Chapter 4 Gringotts

Soon, the Chaling Cross arrived.

Jamini stood at this intersection, swept across the shops by the street, and finally landed his eyes on an inconspicuous dilapidated wooden door.

An old broken sign hanging on the wooden door - a broken cauldron bar.

There are two new students who go to Diagon Alley with Jamini, one is Hermione and the other is Justin Finlieri. Both are from Muggle families, and besides the two are their parents.

What made Jamini feel very comfortable was that both parents were well-educated, the Fenlieri and the Grangers were relatively low-key. Although the two families had similar classes, their temperaments were still slightly different.

Professor McGonagall and several people pushed open the door of the broken cauldron bar.

"Ha! Minerva, long time no see." Behind the bar, an old wizard with a hunched back and almost lost his teeth greeted Professor McGonagall happily.

There was a lot of noise in the bar, the smell of wine and oak barrels floating in the air, and the slightest smell of smoke mixed with the wizards looking at Jamini, Hermione and Justin curiously.

"Long time no see, old Tom."

Professor McGonagall nodded politely, without any intention of staying, and led Gemini and others to the back of the broken cauldron bar.

Several people came to a small and closed patio, and Professor McGonagall pulled out his wand from his arms and knocked on the wall above the trash can.

"Three pieces above the trash can, and two pieces horizontally. I hope you can write down this so that you can come back next time."

Professor McGonagall finished speaking, and under the puzzled eyes of several people, a rumbling sound came from the closed wall of the small patio. The red stone bricks changed their location one by one, and the entire wall spread out like water waves. Then, the sun shone into the small patio, and a wide archway appeared in front of everyone, leading to a winding and winding street paved with cobblestones that could not be seen.

“Welcome to Diagon Alley!”

Professor McGonagall turned around, a smile appeared on his always serious face, and the excitement in his eyes could not be concealed.

Nothing can make a wizard prouder than introducing Diagon Alley to a freshman who first came into contact with the magic world.

Hermione and Justin's eyes were full of excitement and curiosity, and their eyes were wandering around. Hermione even completely forgot about what Jamini had lied to him before.

The moment everyone passed through the archway, the archway behind him turned into a solid wall, and the dazzling sunlight projected on a stack of crucibles outside the door of a recent store, emitting the light of the archway.

"Get out your shopping list," Professor McGonagall reminded: "You need a crucible, made of tin."

Mr. Fenlieri hesitated for a moment: "Does the wizards also charge pounds?"

"Of course not." Professor McGonagall laughed: "The wizards have special currencies. I will take you to the wizard bank - Gringott. You will exchange them there. The currency used by the wizards is Jin Jialong, Silver Sike, Copper Nath, Garon and British Pound floating between about 1:5."

As he said that, Professor McGonagall looked at Jamini: "Also, Mr. Fox, you don't need to worry about money. There are subsidies for freshmen like you to enroll. Although it is not guaranteed that you can use the best, with the support of the school board, at least you can use the new wand textbooks."

Jamini thought about it and decided to reject Professor McGonagall's kindness. Although that would save a lot of money, Jamini didn't want to go to school in an old robe. It was because he didn't have that condition, so why did he feel wronged himself?

Isn’t this money just for spending?

"Thank you very much, Professor McGonagall, but I have my own savings."

Professor McGonagall was stunned. The Finrey and the Grange couple also looked at Jamini with some amusement. In their opinion, an eleven-year-old boy can have how much money he can have if he has savings?

"I have an obligation to remind you, Mr. Fox, the price required for freshmen to enter school is at least about 40 gallons. This is equivalent to my half-month salary. Are you sure you can afford it?"

Professor McGonagall asked seriously that she did not want Jamini to cause problems for irrelevant face issues.

Jamini nodded. Forty Gallon was equivalent to about 200 pounds. With his current deposit of more than 15,000 pounds and water, he could easily afford the expense.

"My current discretionary deposit is about 2,000 pounds." Jamini smiled gently.

"two thousand?"

Mr. Fenlieri opened his mouth in shock. His monthly income was only eight hundred pounds, which was already considered a high income.

Professor McGonagall was also surprised: "Where did you get so much money?"

Two thousand pounds, almost four hundred Gallons, and you can buy a good location in Diagon Alley, and Jamini is talking about free dominance, which means that this is not all his savings. You can tell if he is not worried at all.

"I'm good at handcrafting and often sell small things." Jamini smiled and took out a slightly bloated snakeskin wallet from his arms.

Of course, this wallet was not taken out of your arms. It is not safe for children of this age to carry so much money.

Jamini's weapons store has ten thousand cubic cubic storage spaces, and Jamini's money is usually kept in the storage space.

"I have to say...Mr. Fox, you are the most amazing child I have ever seen in this age group." Professor McGonagall looked at Jamie with pity.

"Thank you for your praise." Jaminie nodded slightly to Professor McGonagall.

"What I'm talking about is the fact." Professor McGonagall pursed his lips: "Come with me, I'll take you to Gringott."

Soon, everyone followed Professor McGonagall all the way to Guling Pavilion.

This is a snow-white building towering above the surrounding shops, a shiny bronze gatehouse, where a little slut in a scarlet gold uniform stands - that is a goblin.

With a short figure, pointed ears, sharp teeth and dark face, Jamini immediately remembered the goblins in the dungeon. In fact, the name of the goblin is really the goblin...

"What is that?" Justin looked at the short figure in shock.

"Fairy." Professor McGonagall pursed his lips: "Keep quiet as much as possible, they have never been very friendly."

When everyone entered the door, the fairy bowed to everyone, and then a second door appeared in front of everyone, a silver gate with the following words engraved on them:

Please come in, strangers, but you have to be careful

What will be the end of greed?

Just ask for nothing

Will be punished the most severely

So if you want to take a wealth from our underground vault that never belongs to you

Thieves, you've been warned

Beware that what comes early is not the treasure, but the evil retribution

"The lines are full of unfriendly." Jamini chuckled.

Behind the gate, two fairies bowed to everyone and led them into a tall marble hall. About a hundred and dozens of fairies sat on high stools behind a row of long counters. Some were weighing coins with copper balances, and some were checking gems with eyepieces, while registering in a big account book.
