118 Cannibal Vine(1/3)

The thick trees are nearly 100 meters high. Their lush canopy covers the sky and the sun. Occasionally, sunlight leaks through the cracks, making the huge space humid and dark.

The vines clinging to the towering trees hung down from the sky, each one as thick as Tu Ran's thigh.

The smell of fresh earth lingers in your breath, a smell that is not found in cities in the Federation that are polluted by technology.

Tu Ran looked around carefully.

The pioneers who came in before her were gone.

They were sent to different places.

The place in front of me was like a tropical rainforest, and it had never appeared in the memory of the original person.

This is a completely unfamiliar place.

On the intrathreshold holographic modeling map that has been released by the federation, there has never been a tropical rainforest.

She may be the first human to come here.

Tu Ran's heart became heavy, which meant that she was unable to absorb the experience of her predecessors and use her original memory.

Everything she faces will be brand new and untouched.

Tu Ran turned around and looked in the direction she came from.

It is a very strong giant sequoia tree.

She opened her arms, probably not one-tenth the size of this tree.

She opened the exit to the trunk of the tree and walked out from the trunk.

Tu Ran tried to reach out and touch the tree trunk.

Rough tree trunk texture, real touch.

She didn't put her hand through it.

The teleport point has been closed.

She can't go back from this place.

If she wants to leave here, she can only wait until the next few hours when the portal opens to find the exit.

Once it comes, make peace with it.

She needs to complete her mission.

Tu Ran began to try to move forward.

The ground underfoot is very soft.

It's very comfortable to step on.

Tu Ran walked forward cautiously while looking at the situation around her.

Everything here is huge.

She was here like an ant standing at the feet of a giant.

The ants snaked their way beneath the giant's feet.

Ants are very curious about everything. When they encounter something, they will stop and look at it before moving on.

Sometimes a small branch blocks the way, and the ants will crawl over the branch, which is no thicker than a toothpick, on their hands and knees.

Sometimes it doesn't crawl at all, avoids branches, and continues crawling in other directions.

Sometimes, ants will try to burrow under the branches.

Tu Ran is that little ant.

She didn't know how many big trees she encountered blocking her way.

One or two trees may have broken due to the aging of the trees and they cannot support the dense canopy, but it does not seem like a natural phenomenon to encounter a broken giant tree every time you walk.

Tu Ran went to the broken place of the giant tree to check, and found that the fracture was uneven, as if it had been broken by a giant impact.

Giant collision?

Not impossible.

In this tropical forest, the possibility of huge alien species appearing is very high.

Tu Ran continued to walk forward to observe the scene.

She found that the trees fell in different directions.

Some of the giant sequoia trees that did not fall also had cracks on their trunks, and some even had dented impact marks on the trunks.

It looked very much like two giant alien species were having a fight here.

Make this place a mess and leave.

As she walked, Tu Ran suddenly saw something empty under her feet.

Before she could react, she fell into a huge pit.

Although the pothole was large, it was not deep and was less than her waist.

Because it was covered by huge fallen leaves and blended in with the surrounding ground, Tu Ran didn't notice it.

Tu Ran held on to the edge of the pit and jumped up.

Looking back at the pothole.

The shape of this hole is very similar to the mark left by a foot, especially a horse's hoofprint.

From the feeling of falling in just now, the ground below the pit is solid and not as soft as the top.

It's like a piece of ground being stepped on.

If there were really footprints, there wouldn't be just one.

Tu Ran looked elsewhere.

Two black holes that are far apart can be seen with the naked eye. Because they are not blocked by the large fallen leaves, they are obvious at a glance.

I'm afraid there are many more holes like this here, but like the hole she fell into, they are all covered by leaves and become natural traps.

Tu Ran cautiously walked forward for more than twenty steps and looked at the ground carefully. Sure enough, she saw that several leaves had a tendency to sink downwards. She picked up a thick piece of wood from the ground and threw it in.

The leaves sank, revealing a pit more than one meter high inside.

Tu Ran's conjecture was confirmed. Giant alien species had indeed appeared here.

They are huge in size and heavy in weight, and they only cause such serious sinking when they step on the soft ground made of fallen leaves.

As for whether two alien species were fighting, judging from the messy footprints, Tu Ran guessed that they were close.

Tu Ran did not stay here longer.

Her mission is to take more pictures.

Then she must go to enough places.

She has spent enough time in this area and has almost captured the footage.

Since there was no map, Tu Ran could only walk in one direction based on feeling.

At first, the scenery along the way was filled with trees.

Not even dwarf shrubs exist.

Gradually, Tu Ran noticed that the trees were not as strong or dense as before. The blue sky could be seen in the gaps between the tree crowns, and short shrubs began to appear on the ground.

After walking for nearly an hour, colorful colors began to appear in the field of vision.

The mushroom changes color, with the light and shadow constantly changing, pink, purple, blue. A gust of wind blows, and its spores float with the wind, like clouds about to take off.

"It's most likely a poisonous mushroom." Tu Ran said.

There are many colorful mushrooms like this along the way. The deeper you go, the more these mushrooms become.

In addition to mushrooms, there are also colorful flowers, which are very tall, some are taller than Tu Ran.

The petals are also changing colors.

The leaves that set off them also turned fluorescent green at some point.

Small flying insects gradually appeared in front of me, like fireflies, but the lights they carried were not all green.

Available in various colors.

They began to circle around Tu Ran, probably observing why this uninvited guest was wearing all black.

Tu Ran felt like she had entered an elven world.

Everything around is fluorescing, changing colors.

There are fruits of various shapes on the trees, and they are all colorful.

Everything here is like the neon lights of the federal government at night.

Tu Ran was intoxicated and couldn't extricate herself.
