Chapter 9: Running Faster and Strengthening Hypnosis

"Did you guess that I wouldn't run into the dark?"

As the black-rimmed glasses approached, Muke's breathing stabilized.

If it weren't for the inappropriate smile on her face, she would probably look like a killer holding a fruit knife.

The knife stabbed out without any hesitation.

"ah!"

The girl screamed, but Muke clearly didn't hit anything.

Muke looked at the frightened girl who collapsed on the ground, and a question slowly rose in his heart.

The man with black-rimmed glasses stood up in embarrassment, not even daring to get close to Muke: "You are crazy! Why did you get a knife? You scared me to death."

She patted her chest and looked at Muke with dissatisfaction and anger in her eyes.

Muke has actually seen a ghost in Ying March, and her knowledge of ghosts is still limited to a ghost dressed in white, with long hair hanging down in front to cover the face, or a ghost dressed in blood, with a terrifying and ferocious face.

The girl in front of her seemed more like a human than the ghost in her impression.

But she didn't dare to be careless and still held up the knife.

The black-rimmed glasses rolled her eyes: "Liu Meiling, are you out of your mind? Or have you read too many ghost stories and become mentally disturbed? Fei dragged me to the rooftop in the middle of the night and left me alone. I chased after him.

You, you are like being chased by a ghost, running faster and faster, running faster and faster."

Muke did come down from the rooftop, but she went alone, and her black-rimmed glasses did not chase her, but secretly followed her.

The black-framed glasses were still repeating the words "run faster and faster." When she repeated it for the fifth time, Muke felt as if his head had been pricked by a small needle.

"Liu Meiling."

"Well, what's wrong?" Muke just felt something was wrong. Her name didn't seem to be Liu Meiling, but should be two words, but why did she agree so smoothly?

The dissatisfaction on the face of the black-rimmed glasses disappeared immediately, replaced by a smile like that of a sleepwalking girl. She grabbed Muke's arm: "Let's go back to the dormitory together, Lin Zhouzhou is still waiting for us."

Muke struggled subconsciously. She resisted the black-rimmed glasses touching her.

But after feeling the warmth of her black-rimmed glasses, she suddenly became quiet.

The temperature should not be a ghost.

But, who is Lin Zhouzhou?

She probably didn't know this person, but why did she feel that this name was so familiar? It was as if this person... had killed her before.

The knife in her hand was pulled away by the black-rimmed glasses and thrown away.

She picked it up subconsciously. She always felt that a knife gave her a greater sense of security than black-rimmed glasses.

The black-rimmed glasses man's eyes suddenly widened when he saw Muke throwing her away to pick up the knife.

What kind of obsession does this person have with knives? Why did she remember to hold the knife tightly even though she forgot her own name?

Could it be that she thinks a knife can hurt ghosts? Ridiculous!

The black-framed glasses directly kicked the knife away.

The knife fell into the dark corridor and disappeared without a trace.

The black-rimmed glasses pulled at Muke's arm again: "Oh, you dropped your knife, let's go pick it up together."

Muke looked at her and repeated, "Did I drop my knife?"

The black-rimmed glasses didn't know why, but she suddenly felt guilty. She nodded quickly and said, "Yes, it fell off by itself."

"The knife is not a ghost and will not run away on its own. It was you who lost my knife."

Black-rimmed glasses suddenly felt a strange feeling coming from her lower abdomen, but she saw that Muke had a knife in his hand at some point, and the tip of the knife was piercing her body.

She won't die, but the sharpness of the knife reminds her of some bad memories.

Muke pulled out the knife again and stabbed it into her thigh without hesitation: "A person is a warm person and cannot be killed."

The black-rimmed glasses pushed Muke away, and it was the first time she had experienced such a result under hypnosis.

It stands to reason that people hypnotized by her should lose most of their memories and only retain some basic consciousness.

And Muke's instinct really scared her.

"Have all living people become so terrible now?"

Muke shouted "Eliminate safety hazards" while poking at the black-rimmed glasses again.

Facing the sharp knife with black-rimmed glasses, he was so panicked that he forgot that he was a ghost.

She ran away subconsciously and fell down the stairs while running.

The stairs were not high, and the fall would not hurt her, but her soul became scattered due to the violent mood swings.

Looking at the black fog around him, wearing black-rimmed glasses, he remembered that he had been dead for a long time.

She suddenly gritted her teeth and no longer maintained her human form, but scattered in all directions, turning into a black mist.

"You forced me, I didn't want to do this!"

Along with her scream, black mist penetrated into Muke's eyebrows.

The last trace of clarity in Muke's eyes disappeared, his pupils became dilated, and he fell into unconsciousness.

She moved her stiff limbs like a puppet and slowly walked down the stairs.

"1, 2, 3...13 steps, that's right. There are thirteen steps on each floor."

She murmured to herself, and her body gradually changed from stiff to normal: "I am Liu Meiling, no, my name should be two words. Oh, my name is... what is it... Mu

…”

As if to prevent her from awakening, more black energy kept emerging.

Muke's lips moved, and then he said after a while: "I remembered, my name is Chen Jie."

The spread of black energy was sudden. She had no idea that things would develop like this.

Originally, she wanted Muke to be Liu Meiling's scapegoat, but Muke told her her name.

The black energy is her soul, and it is inevitably mixed with her memory, but it does not mean that it can be absorbed and digested.

It's like a primary school student listening to the teacher's lecture on advanced mathematics, but not understanding.

Muke suddenly squatted down in the darkness and began to fumble for something. When he touched the knife, he showed a satisfied smile.

Heiqi immediately shrank back. She didn't understand what kind of obsession Muke had with the knife, but she didn't dare to stop Muke from taking the knife, for fear that this person would resist her again because of the knife.

This was the first time she had encountered such a difficult person to deal with.

This was because she was cautious and used the footsteps in the stairwell as a pre-hypnotic suggestion to break Muke's psychological defense.

She couldn't imagine that if she chose to be hypnotized directly, would this person slash her with a knife?

However, fortunately there is no if.

Door 136 at the end of the first floor opened by itself. Muke walked in, locked the door, and stopped between beds No. 4 and 5.

"No. 4 or No. 5? Liu Meiling or Chen Jie? No, neither is right! I am Mu..."

A large amount of black energy emerged, and the clarity in Muke's eyes disappeared again, and she slowly lowered her head.

Except for beds No. 1 and 4, humanoid shadows slowly appeared on the other beds, but they were much smaller and more transparent than the black-rimmed glasses.

Most importantly, most of them are incomplete.

The shadow on bed No. 5 is the weakest, missing its head and lower body, and even half of its right arm is left.
