Chapter 1 One Eye of the Stone Man(1/2)

The Yellow River is the second longest river in China and the fifth largest longest river in the world. It originates from Kariqu on the northern foot of the Bayankala Mountains on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in Qinghai Province. It flows east into the Bohai Sea, with a total length of about 5,464 kilometers. This river flows in the shape of a "ji" is one of the most important birthplaces of the Chinese nation, and the Chinese call it the "mother river".

In the long history of 5,000 years, countless stories have been staged on both sides of the Yellow River, including heroes and dead bones, and countless joys and sorrows have been buried under the long yellow sand.

There are seven or eight tents tied in some deserted place, and this is an archaeological team.

It was already deep and dark, and the clouds in the sky were extremely low, and there was no wind at all.

"Grandma, this ghost weather!"

Luo Tian walked out of the tent and poured a bottle of gasoline in his hand onto the pile of firewood. When the lighter rose, the fire rose into the sky with a "huh".

As it got dark today, Luo Tian felt something was wrong. He always felt that something was going to happen. He couldn't sit still in the stuffy tent, so he could just come out.

After sitting down, Luo Tian pulled out a cold dagger from the side of his calves, and pried open a canned lunch meat in his hand and started eating it.

“It looks delicious.”

A faint fragrance came from behind, and Luo Tian knew that it was Fang Ru who came.

Luo Tian has learned some information about Fang Ru. At the age of 25 or 26, she is a history professor at Guanghai University who has studied. She is cheerful and generous. She graduated from Beijing University at the age of 20 and studied in the United States after graduating from the master's degree from Beijing University. She only took three years to get her doctorate from Harvard. She is definitely a not simple person. In this archaeological team, she is the deputy captain. Although there is a group leader on it, she is still responsible for most of the matters.

"Lunch meat, why not?"

While saying that, Luo Tian put a slice of lunch meat into his mouth. Under the fire, the dagger flashed with a star-like cold light.

"Okay, let's have a piece."

Fang Ru nodded and took out a small bottle of wine from her pocket.

Put the cut lunch meat on the tip of the knife and roast it on the fire, then stretched out to Fang Ru and said, "It's a little bit hot."

Fang Ru opened her mouth and bit off the steaming lunch meat, as if she didn't see the cold tip of the knife.

"Huh~~~~ Not bad! Very good! Come on, take a sip."

Fang Ru handed the bottle of wine in her hand to Luo Tian. Luo Tian was not polite, so she took it over and took a big sip.

"Oh, this wine is strong, pure vodka."

Luo Tian looked at Fang Ru in surprise. Not many women bring wine, let alone beauties like her.

The eyebrows are like willow leaves, watery eyes, the bridge of the nose is as straight as a mountain, the corners of the mouth are slightly raised, and the face is as delicate as the most beautiful porcelain in the world.

Because of work, I was wearing a wide denim suit, but I still outlined a round and round arc on my chest. Even if I was 1.7 meters tall, I showed amazing slender legs and perky buttocks. I was 26 or 7 years old and was even more charming. Many times, Luo Tian felt that how could a woman like Fang Ru come to such a wilderness to do archaeology?

"Why, you men can drink and eat meat in big mouthfuls?"

Luo Tian smiled and said nothing. He took a sip of the wine and handed the bottle back to Fang Ru. Fang Ru didn't mind that Luo Tian was drinking in the bottle just now, and also took a sip.

"Gu Fei said you were a special forces soldier?"

Fang Ru could see that Luo Tian was not old, and might even be one or two years younger than him, about 1.85 meters tall, and was as strong as a leopard:

Under the flashing fire, the naked upper body's muscles are clearly lined, with shoulders like mountains, and under the wide chest muscles are eight neatly arranged abdominal muscles. Then they suddenly narrow, and the whole upper body appears a perfect inverted triangle. In addition, it is strong and powerful, and the arms that bulge outwards from time to time, which are bulging with obvious biceps, thick eyebrows and big eyes, and a clear contoured face, and the whole person is full of absolute male charm.

Such a man will make women feel powerful and safe. Every time he sees Luo Tianfangru, he can't help but take a look.

This time, the archaeology entered the wilderness far away from the crowd, so for safety reasons, he hired a bodyguard. Luo Tian was introduced by Fang Ru's best friend Gu Fei. Gu Fei only used one sentence to describe it: This kid is definitely a good killer.

The facts proved that Gu Fei's words were not wrong at all. Three days ago, more than a dozen people who came out of nowhere rushed to the archaeological team to grab things. Many of them were carrying gunpowder guns, but they were broken up by Luo Tian with a dagger.

Fang Ru still remembers Luo Tian’s avoidance move when facing those gunpowder guns was like a spirit snake. The opponent couldn’t hit the target at a distance of only a few seconds. In the end, Luo Tian put the dagger on the neck of the head who was hiding in the end!

