Chapter 6 The Missing Assistant

In the literary restaurant of Ossenfort College, the refreshing sea breeze and soft sunlight shine through the windows to create a dazzling array of delicious dishes.

The witch hunter sat around the table and ate voraciously, eating quickly and generously poses that made the teachers and students of Osenfort in the restaurant dumbfounded.

Most of this group of teachers and students have good family backgrounds, either rich or noble, and they either show disdain or curious about the performance of the group, and secretly look at them with a strange smile.

However, the demon hunters didn't care, so they threw their cheeks and ate the special food.

"Several people try this limited-supply stewed grey gill scale fish..." Linus Pitt pointed to a pot of creamy light yellow fish soup and recommended, "Gray gill scale fish is a specialty of the Ossenfort estuary delta, the intersection of freshwater and seawater. The meat is tender and has almost no fish bones. It is very popular. I ordered a serving based on the privileges of the teacher."

Roy put down the caviar pie in his hand, tasted the fish soup, and couldn't help but squint his eyes comfortably.

"This is what enjoyment is, the stewed fish I used to eat is not as fart as it is. But Mr. Linus, the gray-gilled fish is only produced in the delta. Isn't it a protective animal?"

The scholar shook his head and explained, "You don't have to worry about this. The ban on limited fishing of gray-gilled scale fish is protected. The Natural History Department of the College has to spend time cracking down on illegal fishing and hunting every year, so their number has always been in a normal range, far from reaching the endangered level. In addition, although I am committed to saving endangered animals, I am not a pedantic vegetarian."

"Try this broccoli marinated veal again... the restaurant's signature dish is the most popular among the students of the academy."

Next, the unique beef burger-style dishes refreshed the witch hunter's awareness. These special dishes are not only exquisitely arranged, but also have a stunning taste, but also take into account balanced nutrition.

It is far from comparable to the simple and crude stewed meat and barbecue in a tavern in another place.

"The Cattle Castle is such a decay and depraved place..." Oaks leaned against the rattan chair, stroked his slightly raised belly, and burped with satisfaction. "No food is so amazing except Roy's craftsmanship."

Everyone nodded, all agreeing.

They drank some homemade fruit wine. In order to prevent the romantic intellectuals from getting bored in the college, the college restaurant did not provide spirits, although the effect was not great.

Then, Resso cleared his throat, "I have visited the Eco Park and enjoyed Osenfort's specialty food. Mr. Linus, let's get back to the topic now..." Resso stared at Linus' eyes and smiled, "Just directly, what else do you have? Or, commission?"

"Don't mention joining the Endangered Animal Protection Association... We are not interested in it!"

Linus looked at Roy, who shook his head decisively.

Linus sighed and said regretfully, "I will not force you if you don't want to cooperate. But I hope you don't leak the matter of the ecological park. Some nobles are very interested in endangered animals and try every means to catch them as toys, or even kill them to make them into specimens. My ecological park must not be targeted by those ill-hearted guys."

"We can't eat your meal for nothing," the bald man nodded happily, "We will keep the secret... This is the promise of the witch hunter."

“Although you can’t join the Society for the Protection of Endangered Animals…” Seret said half-truely, “but Mr. Linus, I personally think your ideas are visionary and the world needs experts with advanced thinking like you.”

There are indeed fewer and fewer monsters in the world. The demon hunters have a deep understanding. Maybe in a few decades, all monsters will become specimens in museums for display.

But the hunting habits they developed for decades cannot be changed by the words of the Cowburg scholars.

Linus got the answer he wanted, and he said another request.

"In addition to the operation of the ecological park, I do have another trouble... I have been busy taking care of the little babies recently, and I really can't find time to investigate myself, so I want to ask you all."

"Let me tell me..."

"I hired two assistants to take turns to take care of the Ecological Park... Both are students from the Department of Natural History. After passing my inspection, I am innocent, honest and trustworthy."

Roy remembered that he mentioned this before.

"One of the students seemed to have something wrong..." Linus said worriedly, "Last week he asked me for three days of vacation because of family trivial matters, but seven days have passed since today. He still hasn't returned to the college. He didn't even bring back a message. I'm very worried, can the masters go for me and go to his house to see?"

"I understand what you mean." Reso glanced at his companion, and everyone nodded at him, and said, "It doesn't sound difficult, it's just a small errand running task that we can handle. Let's talk about, the students' basic identity information, home address, and interpersonal relationships..."

Linus's face was happy and introduced it to the witch hunter in detail.

The uninformed Ossenfort student and assistant to the Ecological Park is named Visxiao. He has short gray hair, black eyes, and a tall figure. He is twenty-one years old this year. He is a first-year student in the Natural History Department of Niubao College. He is a bit dull and honest and has a good reputation in the grade.

"No conflict with anyone?"

Linus shook his head,

"Where is his home?"

"I can mark it on a small hill about ten miles northeast of Osenfort Town on a map later."

“In the suburbs?”

"Everything is worth every inch of land in Ossenfort. A young child from a peasant family, Visshaw cannot afford a house."

"But he worked very hard. After passing the Ossenfort entrance examination with sweat and hard work, he took a lot of time to work hard every day to earn tuition. There is also the reason why I hired him to take care of the Eco Park. What did you say? "Linus commented appreciatively, "Wishshaw is a young man with academic potential and excellent. He worked for me for more than half a year. The Eco Park has completed its daily tasks very well, and his academic performance has not been affected at all. He has always been among the top in the Department of Natural History."

Linus Pete talked about some of Visshaw's past stories in the academy.

Roy sorted out the information in his mind, confirmed that there were no mistakes, and then comforted him, "We've taken the entrustment, don't worry, Visxiao is probably not finished yet, and it's not convenient to deliver messages in the wilderness."

"I will ride over here ten miles northeast of Osenfort every once in a while, and I will bring back the news tonight if nothing unexpected happens."

"Everyone, it's my turn this time?" Oaks said in the front, "Baron La Valerdi has been watching the show for a few days, and his bones are rusted. This time, I should be able to do it alone!"

"Can you bring me?" Cantilla said. In fact, she has not made much contributions to the public these days. She always feels a little indebted, "I have always been very curious about how you masters solve the problems on weekdays."

The Snake Sect Witch Hunter discussed a few words.

"That Cantilla, you remember to follow Oaks' command." Roy patted her on the shoulder.

"No problem, I promise not to cause trouble!" The girl Zerekan smiled heartily, and an excited light surged in her eyes.

The matter was decided, and Cantilla and Oaks went to Visshaw's home to investigate the situation. The rest continued to stay at Ossenfort Academy, waiting for news, and by the way to visit the college they liked.

"By the way, a few masters, we haven't negotiated the reward yet..."

"Not mentioning the rewards, if there is no big problem with Visshaw, you will treat this meal today as a reward," Resso said in a rare generous manner. "If there is any other trouble, let's talk about the price in detail."
