Chapter 2050 Sell Chinooks and ask for a monthly pass

Chinook's unique double rotor design is still unique and is praised. It has many advantages in such a design and looks very science fiction. This giant has appeared in countless Hollywood blockbusters.

The powerful Chinook is really so skilled that the motherland and polar bears cannot be created? You should know that Chinook has been in the past few decades. Although it has been upgraded several times, it is understandable that India cannot create the source technology, but the strong industrial strength of the motherland and polar bears cannot be created yet. That is not a simple technical issue, but a demand issue.

The polar bears' rice 26 is larger, which is enough for their needs. Because of their wide land territory and long-term strategic needs, the motherland does not need heavy firepower airborne overseas, so naturally there is no need for transportation helicopters of Chinook.

But India is not good, they have no choice. Even if Chinook is doing it, it can be ignored in the face of needs.

Chinook has dominated the years, and its failure rate has remained high. In the more than ten years of Afu Khan War, more than 100 helicopters of the US military crashed, and nearly half of them were Chinooks. Therefore, Chinooks were also nicknamed a deadly helicopter by the army. This problem has always plagued the US military. India's logistics support capabilities are obvious to all around the world. In this case, if you buy a bunch of rags that are already full of problems, this lieutenant general may have done it to the end.

Of course, Yang Cheng would not sell A San's brand new Chinook. He must be looking at the new one, but the kernel has been pieced together and replaced countless times with obsolete goods. It is best to be used for training and problems when they go to the battlefield. Of course, the price is still high, and the bargain Indians are not happy.

Regardless of whether they were happy or not, Yang Cheng was so happy that Chinook, it was a good thing.

As a heavy transportation helicopter, Chinook, known as the "Air Strongman", has taken on heavy responsibilities since its birth, and its upgrades and transformations are still in progress.

Its bugs are endless and can never be solved.

Once, a NATO "Chinnukan" was shot down by Taliban armed forces in Afu Khan, killing 38 people, including seal members and several crew members.

This is the worst death event of the US military in the past 10 years of the Afu Khan War, and Chinook once again set a deadly record.

There are often too many amazing similarities in history, such as Taliban, Chinook, Navy SEALs... These details are so similar to the scene in 2005.

That year, the US military stationed in Afghanistan received a signal of help from the mountainous areas in the eastern part of Afu Khan.

After receiving the signal for help, four Chinook helicopters set off immediately, and rescue troops, including harbor seals, flew to the mountains.

This is the "Red Wings Operation" of the US military that shocked the world. In that operation, a Chinook was shot down by the Taliban. All 16 US officers and soldiers on board were killed, including 8 of them SEALs...

Chinook heavy transport helicopter is the most typical twin-rotor longitudinal structure. The cabin is large and external lifting is very convenient.

Because it became famous in the Vietnam War and was widely used to carry out in-depth combat missions in the Gulf War, Chinook's reputation has been resounding all over the world.

Practical combat has proved that Chinook is indeed a first-class helicopter. Its unique rotor system and transmission device have significantly improved its tactical and technical performance, especially its ability to carry cannons, which is beyond the reach of other transportation helicopters.

It can quickly transport a built-in M-198 howitzer artillery company to combat areas far away from the base, and can quickly form strike firepower after landing.

When the enemy discovers and reacts, Chinook can quickly transfer the artillery to a safe place. Using this method, within 24 hours, only 10 Chinooks can transport an artillery company to 36 different positions.

Perhaps because of this irreplaceable ability, since its development in 1956, the Aerial Strongman has been transformed and never surpassed.

The latest model has reached "F", and the first 5 letters are all filled.

Currently, the main force in service is the CH-47D type Chinook. One of its prominent problems is the vibration problem. The upgrade of the F type has adjusted the fuselage to make its structure harder, which not only reduces vibration but also reduces the weight of the vibration suppression system. Since the rigid part of the fuselage is mostly located at the upper front end, the CH-47F uses a brand new cockpit, and lower vibration can reduce usage and maintenance costs, while improving the reliability of avionics and control systems.

The CH-47F also comes with an improved data modem capable of receiving commands and situation reports from air or ground platforms.

However, in order to control costs and reduce the difficulty of integration work, the CH-47F still uses existing electromechanical instruments to display engine parameters. Although the CH-47F uses a new data bus, the front-view infrared night vision sensor is not installed.

This version of F is estimated to serve the US military for more than 10 years.

With the large number of hunting equipment in the F version, a large number of D-types will be retired or withdrawn from the main front-line troops. This is the opportunity for DLA to intervene.

Yang Cheng felt that it was not a big problem to get more than 10 aircraft. At the price of Chinook, even if it had been used for more than ten years, it was estimated that it would take less than 10 aircraft to lose all the Lieutenant General's wallet!

Although he didn't care about the Indian being cheated, Yang Cheng was still very curious. In fact, Chinook did not have any good image in his impression: it was very dynamic, noise, and targeted. It was really suitable as a vehicle for the raid?

Moreover, large transport helicopters that usually transport dozens of soldiers are not guarded by armed helicopters. It is a miracle that Chinook's reputation can be maintained until now for a helicopter with a net weight of 20 tons, a body length of 30 meters and a speed of about 260 kilometers per hour.

Of course, as a military layman, these questions are not a problem, and it is true that Chinook is indeed a "slow fat man".

However, it flies slowly at low altitudes and fast at high altitudes. Chinook can carry more than 30 people at one time, while another helicopter CH-60 "Black Hawk" commonly used in Afghanistan can only carry up to 10 people.

If two or three Black Hawks act at the same time, the target will be larger and there will be more communication and coordination needs. In addition, the destination of the action is a valley and needs to fly over the mountainous areas. Chinooks have stronger climbing capabilities than the Black Hawks.

Moreover, all CH-47D Chinooks of the US military are equipped with airborne anti-missile defense systems, which can cope with the threat of enemy radar and missiles.

However, when flying at low altitudes, especially when encountering backward weapons such as shoulder-mounted rocket-propelled grenades, Chinook is tantamount to falling into close combat and a living target.

Rocket-propelled grenades are non-guided weapons. They can only use armor to deal with such weapons. Too thick armor will lead to difficulties in climbing and cannot fly maneuverably in the mountains. This is an unsolvable bug.
