Chapter 9 The truth of the tree heart
"Get out! A lackey, the enemy of nature!" An angry roar came from the depths of the cave, like the voice of an old woman who had amplified thousands of times, with hysteria and madness.
A irritating air flowed out with the sound, causing the stalactites on the top of the cave to tremble left and right, and the water surface below the cave to ripples.
But this did not scare everyone away. They waded through the central waterway and entered the deepest part of the cave.
The light became dimmer, and the dim light shone out a bloated giant creature: it emerged from the gray rock walls and the top of the cave. It looked like a pile of sarcoma-rich meat mountains, which was very disgusting.
The most eye-catching piece of this meat mountain is located in the center, shaped like a heart, and is still beating.
Its pulsation seemed to have some invisible magic power, and the entire cave responded to it, constantly falling gravel and dust.
At this moment, it was covered by a pile of rough and hard bark, with pale yellow whiskers on the bark, as if it was putting itself on a layer of sharp armor.
The pendant between the necks of the witch hunters vibrated violently, and the vicinity was filled with magic. Perhaps this strange-shaped thing was the creation of magic.
"Tree tumor..." Resso said.
"It is obviously the heart of the tree..." Roy corrected, "It just connects to the roots of the huge banyan tree on the top of the hill." Thick roots were also wrapped around the heart of the tree, and slowly wriggling like a living thing.
"Get out!" The old woman's voice sounded again, echoing in the cave. Only then did everyone realize that the guy talking was the heart covered with tree bark in front of him.
"Get out of my territory immediately, otherwise you will be in pain!" In a howling, the tree roots suddenly pulled out of the rock wall, hovering in the air like a python, aiming at the witch hunters.
"Ms. Tree Heart...you have a little misunderstanding." Roy's vision, the surface of the tree center was covered with a layer of light green energy and a layer of natural disguise. He could only see the same explanation as the wild banyan tree on the ground, and could not see the true identity of Tree Heart. "We are witch hunters, not anyone's lackey."
"Ly! Since you entered the whispering hill, I smelled that stench, exactly the same as the scent of those three ugly and vicious bitches. Even if I turned into ashes, I would never forget it! You even killed my guard!" Shuxin screamed, "I want to survive and get out of the cave as soon as possible!"
"What if we don't agree?" Seret was a little annoyed by her attitude, pointed the sword tip at her and retorted bluntly, "Your men, werewolf and those Andreggs are all dead, and you still dare to threaten them?"
"You can try!" Shuxin was still fearless, "Is the sword on your back fast, or is my cave collapsed quickly!"
Everyone's hearts were terrified.
"Don't be excited, ma'am, does the breath that makes you feel uncomfortable comes from this thing?" Roy pulled Latherite's arm and threw the dagger in his arms in front of the tree heart.
The tree heart suddenly fell into anger, controlling the tree roots to whip their weapons in a storm. The tree roots swept out the afterimages of the sky, blowing strong winds.
There were endless "crackling" sounds in the cave.
The witch hunters took a step back to avoid being affected.
After a while, Shuxin finished venting, and a large piece of thick arms and deep traces were whipped out of the hard ground.
The demon hunter took a breath. How much hatred does she have with the wife of the forest?
"Ms. Shuxin, do you believe us now? If we were those three 'bitters' people, we would never let you ruin this so-called holy weapon."
"Then why did you find this place with their things? Where did you know my whereabouts?" Shu Xin's tone was still full of doubt.
"We did make a deal with Mrs. Wood, but it was not what you thought..." Flius stood up and explained their experience again, focusing on the boy Carl.
"The three old witches used Carl to threaten us. We were forced to whisper the hills to hunt for sacrifices for them, but the accounts still have to be settled." Roy explained carefully, "I saw a description of you in a book. The book says that you were sealed by the three old witches? There is no doubt that you and them are absolutely mortal enemies, and the enemy of the enemy is a friend...so we come to contact you."
"You want to cooperate with me to deal with Mrs. Lin?"
"That's right, at least teach them a lesson." Oaks said fiercely, "He was most disgusted with other people's threats."
The tree heart slowly swung its rhizomes and pondered,
"I'll talk about the cooperation later. Demon Hunter, what book did you just mentioned refer to? Where did you find it?" Shuxin's voice became strange.
"The All-knowing Her," Roy said, "we found it at the home of a disabled man in the Willen Swamp."
"Do you believe in the records in the book?" Shuxin sighed, "Let me point you a mistake. The three vicious women joined forces to destroy my body, but they could not seal my soul. It was me who chose to rely on this sacred tree. The entire Willen, it is the only two who can withstand my soul." Shuxin paused, "It's a pity that I can't get out of the banyan tree from then on."
The natural incarnation that saved her soul has now become her cage.
Although Shuxin could not express her expression, she felt sad and helpless all over her body.
The few people listened and slowly withdrew the silver sword.
"What else is mentioned in that book?"
"The book also mentions your identity - the mother of the forest, the creator, and the oldest existence of Willen - the fairy mother. Because you lost your mind and wanted to wipe out the entire Willen, they jointly killed you."
After the witch hunter finished speaking, Shuxin suddenly laughed, and her smile echoed throughout the cave, but there was no joy in the laughter, only sarcasm.
"If I were their mothers, I would have been killed by this ugly and evil bitch in my heart, and I would have been killed under the banyan tree and broke myself." Shuxin's tone was extremely mean, containing deep hatred. "How dare they stick gilds on their faces? Stop me, a natural guardian, to destroy Willen? It's a touching and brilliant deed!"
Shuxin roared, "They are worthy too?! This old thing raised by the bitch?"
The witch hunters shook their heads together.
Shuxin continued,
"Do you know that whisper? He is one of the three sisters who likes to cut off human ears and refine them with magic; hemian loves to use human hair to weave into thin gauze dresses to cover her bloated body with pleated tucks; hemian often cooks broth and invites her sisters to have dinner together, and occasionally other messy evil creatures join."
This Roy knew that the evil creatures included the infamous wild hunter.
"You think--" Shuxin slowed down and said word by word, "What are the good things about those three things?"
"So, Ms. Shuxin, you are not the fairy mother who created the Lady in the Forest, and the three sisters are not the gods who protect the peace of the people of Willen on the surface?"
"It's good that you know." Shuxin suddenly breathed a sigh of relief, "Sorry, I haven't talked to someone so happily for a long time, and I've lost my composure."
"We can understand..." Resor nodded. If they were trapped in a big tree for hundreds of years, they would go crazy. "So what is your identity? Are you willing to help us deal with the old witch?"
"Everyone, you are willing to listen patiently to a 'monster' nonsense, so I am willing to share with you some truth about Willen." Shuxin paused, and the five of them raised their ears,
"I am a member of the ancient Druid Ring, guarding the forests and swamps of Willen, maintaining the balance of nature and ecological. You can call me Kungulan. And the old witches, the three sisters, or the ladies in the forest, were the monsters who came to Willen during the first meeting of the sky. They could draw magic from the land and manipulate the fate of nearby creatures."
"They coveted the land of Willen, and joined forces to destroy my body. They sealed my soul into this banyan tree. The nature I once served protected me and prevented me from being conspired and tricked by the old witches."
"Because of the death of the guardian, the Mother of Nature was in anger for a long time, creating this whispering hill, liberating the wildness in the animal's body, venting anger freely, and also preventing the minions of the three sisters from approaching me and hurting me!"
"Now, the witch hunter, since we have all suffered the vicious damage from the Lady of the Forest and the few are willing to cooperate, please agree to a request."
“What request…”
"Let me get free from this banyan tree that lives in."
