Chapter 66: Repeating the old tricks, the reform of educational affairs

After Qiu Chuji's takeover ceremony, the martial arts people gathered on Zhongnan Mountain began to disperse one after another. However, Guo Jing, Bai Yuchan and others had not left for a while, and planned to linger for a few more days.

After the ceremony, after two more days, Yin Zhiping also felt relieved and no longer had to deal with many things. As Qiu Chuji's personal disciple and the first disciple of Quanzhen Sect, Yin Zhiping naturally couldn't do anything and patted his butt and left immediately. He planned to leave until after the 15th day of the first lunar month, he went down the mountain to Lin'an. Bai Yuchan returned to Wuyi and went along with him, and planned to go on the road with him at that time.

After the ceremony, many Li Mochou's enemies gathered to the ancient tomb, trying to seek revenge from Li Mochou, including Wu Santong and his son. Yin Zhiping and Guo Jing got the news and went to dissuade him. Only then did Xiaolongnu use the same trick again, driving the jade bee to stung these martial arts people to the head and run away in a panic. Afterwards, Yin Zhiping asked Xiaolongnu to detoxify them.

In fact, the toxicity of jade bees is not too great. If you are stung, twice or even three or four, you are not fatal. It is just that the pain is unbearable and it will take ten days and half a month to heal slowly. However, if you are stung for more than ten or twenty times, you cannot receive timely treatment, you will be in danger of life. If you are stung for fifty or sixty times, you may die immediately on the spot.

Another hidden weapon of the ancient tomb, Xiaolongnu, was to extract and temper the poison of the jade bee, and its toxicity was stronger than that of a single jade bee. The poison of a jade bee needle can be regarded as more than a dozen jade bee poisons, but even so, the person who hit the nails will not die immediately. There is a chance to rescue. In fact, it is not just the jade bee needle, but the poison of the ice bee silver needle passed down by Li Mochou is also the same. The original ice bee silver needle will not die immediately after being hit. The reason why Li Mochou's ice bee silver needle is so powerful that Li Mochou's ice bee silver needle was that Li Mochou later obtained the "Five Poisons Secret Books" of the Five Poisons Sect. He then refined and refined the more powerful poisons prepared. This made the ice bee silver needle extremely poisonous and famous.

Wu Santong and Li Mochou's enemies suffered a great loss in front of the ancient tomb, but they didn't even meet Li Mochou's face. It was also a pity that Yin Zhiping went to ask them for antidotes. After this incident, no one had the shame to bring them up to seek revenge, and most of them went down the mountain in shame.

Guo Jing and others stayed until the sixth day of the lunar month to say goodbye and leave. They wanted to rush back to Xiangyang before the Lantern Festival to celebrate the festival with Huang Rong. There was nothing wrong on the mountain, and Yin Zhiping asked Yang Guo to go back to Xiangyang with Guo Jing.

By the tenth day of the first lunar month, the martial arts people on Zhongnan Mountain had already gone 80% to 90%. Only a few were left but not leaving for a while.

After breakfast this day, Yin Zhiping brought a volume of manuscripts to Qiu Chuji's courtyard. He was Qiu Chuji's senior disciple, and he was very used to coming and going. He did not need a small Taoist boy who was guarding the gate to report to the court, so he went straight in. When he arrived at the quiet room where Deqiu Chuji was meditating and practicing, he saluted outside the door and said, "Master, disciple Yin Zhiping asked for a visit."

After a moment, Qiu Chuji's voice sounded from the room and said, "Zhiping, come in!"

Yin Zhiping responded and pushed the door open and went in. After entering the door, he saw Qiu Chuji sitting on a cushion and meditating, and he bowed again.

"Sit down." Qiu Chuji pointed his finger opposite him.

Yin Zhiping took one of the several futons placed in the corner and placed it opposite Qiu Chuji, and sat down cross-legged.

Qiu Chuji waited for him to sit down and asked, "Zhiping. What's the matter with you looking for a teacher?"

Yin Zhiping said: "I have written some suggestions on the academic affairs of this sect these days. I would like to ask the master to take a look and see if it is feasible?" After that, he took out the manuscript that was put in his sleeve and handed it over with both hands.

"Oh?" Qiu Chuji's face moved. He reached out to take it in surprise and expanded it to read it.

Yin Zhiping sat cross-legged across the face, waiting for Qiu Chuji to finish reading. The suggestions he wrote were actually thought of as early as Lin'an, but he did not write them out immediately to Ma Yu. Ma Yu was a mature and polite person. During the management of Quanzhen Sect, he focused on governing inaction and was not too directorial. He was actually a bit conservative. Yin Zhiping's suggestions had some major changes in the current structural organization of Quanzhen Sect, so he was afraid that Ma Yu would not accept it.

He originally planned to keep these ideas until he took over as the head sect and then implemented. But now that Ma Yu has passed away and Qiu Chuji has taken over, he thought that he might have to apply to Qiu Chuji to return to secular life after he has made some achievements in missionary work in the south, and he may not have the opportunity to become the head sect again. After considering a few days recently, he wrote it out and proposed it to Qiu Chuji. Although Qiu Chuji is old now, he is bold and brave, and he is still as bold as he was back then, and he is quite enterprising. Moreover, he has just taken over as the head sect, and it is the time when the new official takes office for three major reasons, so he also needs some big noise, so he took it out and believes that Qiu Chuji's opportunity will be accepted.

