Chapter 141 All methods are empty(1/2)
Su Xiaoning showed a proud look, and Master Jueyuan smiled and said:
"The Taoist teachings are exquisite. His Highness, the prince has read scriptures, has amazing cultivation, and is very lucky at a young age. It is admirable.
However, returning to one thing to all dharmas is only the first step, and we have further insights into Buddhism.”
When Su Xiaoning heard this, she quickly put away her "professor" style and said with respect and politeness:
"Oh? I hope to hear it carefully."
The master pointed out that "younger" means that he naturally advised Su Xiaoning not to be arrogant.
Young people can be energetic,
Don't be arrogant.
Su Xiaoning has just advanced to the nine-star realm of the heaven level. She is also a son of god, a future salad king, a system-accompaniment and an immortal cultivator. She is only eighteen years old, so she is rarely satisfied with the will.
However, Su Xiaoning’s advantage is that he can correct mistakes, and there is no greater good.
Master Jueyuan smiled and said:
"It is not wrong to return to one thing to the same thing, but at a higher level, we believe that all things are empty."
"ah!"
Not only did Princess Haya and Qing'er exclaim at the same time, but Su Xiaoning was also confused.
Since all things are empty, it turns out that the great truth you just said for a long time is equivalent to farting?
Master Jueyuan seemed to see the confusion and disappointment of the three students. It seemed that in order to give the students a hope, he added:
“Cause and effect are not empty.”
This made Su Xiaoning completely confused.
Since you just said "all things are empty", why did you say "cause and effect are not empty" again? Isn't this a contradiction?
Master Jueyuan knew everyone’s confusion, so he patiently explained:
"The fundamental meaning of our Buddhism is the origin of dependent origination and destruction.
Everything is fate.
For example, when you come to see me today, your Highness, is actually because you have obtained some kind of magical power in the ancestral temple and need to be solved, and it is also because of Princess Haya."
Princess Haya was secretly happy when she heard this. She thought that Su Xiaoning would definitely date her and propose marriage to her later.
"These are fate. Perhaps they were planted earlier. You and I will definitely meet at a certain time and at a certain place."
After hearing Master Jueyuan's words, Su Xiaoning thought to himself, is this similar to "A glance at you is fate five hundred years ago"?
Master Jueyuan said again:
"It is unknown whether you and I can meet again in the future after this meeting, and whether we can have such friendly conversations as we are now.
If fate is not over, we may still meet.
The fate has ended, and it is impossible to meet in this life. This is the fate of fate."
Princess Haya heard this and felt a little uneasy on her face, and she thought to herself:
Are I really destined to be with Prince Su Xiaoning?
Su Xiaoning completely calmed down and looked at Master Jueyuan quietly.
He suddenly felt that he no longer had any persistence.
Previously, Su Xiaoning hoped to find the secret of "one finger to the sky" from Master Jueyuan, but now he has no such thoughts.
because--
He seemed to have found the answer.
Master Jueyuan couldn't help but smile when he saw Su Xiaoning's expression that seemed to have gained something.
He was very satisfied with Su Xiaoning's understanding of the world and was enlightened with just one word.
But Princess Haya and Qing'er were still in the fog. Master Jueyuan took a sip of tea and started talking:
"All things are empty, because everything is produced by the combination of causes and conditions, and there is no separate, fixed, and constant existence.
So in the end, it is unavailable.
All things mentioned here are all things. They include visible objects, invisible thoughts, and even Buddhism itself.
Therefore, everything follows this law. It is precisely because it follows this law that all things are caused by the cause and effect of destruction.
In fact, the origin and death of cause and effect are cause and effect. Because of cause, the result.
In other words, these two sentences are actually one sentence. All dharmas are empty, which means that all dharmas are caused by dependent origination and destruction. If cause and effect are not empty, it means that all dharmas are caused by dependent origination and destruction.
Our master said this easily for compassion and wanted to tell sentient beings in the three realms that all dharmas arise and destroy and all dharmas arise. This is the truth.
The first is to let sentient beings see through the essence of the existence of all dharmas.
Because all dharmas have conditions, once the conditions change, all dharmas change, and it can also be said that all actions are impermanent.
Second, the Four Truths taught by the Buddha: suffering, accumulation, extinction and path.
This is suffering, I have left. This is accumulation, I have stopped. This is extinction, I have attained it. This is the Tao, I have practiced.
If you know that this is suffering, you must know the cause of suffering.
The cause of suffering is gathering.
Then how to eliminate the aggregates? It is to destroy them.
So what is the path to extinction of practice? It is the Tao.
These words are logically connected, and they are also cause and effect.
The principle of cause and effect must exist in the Saha world as we know it.
You should know that our ancient Buddha of Contempt and Light also made vows in the causal realm, practiced the Bodhisattva path, and achieved the supreme enlightenment in the fruit realm.
So we can also calculate that in all things we can know, all things are empty because all things are born from cause and condition. Cause and effect are not empty, but also because all things are born from cause and condition."
After these words, Su Xiaoning completely understood that unconsciously appeared in her body, making the whole room shine and the air smell.
Princess Haya and Qing'er were shocked,
Has His Highness the Prince become a Buddha?
Su Xiaoning opened her eyes and said a verse:
"Come on the path to Bodhi,
Show the mirror platform as it happens.
The wonderful existence continues the life of wisdom,
Vacuum and dust-free.”
Master Jueyuan was overjoyed and immediately replied to a verse:
"When you are careful,
It is just useless;
Use it without intention,
Commonly used, no."
After hearing this, Su Xiaoning laughed and said:
“So wet!”
Master Jueyuan patted Su Xiaoning on the shoulder and laughed:
"Congratulations!"
Princess Haya was not happy at all, and pouted and said:
"Look at you two being happy like the New Year! Master, what poems do you read? I didn't understand a single sentence!"
Master Jueyuan was chanting the "Poem of attaining enlightenment", and he explained:
"If you have no mind, you will naturally understand the truth that all things are empty."
If you have something to do, you will have something to do, you will have something to do, and you will have something to do;
Only when you don’t have any intention can your mind expand.
Without mind, you will not be bound by all things, and you will be everywhere and free everywhere."
In order to help the disciples strengthen their understanding, Master Jueyuan told a story:
"Three hundred years ago, Dipai had a Zen Master Deshan who had profound attainments in the Diamond Sutra.
At that time, Zen Buddhism in the south was popular with "the mind is the Buddha". Deshan believed that this was the theory of the heretics, so he worked hard to write a "Diamond Sutra Qinglong Shu Chao" to go to the south to destroy the evil theory.
When he passed by Gina State, he saw a small shop selling oil cakes.
Deshan was just hungry, so he walked into the shop and shouted to his wife who was selling oil cakes: "Old woman, get some snacks!"
