Chapter Twenty One Year Later

A year later, in 1962, the most famous event occurred in this year was the "Cuban Missile Crisis" that almost detonated the nuclear war.

The Cuban missile crisis was not pure. Its origins began in 1959 with 30 and 15 nuclear missiles aimed at the Soviet Union in Italy and Turkey. This undoubtedly caused the Soviet Union to feel a sense of crisis. After that, the Soviet Union began to look for opportunities in South America to pose a threat to the United States. Until a year later, in 1960, Castro made an enthusiastic speech at the United Nations General Assembly. He said to the Americans sitting in the hall: "It was you who prompted us to seek new markets and new friends, the Soviet Union and the socialist world. After that, we began to become interested in this socialism and began to study it."

With the Bay of Pigs incident, Castro realized that it was not feasible to no longer find a powerful ally. In this world, there is no country that can confront the United States, a superpower, except for the Soviet Union, which is also a superpower.

In 1962, Khrushchev approved the deployment of missiles in Cuba, and began to carry dozens of missiles and dozens of aircraft in late July. At the same time, 3,500 military technicians also took ships one after another.

Other countries know what the Soviet Union is doing, let alone the old rival of the United States. The United States ordered the CIA to do everything possible to collect what the Soviet Union was planning. Although the CIA has undergone a major purge and has not been affected much, it quickly delivered a satisfactory answer, which surprised the government. The Soviet Union wanted to deploy missiles in Cuba to follow the example of Turkey's deployment of missiles to threaten the United States.

The situation outside is extremely tense. All countries in the world that do not block information know that the confrontation between the United States and the Soviet Union is the most intense, and it has risen to the point where missiles are used to bombard each other's territory at any time. All parties are running around, hoping that the two superpowers will not be too harsh and press the missile launch button.

The CIA in Langley, who has moved to the Potomac River at the junction of Washington, DC and Virginia, quickly collected the latest Soviet intelligence. This huge overseas intelligence agency operated with a terrifying efficiency. A new piece of information was transmitted to the headquarters in one minute. Although it was useless, it was still stored in the database to see which day it would be used when needed.

In the office of the Special Section, Ying Tian was drinking coffee leisurely, knowing that the Cuban missile crisis would end with Khrushchev's compromise, and that he was not as nervous as outsiders.

Yingtian was drinking coffee and thinking about other things.

A year ago, most of the responsibility for the Bay of Pigs was shifted to KGB. KGB was an intelligence agency of the Soviet Union. Its master lost a lot of diplomacy. All of these initiators fled to the Soviet Union, making it difficult for the Russians to argue. Although they knew it was the CIA, who would believe your argument? The US military pilots and CIA officials involved in the Bay of Pigs incident both fled to you through Cuba channels. What do you say? The Soviet Union could only be a mute and could not say anything about the suffering.

Then there was a great purge of the US government and the military. Of course, Yingtian was not willing to be lonely and vigorously eliminated the people he had worked with. Everyone died in various accidents. Some of them had died long ago, so they didn't have to do anything.

Ying Tian knew that after the Cuban missile crisis, he had to leave the United States and of course he could "dead" by death.

Bang.

Lei pushed open the door and said, "Sir, there is something information you need to pay attention to."

Ying Tian was puzzled and followed Lei away from the supervisor's office and went to the communication room. An hour later, Ying Tian appeared in Central Park, New York.

Walking on the trail, the silent Ying Tian was out of place with the young man who was talking about love and playing with the children. He had a kind of momentum that he did not come here to hang out.

Walking to a big tree, Strack appears: "You are very on time, win over Colonel."

"Can you help me find the identity of that person, who is he?"

Strack and Ying Tian walked together and said, "This man was once a mutant under the head of state. He was responsible for collecting mutant abilities to see if it was used by Germany. After Germany was defeated, we found his body in a concentration camp, to be precisely the body he concealed. A few years ago, our intelligence officers reported that he was still alive. Compared to before, he was younger and there were many mutants around him."

"I need his identity information."

Strack took out a ten-dollar note, Yingtian took it and looked at the serial number on it. He knew where to find the identity information corresponding to the serial number.

I asked Strak for help because this person was a German Nazi officer. Ying Tian felt that he knew who this person was and would not remember it for a while. The reason was that a lurking Soviet agent reported that a middle-aged man frequently met with Soviet officers, which aroused his suspicion, but because of the strict garrison, he could not get more information.

Walking to a telephone booth on the side of the road, Yingtian called Switzerland and said briefly: "DK42365789T, K11."

After half a day, an encrypted document was placed in Yingtian's office. Yingtian opened it and the first photo was reflected in his eyes. It was a middle-aged man with a faint arrogance. It was indeed him.

This person has a German name named Klaus Schmidt, and now his name is Sebastian Shaw. Hellfire Club in Nevada, Las Vegas, and the club that the CIA focuses on surveillance.

After re-sealing, Ying Tian smiled. Sebastian Xiao was indeed very capable, but he had a way to solve this almost powerful mutant. Of course, to eliminate this mutant, you must first find a good helper, otherwise it will take a lot of manpower and material resources to eliminate him.

He called the Intelligence Department Supervisor's Office and Edward came over quickly.

"Win, I heard you've found the person who has frequent contact with the Soviets?"

Ying Tianyi pushed the document to Edward: "Edward, find this person, but don't try to contact this person, he is too dangerous. Also, send out the news that we have the residual information of the German Nazis in our hands."

Edward frowned slightly and did not ask why. Ying Tian didn't say that no one could know what was thinking in his head.

"All right."

After Edward left, Yingtian had a lot to do, some to eliminate Sebastian Shaw, and some to leave the United States and to establish a new enemy after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