His suggestions mainly include two aspects: one is to clarify hierarchical positions in the church, so that the management of the Quanzhen religion is more compact and organized; the other is to formally divide the diocese and send a supervisory manager and a second and third deputy position in each diocese to better manage the diocese and integrate diocese resources.

The current structure and organization of Quanzhen Sect is actually quite loose, and there is no clear division of positions except for some positions such as the chief sect and the supervisory institute. Speaking of which generation this is the disciple, and which generation that is the disciple. The disciples below call Qiu Chuji and other five sons, all of whom are called masters and elders. They have to think about whether the relationship is called the Grand Master or the Grand Master Uncle, which is quite confusing.

Yin Zhiping suggested that Liu Chuxuan, the second-generation disciple who is now the same as Qiu Chuji, be named elders. The seven sons of Quanzhen have five existing ones. In addition to Qiu Chuji, there are also four others, including Liu Chuxuan, Wang Chuyi, Hao Datong, and Sun Buyi.

Yin Zhiping suggested that Liu Chuxuan be appointed as the elder of the Seal. All seals in the tutors shall be given to other places to receive seals. When even the tutors are missing, the elder of the Seal will be in charge of the Seal and will temporarily take the post of the Seal. When the tutors take over, the elder of the Seal will be given the seal at the ceremony of taking over the post.

Wang Chuyi is the elder who teaches merits and is responsible for the teaching of Chinese classics and martial arts.

As the elder of the Taoist protector, Hao Datong is responsible for protecting the Taoist tradition and the inheritance of his disciples. When new disciples enter, they must be evaluated by the elder of the Taoist protector to see if his mind is qualified and whether he can pass on the martial arts and Taoism of Quanzhen Sect.

Sun Buer is a law enforcement elder, responsible for the precepts and handling the rewards and punishments of disciples in the religion.

These four people are the four elders of Quanzhen Sect. Moreover, the positions of these four elders have been passed down from generation to generation and remain unchanged. If there are still elders who have been granted in the future, they are only ordinary elders, with a lower position than the four elders. However, all elders who have been granted are entitled to participate in the discussions in the sect. When the head of the sect encounters major matters, he will ask the elders to discuss and refer to everyone's opinions.

Zhou Botong is Wang Chongyang's junior brother and is named the Supreme Elder. Currently, he is the most respected in Quanzhen Sect, but he does not receive a real position.

Below the elders, there are deacons who manage other specific affairs, mainly held by the current three generations of disciples. If there is insufficient manpower, the four generations of disciples will be supplemented by those who can serve.

The ordinary disciples below are also divided into formal disciples and registered disciples. Formal disciples are formally introduced to become disciples. Register disciples have not yet become disciples, but only have a name. Whether they can be formally introduced depends on whether they are practicing hard and their nature, and are evaluated by the elders of the Taoist Guard. Of course, this should be distinguished from the original monk disciples and lay disciples.

Yin Zhiping's current position of the first disciple has not changed, but he changed his name and used the word "disciple" to directly call him the first. The one who was granted the first seat is the successor of the next head sect. The position of the first seat is under the head sect and the elders, and above the deacons, but his power is the same as that of ordinary elders, and he also has the right to participate in the discussion. Moreover, when the head sect is not present, he has the right to deal with all matters in the sect at a cheap price.

Yin Zhiping suggested that Bai Yuchan be appointed as the leader, to distinguish it from his first seat, it can be called the leader of the Southern Sect. Later, the Southern Sect would act as the leader, and take charge of all matters. Later, the Southern Sect had been granted the title of elder, but they were just ordinary elders, assisting the Southern Sect to manage all matters of the Southern Sect. There should be no other four elders, including the seal, the transmission of merit, the protection of the Tao, and the law enforcement.

The above is Yin Zhiping’s suggestion on clarifying the position level. From top to bottom, there are the Supreme Elder, the head of the army, the four elders, ordinary elders, the head, the deacon, the formal disciple, and the registered disciple. Although the Supreme Elder has the highest position, they do not receive real positions. They are just a noble position and do not care about the affairs. As a manager, the highest position is naturally the head of the army.

The second aspect of diocese division is to formally clarify the diocese. Although there were regional names such as Hebei and Shandong in Quanzhen Sect, the diocese were not formal, and the division was not clear. In a large area, there was no leader who was in charge of all affairs, and the branches and temples in various places were still in charge of their affairs. In this way, it would be very complicated to handle the academic affairs of a large area, and the branches and temples in various places were not affiliated with each other, so the efficiency of doing things was not high.

Just like Yin Zhiping had previously transferred some Quanzhen disciples from Shandong diocese to go south to support him in the southern missionary, the branches and temples in various parts of Shandong had to negotiate and discuss each other for a long time, and it was very inefficient to delay.

Yin Zhiping suggested that the diocese be divided formally and clearly, each diocese had one general deacon, which was the same as an ordinary elder in the church, with two or three deputy under it. For convenience of management, the large diocese could also be divided into smaller dioceses, depending on the actual situation. In terms of the diocese, Yin Zhiping was lazy to use his brain, so he directly set it based on the areas of the provinces in his previous life.

Yin Zhiping paid attention to the change of Qiu Chuji's expression. When he saw Qiu Chuji nodding from time to time, he couldn't help but feel happy in his heart: "It seems that it is probably possible to pass!" (To be continued...)
