Chapter 5 Linjiang Immortal Dies A Year Before Noticing

Yin Zhiping left the cave, looked at the valley in front of him, then looked back at the deep cave behind him, patted his forehead lightly, and turned around and left.

Everything he experienced today, he felt like he was in a dream, and he still couldn't believe it was really happened. In the legend of the goddess of Wushan, the goddess that Song Yu and King Xiang of Chu seemed to be just in a dream.

When he came before, he was confused by the goddess with the magic of ** and did not remember the road. At this time, he was carefully memorizing the road while leaving the valley. Maybe he would come back again. If he couldn't find a place because he couldn't remember the road, he would be embarrassed.

Outside the valley, he lightly drew a towering tree in the woods, climbed to the highest point and looked around, looking at where he and Li Mochou were before. He looked around carefully and then found it briefly.

He was afraid that he would not see the road clearly and became confused. He simply used his light skills and jumped from one big tree to another. He was like a spirit ape and walked through the treetops. While walking, he listened carefully.

In the goddess's cave, when the goddess showed her magic, he saw Li Mochou calling his name in the mirror to look for him, so he hoped to hear Li Mochou's shouting so that he could rush over. But if you listen carefully, there were wind, birds, apes, and even waves rushing by the Yangtze River at the foot of the mountain in the distance, but you couldn't hear any human voices.

The location of the goddess' cave is actually not too far from where he and Li Mochou were originally located, but the road is difficult to walk, and it is winding around. The straight line distance is less than ten miles away.

Yin Zhiping did not look for a way downstairs at this time, but instead directly carried out his light skills and ran past the top of the tree. In addition, he rushed to the road with light skills, and his speed was much faster. Not long after, he found the location where he and Li Mochou were before.

He remembered that there was a prominent cliff, and there was a big maple tree on the cliff. It was a relatively obvious sign. But when he got closer, he suddenly stopped and looked astonished on his face.

There is indeed a cliff with a big maple tree there, but for some reason, a simple bamboo building was built here. The bamboos in the bamboo building have dried yellow. Obviously, they are not newly built.

Yin Zhiping thought he had found the wrong place. This place was just a similarity. But if you carefully distinguish it, it was indeed good. But why a bamboo building suddenly appeared is hard to explain. Even if someone immediately built it after he left, it would not be so fast.

There is a circle of bamboo buildings. There is also a circle of half-man-high fences surrounded by bamboos as a wall, and a small courtyard is surrounded. A small piece of land has been reclaimed in the courtyard and seasonal fresh vegetables are planted. These things are even less likely to be built so quickly.

Yin Zhiping was stunned for a long time before taking a deep breath and slowly walked towards the bamboo building.

When he walked to the gate of the courtyard, which was still made of bamboo, he suddenly saw a door in the bamboo building inside open, and a woman in coarse cloth walked out.

The woman looked in her forties, with a piece of blue cloth covering her head, with a slightly fat figure, a black complexion, and an ordinary appearance, but she looked quite thick. However, there was a scar on the right side of her face that was straight from the corner of her eyes to the corner of her mouth, which looked quite ferocious and terrifying. It added a lot of fierceness to her. The woman was holding a hoe in her hand, and it seemed that she was going to work in the field.

Naturally, Yin Zhiping, the woman, was not aware of it at all, and she couldn't help but think of it strange. There was a person above the bamboo gate, which could block the figure of a person. He was afraid that the woman would not see it. He turned outside the bamboo fence, raised his left palm with his thumb on his ring finger in front of his chest, performed a Taoist bow, and greeted him: "I'm asking for it, sister-in-law."

The woman turned her head and looked at her. After seeing his appearance, she suddenly looked surprised and shouted, "Wait a minute." She threw down the hoe in her hand and hurried back to the bamboo building.

Yin Zhiping was even more strange, and his eyes were full of confusion.

In a moment, the woman ran out of the bamboo building, holding a scroll in her hand. She rushed to Yin Zhiping three or four steps away, facing Yin Zhiping across the fence, then raised her hand, spread the scroll, took a closer look at Yin Zhiping, and then looked at the scroll again, as if comparing with the drawings on the painting.

"Is it me in this painting?" Yin Zhiping said intimately, and he became even more confused. He asked again: "This sister-in-law..."

Before he finished speaking, the woman shouted in surprise: "It's true." Then she stared at Yin Zhiping and said: "You are Master Yin Zhiping?" Although there was still a tone of inquiries in her words, she was already very sure.

Yin Zhiping said: "It's just that I'm here, I wonder how my sister-in-law knows me?"

"Look." The woman turned the painting in her hand happily, facing Yin Zhiping, and asked him to watch it.

When Yin Zhiping looked at it, he found that the painting was indeed him. He described it in detail with fine brushwork and was very similar. In the painting, he stood on the front, with a starry man in feather clothes, long eyebrows and handsome eyes, one hand behind him, and the other hand holding the hilt of the long sword at his waist, and a slightly smile on his face. He seemed modest and polite, and it seemed that he was a righteous man.