"Well, it used to be."

Luo Tian nodded gently, and a silent expression appeared in his eyes.

"What are the scars on your body?"

Fang Ru did not notice Luo Tian's abnormal expression. She shook the wine bottle and found that it was empty. She raised her hand and threw it out, hitting the ground with a "bang". She noticed that Luo Tian had more than a dozen horizontal, vertical, round or flat scars on her body.

"Nothing, it's just some ordinary scars."

Luo Tian couldn't help but feel a little lost. When he was eighteen years old, he was admitted to Guanghai University and responded to the call to join the army. Because he liked sports since he was a child and had excellent physical fitness, he was selected into the special forces brigade one year after joining the army. After two years of hell-like training, he became a top presence and defeated countless powerful players in the Southeast Military Region Competition. After the next 18 outings to perform special tasks, he was full of glory. He even began to look forward to becoming a general in the future. However, on a vacation half a year ago, he met a person teasing a girl. When he saw injustice, he naturally drew his sword and helped him and gave him a lesson. However, he did not expect that the person who was beaten up by himself was the son of a division commander of the military region.

After this incident, not only was his dream of General Xingchao shattered, but he was forced to retire from the army and was expelled from the school, and he had no student status.

Luo Tian never regretted beating the division commander's son. The only thing he felt sorry for was his parents. If they knew that they had been swept out by the army, they would definitely be very sad.

In order not to let the parents at home discover this, Luo Tian became a bodyguard and desperately took on the task so that he could get enough money he sent when he was still in the army and sent it back.

Although Luo Tian's eyes only flashed with sadness, Fang Ru still noticed that she always thought Luo Tian was a sunny boy, and being a soldier or a bodyguard was just a greedy life for excitement, but now it seems that this is not the case.

For some reason, Fang Ru suddenly felt sour in her heart, and even felt like she wanted to hold Luo Tian in her arms to comfort her - the young man in front of her must have experienced some difficult things, but even so, it was still optimistic. It was not that easy to do this, but it was precisely because of this that it made people even more heartbreaking.

Fang Ru did not ask any further. She could see that Luo Tian didn't want to talk about this matter, so she changed the subject:

"The work here will be over soon, and it will take another month."

"Professor Fang, what exactly are you looking for?"

Putting the last piece of lunch meat into his mouth, Luo Tian threw the empty can into the fire.

Maybe after drinking a little wine, Fang Ru was very happy tonight. She first pulled the wood in the fire with a stick, and then said:

"'Don't tell the stone man that one eye can stir up the Yellow River and the world', have you heard this sentence?"

"I know, when I was studying, it was said in the history textbook that there was a TV series that had performed this story before, which was about the Hongwu Rebellion in the late Yuan Dynasty."

Nodded, Fang Ru said: "In the late Yuan Dynasty, natural disasters were not in trouble. A folk song circulated everywhere: 'Don't say that stone people have one eye to provoke the Yellow River to rebel the world'. In 1351, the imperial court forced the civil servants from all over the country to repair the Yellow River where the broken. When the civil servants were digging the river, they found a one-eyed stone man in the mud. So in May of the same year, Han Shantong and Liu Futong gathered 3,000 people at the Bailu (Road) Village in Yongnian, killed the white horses, and the black cows set up an alliance to revolt, and used the red scarf as the name. This is the famous Red scarf uprising in history."

"That's right, that's the case."

Luo Tian nodded and continued, "Han Shantong is from the White Lotus Sect, he spread the folk songs, and he buried the stone people in advance."

"This is indeed written in history books, but I think the real situation of this uprising is not that simple. I think this uprising was done by a wizard. In a sense, it was an attempt by a wizard to seize the power of the world. Han Shantong is a man who mastered witchcraft. The stone man was a witch tool he used to curse the Yuan Dynasty and delude others to rebel with him."

"How is this possible?"

Luo Tian suddenly looked at Fang Ru, this was really incredible.

"To understand this problem, let's first look at how the White Lotus Sect came about. It originated from a branch of Buddhism in the Southern Song Dynasty. It worships Maitreya Buddha. It is legendary founded by Mao Ziyuan in the third year of Shaoxing of Emperor Gaozong of Song Dynasty. Because the believers are careful in green onion milk, do not kill or drink alcohol, they are also called Bailiancai. Later, it gradually evolved into a civil society organization, the White Lotus Sect, which is the most mysterious religion in history."

"If you study history, you will find that whenever a certain sect is uprising, the leaders often make prophetic folk songs to incite the passion of the lower classes, or use witchcraft as a means to attract people into the religion. Spells and spells are tools to maintain organization, and the same is true for the White Lotus Sect. Therefore, most of the famous leaders of the White Lotus Sect in history were wizards. For example, in Volume 6 of "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio", the White Lotus leader Xu Hongru, who obtained the Left Taoist Book and could fight ghosts and gods. In Volume 8 of "Xing Ziyi", Yang learned the Left Taoist art from the White Lotus, and could fly on wooden kites. Volume 3 of "Yetan Suilu" wrote that the White Lotus Taoist "can climb clouds and make fog, call rain and wind, and call gods and fight ghosts, and other techniques, which are actually witchcraft."

