The third chapter talks harmoniously

In the afternoon of the same day, Li Jianhui led Zhou Jiayi, Liu Xiaoyan, Yang Chengbin, Wang Haichuan, Du Ningxue, Zhou Bingqian and other senior officials to the Johor State Government.

As the actual person in charge of government affairs in Johor, Zhang Zhengwen also led many heads of government departments in Johor to warmly welcome Li Jianhui and his party.

I don’t know whether it is because of the relatively high proportion of Chinese in Johor, or because of the active promotion behind the scenes led by the Tung Wah Association and the Nanyang Association in recent years. Among the more than ten ministers of various departments here today, nearly two-thirds are Chinese.

Seeing this, Li Jianhui was in a particularly happy mood, and his interactions with Zhang Zhengwen became more intimate.

When talking about the development of Johor, especially the city of Johor Bahru where the capital is located, Li Jianhui mentioned that it is more about inclusiveness.

Aspiring to develop Johor Bahru into a world-class metropolis, we not only look at the economy, but also need to look at culture, education, beliefs, etc.

Especially when it comes to culture and beliefs, Johor Bahru can only become an international metropolis if it tolerates various cultures and beliefs.

In this regard, Li Jianhui also focused on Chinese culture, which has shown great tolerance for thousands of years, and there are many experiences worth learning from it.

As a member of the Pro-Donghua Association, Zhang Zhengwen is quite clear about some of the ideas of the Donghua Association.

Therefore, after Li Jianhui finished speaking, he said: "Due to the development and ethnic ratio of our state in Johor over the years, the proportion of children enrolled in Chinese-medium schools in the first grade of primary schools in Johor last year was as high as 72%.

Since our Johor state, especially our Chinese-owned enterprises in Johor Bahru, are leading enterprises in various industries, we have also set off a Chinese craze. Many state residents spontaneously learn Chinese, and the proportion of Johor state residents who can speak Chinese continues to increase.

Mr. Lee also knows that as a state under the Federation of Malay, Johor has relatively independent judicial power under the framework of the federal constitution.

Recently, we are communicating with state legislators to make Chinese the official main language of our state in Johor, and actively support state universities to change their teaching to mainly Chinese."

Although Li Jianhui is aware that there are many problems here, and although the proportion of Chinese in Johor is relatively high, many shops and corporate signs in various streets in Johor Bahru are now in traditional Chinese, and many conversations on the road are also in Mandarin or Cantonese.

However, there are still various difficulties faced by the establishment of indigenous forces. In the past, Xingzhou was a typical example.

However, Li Jianhui also expressed his support for this. He also hoped to use this to see the reaction of the indigenous forces, which would also provide a direction for the future layout of the Tung Wah Association.

When talking about the migrant population, Li Jianhui hopes that the state government can relax some policies. If Johor Bahru wants to build an international metropolis, a large number of people will need to settle permanently.

Not to mention that the urban permanent population is compared with that of Xiangjiang, but it must be at least over five million. Although Johor Bahru has developed rapidly in recent years, the urban permanent population has only just exceeded 1.5 million, which is still a considerable gap from 5 million.

Li Jianhui's words made the top officials of the state government jump in their hearts. It is somewhat unimaginable to know that the current Malay population is less than 20 million, and the permanent population of a Johor Bahru city will reach 5 million.

Fortunately, everyone has seen a lot of the world, and they also know the power of the Xinjian Clan and even the Donghua Association. As long as they dare to give policies and use the methods of the Donghua Association, maybe within five years, Johor Bahru City can be transformed.

The district's permanent population has soared to more than five million.

The heads of the departments present today basically belong to Zhang Zhengwen's group. To be able to rise to the top, the support from the Xin Jian group is indispensable. Therefore, they responded immediately to Li Jianhui's proposal.

As long as you are not a fugitive from any country or region and have a work contract of more than three years in Johor, you can settle in Johor.

As for those who come to invest, as long as they exceed one million Hong Kong dollars, they can settle directly.

Zhang Zhengwen also knows that the Xinjian Clan is closely related to 14K, and there is a large population in the north. Regardless of formal channels or some other channels, as long as restrictions are relaxed here, it will not be a problem to attract hundreds of thousands or millions of people.

The key is that some people are not good enough, and a large number of industries are needed to support it. This aspect needs to be led by the Xinjian Department and the Donghua Association.

Li Jianhui also showed great sincerity, saying that Xinhui Fund will establish a semiconductor industrial park in Johor Bahru, including its major groups Huahong, Huaxin, Jinghua, and Bluecore, which will establish R&D centers and production bases there.

It is expected to provide more than 100,000 jobs.

It will be expanded based on the current Xinjian University Johor Bahru campus, and plans to change its name to Xinhui University and become a private university in Johor Bahru. We hope the state government will approve it in this regard.

In addition, Xinjian Medical Group will also invest in the construction of Xinjian Hospital, and plans to become one of the top hospitals in Johor and even Malaysia within ten years.

The biggest move is that the banks under the Xinjian Department will increase their support for the entrepreneurship of Johor Bahru citizens and help Johor Bahru enterprises become bigger and stronger.

In addition, three major banks, Nanlong Bank, Xinjian Bank and Ka Wah Bank, jointly funded and cooperated with Nanlong University and Xinhui University to establish a college student entrepreneurship incubation park.

Li Jianhui even mentioned the slogan of mass entrepreneurship and innovation in his previous life.

All these actions have one purpose, which is to increase the number of jobs in Johor Bahru City and accommodate more people to live in Johor Bahru City permanently.

The top officials of the state government are very happy with Li Jianhui's actions. Zhang Zhengwen believes that as long as these plans are implemented, he will have the hope to aspire to the throne of prime minister and become the actual helmsman of Malay during the next election.

You must know that when Li Jianhui establishes a semiconductor industrial park, it will not only be settled by his four major group companies, but will be followed by a large number of companies in the industry chain.

For example, East Asia Technology, Guanghua Technology, Jiulong Technology, etc., although these corporate headquarters are not in Johor Bahru, because the production base of Huahong Group is here, they will also establish a production base here to facilitate the supply of goods to Huahong Group nearby.

Infected by Li Jianhui's blueprint, Zhang Zhengwen also said with excitement: "Mr. Li has provided so much support for the entrepreneurship and development of Johor Bahru citizens, and our government will not remain indifferent.

We will communicate with state legislators in the future to provide preferential treatment for companies investing in Johor Bahru in terms of land use and taxation.

Especially for the land for the semiconductor industrial park, we will persuade the state assembly to provide it to several major companies for free. Water and electricity will also be connected to the industrial park by the government. In terms of roads, our government will also actively plan for it to help the industrial park develop.

The new mountain takes root and can thrive.

In terms of taxation, we will also provide support to reduce the pressure on enterprise development and use more funds for enterprise expansion."

Because of the close relationship between the two parties, the afternoon meeting was quite harmonious. Although the ultimate goals were different, they were consistent in promoting the development of Johor Bahru into an international metropolis.

Therefore, at the meeting, both parties reached considerable consensus, and many projects can be implemented immediately after the next state assembly.

In terms of absorbing immigrants, Zhang Zhengwen will also personally go to Kuala Lumpur to communicate with federal senior officials, and will negotiate with the Northern Ambassador to Malay to guide northern residents to come to Johor Bahru in the name of a labor service company.

As for the matter of going astray, Li Jianhui went to discuss with the big bosses of 14k and asked them to communicate with some organizations and try to guide the people to Johor Bahru or major Malay cities.