After looking closer, Yin Zhiping found that there were a few lines of words inscribed in the upper right corner of the painting. As soon as he looked, he recognized that it was Li Mochou's handwriting. Obviously, this painting was also written by Li Mochou.

Looking at those lines of words, it is a poem. The title of the ci card is "Linjiangxian". The poem says: "I first met the head of Xunyang River, and I met under the sycamore tree. I once hated the bones and the flying dust. Dongting Junshan Tower, the thoughts of life and death slightly changed. The sails of the river go west, the peach blossoms of the blue sea come east. My heart contracts to practice the Jade Girl Sword. The dream of Wushan is **, and the song ends and no one sees it."

This poem describes the matter between him and Li Mochou. He and Li Mochou first met on the bank of the Yangtze River. Although they didn't know where it was, they were indeed near Xunyang. Later, he kept chasing Li Mochou. When Li Mochou took his qualities and escaped, he quietly followed him and chased under a sycamore tree.

"I once hated the bones that were crushed and the dust." Li Mochou said that he wanted to crush his bones and the dust.

The two sentences "Dongting Junshan Tower, the thoughts of life and death slightly change" refer to what happened on Dongting Junshan Mountain. Yin Zhiping thought about it carefully and guessed that it was probably that morning when he entered the state of meditation and practiced martial arts. Li Mochou was just about to break in, but he did not take the opportunity to be detrimental to him.

He woke up later and asked Li Mochou if he had any idea of taking the opportunity to be unfavorable to him, but Li Mochou denied it at the time. Now, from these two sentences, Li Mochou had thoughts that were unfavorable to him at that time, and even wanted to kill him, and had the chance to succeed, but Li Mochou did not take action. As for the reason, the sentence "The thought of life and death slightly changed", which should mean that when Li Mochou was in the hands of his life and death, Li Mochou's concept of him changed slightly, so he did not kill him immediately.

The sentences in the next verse are also better understood. "Set sails to the west of the river. Peach blossoms from the blue sea come to the east". These two sentences refer to the incident of Huang Yaoshi, the Eastern Evil on the Yangtze River. "The Heart Contract Practice the Jade Girl Sword" means that they practice the Jade Girl Suxin Sword together. "Wushan Dream**, the song ends and no one sees it" means that they meet the Wushan Goddess here, but after Li Mochou wakes up, he no longer sees it. Wushan ** originally refers to Wushan Goddess, and the word "dream" also shows that Li Mochou is confused about this matter and feels like he is in a dream.

In other people's eyes, this poem may be a little confused, and I don't know what the words refer to and what they mean. But in the eyes of Yin Zhiping, the person involved, it is naturally clear at a glance and can be understood as soon as he thinks. After reading it silently, Yin Zhiping couldn't help but sigh in his heart.

"It's you?" the woman asked with a smile, interrupting Yin Zhiping's sigh and a subtle state of mind that was immersed in.

"Yes." After coming to his senses, Yin Zhiping responded with a smile and asked, "I wonder where Fellow Daoist Li Mochou is?"

The woman took back the picture and said, "Gu Li went to the mountain to look for you. She has been looking for you for a whole year. Why are you back now?"

"One year?" Yin Zhiping couldn't help but screamed in shock, widened his eyes and opened his mouth wide.

The woman said in a complaining tone: "Yes, it's been a year. Where have you been, Master Yin? But I'll ask Dao Nu Li to find him and wait for him!"

"Did you say that it's been a year?" Yin Zhiping ignored her complaints and stared at her and asked again, but he still couldn't believe it.

The woman said, "Isn't it! Last year was the first year of Jiaxi, and this year was the second year of Jiaxi. If you don't believe it, go downstairs to the mountain and ask someone. Will I still lie to you?"

Yin Zhiping looked at the bamboo building and the yard in the courtyard again, and thought to himself: "Yes, if it weren't for a year, how could these be built in a short time. In the mythological stories I have seen before, the time between gods and mortals is unequal. "Journey to the West" often says it is 'one day in the sky and one year in the earth'; I still remember a story that says someone met an immortal by chance and followed the immortal to practice in the mountains, but when he came out of the mountain and came back, it was 'one day in the mountains, and the world has been in the world for a thousand years'. His wife and family have all died, and their descendants have reproduced for several generations."

"I went to her cave with the goddess, and even a night has not passed, at most a few hours. I didn't expect that this world has passed a year. Alas, it's really right that I didn't stay and roll the bed sheets with the goddess. If I really rolled out the bed sheets and stayed for another night, there would be many years in this world. Maybe if I came out, Li Mochou would become an old woman."

"The goddess gave me a ten-year agreement. Is this a bit cheating? I just came out and haven't happened yet. In a moment, a year passed. It's a scam!"

Yin Zhiping felt helpless and sighed, but at the same time, he never expected that Li Mochou would wait for him here for a year, and it seemed that he would go out to find him in the mountains every day. This was really a deep affection.

He also said to himself: "It may be that saying that only when something is lost can you cherish it and discover the importance of that thing to you. This is probably the case with Li Mochou!"