"Han Shantong's grandfather was a native of the White Lotus Sect. He set up an altar to preach and treated his illness. He once lived in Luancheng, Zhaozhou. He was exiled to Yongnian County, Guangping for burning incense to deceive everyone. These are all information that can be verified. How could Han Shantong, who was born in such a wizard family, not a wizard?"

Fang Ru became more and more excited as she spoke. The wine she had just drunk was slowly working. A hint of blush appeared on her pretty face, and her charming eyes made Luo Tianxin shudder.

"This... do you mean that the demise of the Yuan Dynasty was cursed by Han Shantong's witchcraft?"

Fang Ru's charm at this time was really amazing. Luo Tian finally forced himself to take back his gaze. But he still couldn't believe this - isn't witchcraft feudal superstition? With such great energy, can a dynasty be cursed to perish?

"There is no such great energy. After all, Han Shantong failed in the end. But why can one-eyed stone man make countless people crazy? Traditional historical research believes that this is the reason why social contradictions are extremely sharp, but I don't think so. I think this uprising at the end of the Yuan Dynasty is related to witchcraft. The wizard Han Shantong used witchcraft to deceive civilians and eventually revolt. Witchcraft has reached a key role in this uprising. I want to use this research to unveil the mystery of witchcraft."

Luo Tian was startled and blurted out, "Ah? What do you mean is that we are coming here to find the stone man with only one eye?"

"Yes, I'm here to find this stone man - this stone man is the key to the entire uprising, a witchcraft that uses witchcraft, so I must find it, and I know it is nearby!"

“Nearly?”

Luo Tian couldn't help but look around and found that it was pitch black outside the fire and there was nothing to see.

“Yes, it’s nearby!”

Fang Ru waved her hand vigorously, as if to emphasize that she was right.

"You seem to be able to communicate with others in this way. Are you a wizard?"

Fang Ru smiled and said, "Of course I am not a wizard, I have a basis for saying this."

"Han Shantong was arrested and killed after the uprising. He had a son named Han Liner fled to Wu'an with his mother. Later, Liu Futong took Han Liner to Bozhou and made him the emperor, known as Xiao Ming King, and his country was named Da Song, and later established his capital in Anfeng. During this period, although Han Liner was the emperor, his real power was controlled by Liu Futong. Anfeng was besieged by Zhang Shicheng's general Lu Zhen. Han Liner was rescued by Zhu Yuanzhang, who was nominally under the Song Dynasty regime, and settled in Chuzhou. Since then, Zhu Yuanzhang sent Liao Yongzhong to Yingtian, which is now Nanjing, Jiangsu. When he passed through Guabu, he was sunk in the river."

"Some of the information I have collected shows that the stone man from the uprising was always carried by Han Lin'er. Over the past few months, our archaeology has actually been carried out along the route he had been active in that year. Now it is almost time to reach Nan Kualaport, so I said that I will find the stone man soon."

After thrusting the fire, a "pop" fire rose into the sky, and a cluster of sparks flew up. Fang Ru said, "I must find it!"

"Oh, okay."

Luo Tian was a little distracted by Fang Ru's statement. Regardless of whether her point of view was correct or not, it was not easy to find a stone man from 800 years ago on the vast land.

"By the way, what's hanging around your neck? I haven't seen you wear it before."

There was a sign hanging around Fang Ru's neck that looked like stones but not stones but not woods. I met every day in the past few months, and Luo Tian had never noticed Fang Ru had worn this thing.

"You are talking about this thing. This was dug out during the daytime archaeology. It should not be an antique. I put it on it when I looked good."

Fang Ru had long noticed that Luo Tian stared at her chest from time to time. She thought she was attracted by her proud figure, but she didn't expect that this was the case. She didn't know how to describe her mood at this time: on the one hand, she was very happy that Luo Tian was not lustful, but on the other hand, she was angrily wondering if her figure was not good, and she was not as good as a brand that was so dark?

"Well, yes, can I take a look?"

I don’t know why Luo Tian thought it was very special since he saw this brand.

"Okay...you..."

Fang Ru was shocked. Before she could finish her words, Luo Tian reached out her hand.

Luo Tian was also stunned. When he reached out, he just wanted to take the sign over, but he didn't expect that the sign was hung on Fang Ru's chest. While his hand grabbed the sign, he also pressed Fang Ru's chest.

Soft and hard, full of amazing elasticity.

"I won't take it away!"

Fang Ru's pretty face turned red, as if she was about to drip bleeding.
