back and practice slowly according to the instructions in the sutra."
Jueyuan said, "It's all right, Fellow Daoist Yin just copied it." After that, he got up and took the pen, ink, paper and ink for Yin Zhiping from the desk, and also ground the inkstone for Yin Zhiping.
"Good man!" Yin Zhiping couldn't help but sigh in his heart and thanked Jueyuan repeatedly.
Jueyuan saw that he wrote alone and copied it a little slowly, and said enthusiastically: "There are four volumes of this scripture. It is a bit slow to copy it by fellow Taoist Yin. Why don't you let the monk help you? Fellow Taoist Yin copied the first volume, and I will copy the second volume for you. We will do it at the same time, so we will get a lot faster."
"Great man!" Yin Zhiping sighed again in his heart, and couldn't help but thank him.
Jueyuan said a few words of politeness, got up and took a pen from the desk, took the second volume of the scriptures and opened them, spread the paper, dipped it in ink, and immediately started copying.
In addition to cleaning, preserving and supervising scriptures, the responsibilities of the Sutra Library also have the responsibility to copy scriptures. If there are any single treasure or any more difficult to preserve for a long time, they will copy a few more copies in case of the original misfortune and the loss of this scripture after it was lost.
Jueyuan often copied scriptures in the Sutra Library, so he practiced his skills early. When he copied, he wrote it like a flying pen and wrote it very quickly. He was also in a straight small regular script, with no erroneous words or missed words or smearing them.
On the other hand, Yin Zhiping rarely picks up writing. Moreover, he is a modern time traveler. Although he has the original Yin Zhiping's foundation, he is still very uncomfortable with using a brush and writes very slowly. So when Yin Zhiping finished copying a volume, Jueyuan had already copied all the remaining three volumes and had spare time to drink tea and rest there.
Yin Zhiping finally finished copying a volume, but Zhengjue was done. He wanted to put down his pen and rest before copying the next volume. When he looked up, he found that Jueyuan had already copied the remaining three volumes, and there was a stack of neat manuscripts in front of him. It was all in a well-decorated small regular script with beautiful brushwork. Ren Jueyuan not only wrote faster than him, but also wrote better than him.
Yin Zhiping was really ashamed of this. After thanking him, he praised Jueyuan's calligraphy again, but Jueyuan just said humbly.
After receiving the Nine Yang, Yin Zhiping was overjoyed. He carefully proofreaded the copied scriptures with the original text in the "Lingjia Sutra", and added several misunderstandings on the volume he copied. Then he chatted with Jueyuan for a while, and said goodbye to the copied "Nine Yang Sutra".
When Yin Zhiping arrived at the Sutra Pavilion, it was afternoon, and it was already evening. When he returned to the meditation room where he lived, it was already very dark. Yin Zhiping lit up the oil lamp and carefully studied the "Nine Yang Sutra" under the light.
After reading the "Nine Yang True Sutra" through, Yin Zhiping found that the "Nine Yang True Sutra" and the part of the "Nine Yin True Sutra" he obtained, as well as the Quanzhen School martial arts he learned, were quite inconsistent with some martial arts principles and the route of practicing.
He didn't know who wrote the "Nine Yang True Sutra", but since the scriptures were originally written by the Sanskrit text of the "Ling Jia Sutra" hidden in the Sutra Collection of Shaolin Temple, it is probably written by a monk who has reached the highest level of martial arts. Therefore, although the "Nine Yang True Sutra" contains many Taoist theories, its foundation is still the foundation of Buddhism. It is not as good as the "Nine Yin Jing Sutra", which was written by Huang Shang after reading the Taoist sect through Taoism, and was created by Wang Chongyang, and it was in the same lineage. Therefore, the martial arts principles of the two are similar, and they can be said to be complementary and helpful to each other after practicing.
Although the "Nine Yang True Sutra" and the martial arts he originally practiced were not incompatible with water and fire, they also had many conflicts. Yin Zhiping carefully studied and deduced the idea and found that if he practiced the "Nine Yang True Sutra" based on his current foundation, although there would be no problem for the time being, he would still be inseparable from internal forces in the future and would be at risk of becoming possessed by the demons. If he had to practice the "Nine Yang True Sutra", the best way was to first squander his skills, then change to the "Nine Yang True Sutra" and start from scratch.
"This "Nine Yang True Sutra" is a bit useless to me!" Yin Zhiping couldn't help but sigh in the end.
