1116 Feng Shui of the Forbidden City

The Palace of Yangxin is located on the left side of the harem of the Forbidden City, to the west of the Ganqing Palace. Before Yongzheng, it was nothing more than the office location of the harem building office. A group of eunuchs are here to wait for the emperor's will and create some imperial items for the emperor.

In the hundreds of years since its completion, there have been only eunuchs and palace maids, and even the emperor has not been here several times. There are not many records of this palace in history books.

I knew that during the Yongzheng period, the rules changed a lot. The Yangxin Palace became the place where the emperor lived and worked. The ministers of the Military Affairs Office were at any time. They tasted the beacons and military information on the distant empire's borders in the middle of the night. The so-called high wall between the harem and the previous dynasty had been broken since the Yongzheng period.

The Forbidden City built during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty was actually not only a great achievement of ancient Chinese architectural skills, but also a great achievement of ancient Chinese Feng Shui.

The emperor's harem is also very particular in terms of pattern. After pushing the three halls from south to north, it is Tianjie. The Ganqing Gate occupies the central axis on the north side of the road of Tianjie. Drawing a straight line from east to west can clearly separate the inner court and the outer court.

To the south of the Ganqing Gate is the emperor's country, and to the north of the Ganqing Gate is the emperor's home!

The state has its own laws, and the family has its own rules! The biggest one of the family rules in the emperor's inner court is that the world cannot be chaotic and the palace cannot be defiled! Therefore, the harem has always been a forbidden area for men, and no one can take a step, unless you are specially summoned by the emperor, or you have to be a eunuch.

In his previous life, Xiao Letian heard of such a Feng Shui rumor. It said that the root cause of the chaotic country of the heroine in the late Qing Dynasty was that Yongzheng broke the strict harem rules of the Ming Dynasty. He could not allow men outside to enter the harem, but he wanted to let the ministers of the military and national affairs come in. The final retribution was that the court where women should not enter, but in the end, two women ruled the country from behind the curtain.

Can a drink and a peck be determined by heaven? Can a drink and a food be retribution?

This is of course a short story in Feng Shui, which is not worth believing. However, the ancients were very convinced by these theories. If we could fly into the sky of the Forbidden City like Xiao Letian, we could clearly see that the six palaces around the left and right axis of the harem are actually the shape of the Kun hexagram in the Book of Changes.

The stem represents the most strong and yang, and Kun represents the most soft and yin! The Kun hexagram represents women in the Book of Changes.

The three main halls of the harem, the Ganqing Palace is Yang, which is the emperor's bedroom, and the Kunning Palace is Yin, which is naturally the residence of the empress. There is also a small hall between the Ganqing Palace and the Kunning Palace, which is Jiaotai Hall. People can think of the meaning of this palace, which is naturally Yin and Yang Jiaotai.

Even some unrestrained scholars in later generations analyzed that Jiaotai Hall is a palace dedicated to the emperor and the queen sleep in London... This is really a bit nonsense!

The three halls of the harem occupy the central axis, and the six palaces in the left and right are divided into the left and right.

The six eastern palaces refer to Jingren Palace, Zhongcui Palace, Chengqian Palace, Jingyang Palace, Yonghe Palace, and Yanxi Palace.

The six western palaces refer to Chuxiu Palace, Yikun Palace, Changchun Palace, Yongshou Palace, Qixiang Palace, and Xianfu Palace.

From mid-air, the six palaces are like the six short horizontal lines in the Kun hexagram, and are equally distributed on both sides of the emperor and the queen. This is evident in the masters of Tuchen in the Ming Dynasty.

In fact, many of the complex rules specified by the ancients have deep ideological origins behind them. The inner court and the outer court are so cautious. On the one hand, they are to prevent the emperor from being cuckolded, and on the other hand, they are also a disguised blockade of feminism by Chinese patriarchal society.

Women cannot interfere in politics, especially when the emperor's women are not special etiquette, and they cannot even meet with their ministers directly. This is a kind of insurance to prevent women from usurping power.

Unfortunately, this kind of fuse that the Ming Dynasty paid great attention to became less important in the eyes of the Qing Dynasty. Yongzheng made an exception first, and then there was a Feng Shui drama staged in the Forbidden City, which was worth studying for the rest of his life by the Queen Mother and the East and West Palaces.

Xiao Letian has been to the Forbidden City more than once in his previous life. He is very familiar with the Yangxin Palace and of course he is also very familiar with the history of Yangxin Palace.

In real history, the curtains in the East Warm Pavilion of the Yangxin Hall were only once open in history, and only once the woman behind the curtain faced the man outside the curtain faced each other.

And that time, the time when Empress Dowager Longyu issued the abdication edict, the panicked eunuchs and officials did not notice that the bright yellow curtains that were isolated from the empress dowager's face were not put down at all.

The frightened expression of Empress Dowager Longyu was deeply frozen in the memory of an empire. The warring fire of armed revolution outside the palace walls burned half of the south. The warlords of Beiyang faction such as Yuan Shikai went to court with swords like Cao Cao, mercilessly tearing apart the last fig leaf of the Qing Dynasty.

A yellow curtain, with him there is imperial power. Every time he is there, a woman is just a woman!

History always has many inexplicable connections. Even though Xiao Letian's past and present life are just two completely unrelated parallel worlds, there are always some forces that are involuntarily connected to each other.

Just like the yellow curtain that saw a ghost today, if you forget to let go, you will forget forever!

"Old man...Old man...The Empress Dowager is asking you!" Weng Tonghe's thoughts that were stuck on the curtain were suddenly awakened by Yi Huan.

"Ah? Ah! The Empress Dowager atones his sins... I just thought of Ryukyu, Japan and Korea before the New Year. I was a little lost and asked the Empress Dowager to atone for his sins!"

"Not guilty! This is what I asked... Old man, you just went to Ryukyu before the New Year. You should be very familiar with the situation. Tell me about the Ai family and analyze it for the Ai family. What exactly is Xiao Letian going to do?"

Note: The Feng Shui of the Forbidden City harem mentioned in this chapter is not meaningless! Feng Shui has long become a curious story and some people's superstitions. Most readers will think that using Feng Shui to explain the change of dynasties is pure nonsense.

But in real history, Feng Shui has actually had a great influence on the family, country and the world. The reason is very simple... As a modern person, you don’t believe in Feng Shui, but don’t forget that in that era, hundreds of millions of people from all over the Qing Dynasty believed it!

Faith is sometimes a kind of power. This mysterious Feng Shui rumors are actually nothing different from the so-called war between ideology in ancient times.

If Cixi wanted to take over power, she would take the initiative to find some factors that were beneficial to her from Feng Shui, and the civil and military officials in the court sometimes succumbed to this illusory superstitious power.

Politics is definitely not a binary opposition state that is either black or white. In fact, most of the essence of politics is hidden in a gray area like a fog, mysterious and intriguing!

Note: I can't stay up late anymore. I only slept for four hours last night... I can't hold on anymore, I can't hold on anymore! (To be continued)
