Chapter 172: Pretending to be a perpetrator

They walked silently, staring at the ground. From time to time, a moonlight shone down from the branches above, illuminating a piece of silver-blue blood on the fallen leaves.

It's really jealous. I want to get blood now, Hao Fang sighed in his heart.

It's a pity that it's still an old problem.

These blood stains are nothing new and have already dried up.

It is best to get the freshest portion when taking blood, anyway, you will have it later.

Harry saw that Hager seemed anxious.

"Will it be the werewolf who killed the unicorn?" Harry asked.

"It won't be so fast," Hager said. "It's not easy to catch a unicorn, which has a strong magic. I've never heard of unicorns getting hurt before."

They walked past a moss-covered stump. Harry could hear the gurgling water, and obviously there was a stream nearby. On the winding path, there were still spots of unicorn blood.

"Are you okay, Mr. Hao Fang?" Haeger asked in a low voice, "Don't worry, since it is so severely injured, it is impossible to go far. We can quickly - no, hide behind the tree!"

Of course Hao Fang was fine, he was just too excited to see the unicorn blood.

However, due to an accident, Hagrid grabbed Harry and Hao Fang and carried them away from the path, hiding behind a towering oak tree. He drew an arrow, put it on a stone bow, and raised it to shoot.

The three of them listened carefully. Something was whizzing on the fallen leaves nearby: the sound was like a cloak dragging on the ground. Hagrid squinted his eyes and stared at the dark path. After a few seconds, the sound gradually disappeared.

"I get it," he murmured, "there is something that didn't belong here."

"Werewolf?" Harry asked.

"Not a werewolf, nor a unicorn." Hager said affirmatively, "Okay, come with me, you have to be careful now."

Hao Fang looked in the direction where the mysterious man disappeared, but he knew what it was. Anyway, he would see it soon, so he didn't need to remind him.

They walked slower than before, pricking their ears and capturing the subtle sounds.

Suddenly, in the open space in front, they clearly saw something moving.

"Who is there?" Hagrid shouted, "Come out-I'm carrying a weapon!"

The thing walked into the open space - was it a human or a horse? Above the waist was a human, with red hair and beard, but below the waist was a shiny brown-red horse body, and a long red tail was dragged behind it.

Harry opened his mouth wide in surprise, but Hao Fang was calm and thought that this guy's blood might be useless.

The creature like the horse man is meaningless to Hao Fang.

If you have poor combat power, you always have to play the pretentious tricks and let them die.

Anyway, Hao Fang was not interested in cloning this creature.

"Oh, it's you, Ronan." Haeger breathed a sigh of relief and said, "How are you?"

He walked forward and shook hands with the horseman.

"Good evening, Hagrid," said Ronan. His voice was low and sad, "You want to shoot me with your bow and arrow?"

"I have to be alert, Ronan." Hager said, slapped his quiver, "There is a bad guy in this forest moving around. Oh, by the way, this is Harry Potter and Mr. Hao Fang, who are students and guests in the school above. Let me introduce you to both, this is Ronan, a horseman."

Harry didn't speak.

And Hao Fang also did not.

"Good evening," Ronan said to Harry, "Are you a student? Have you learned a lot in school?"

"Yeah—" Harry nodded.

"Okay, that's great." Ronan sighed. He raised his head and stared at the sky. "The Mars is bright tonight."

"Yes." Hager said, looking up at the sky, "Listen to me, Ronan, I'm glad we met you because a unicorn was injured--have you seen anything?"

Ronan did not answer immediately. He stared upward without blinking, and then sighed.

“The innocent are always the first to be victimized,” he said. “It has been like this for hundreds of years, and it is still the case.”

"Yes," said Hagrid, "but have you seen anything, Ronan? What unusual thing?"

"The Mars is bright tonight." Ronan repeated again, and Haeger looked at him impatiently.

"Extremely bright," said Ronan.

"Yes, but I mean, are there any abnormalities near our home?" Hager said, "Didn't you notice some strange movement?"

Ronan still didn't answer.

Finally, he said: "There are many secrets in the forest."

There was a sudden movement in the bushes behind Ronan, and Hagrid raised the stone bow again, but it turned out that it was just the second horseman, with black hair and black body, and looked a little rougher than Ronan.

"Hello, Bain," said Hager, "How are you lately?" "Good evening, Hager, I hope you're all right."

"It's OK. Look, I was asking Ronan just now, have you seen anything weird here recently? A unicorn was injured - do you know something?"

Bain came over and stood beside Ronan, looking up at the sky. "Mars are bright tonight." He said this.

Hao Fang's heart was also very bright. He knew that the horse man was very likely to know something through the astrological signs.

Tonight is indeed an important day of fate, and it is the first confrontation between Harry Potter and Voldemort.

However, the horse man was too good at pretending to be so arrogant that he was simply unable to communicate with the person, which made Hao Fang a little annoyed.

"We've heard this." Hagrid said irritably, "Well, if anyone of you sees something, come and tell me quickly, okay? Then let's go."

Harry and Hao Fang followed him out of the open space, turning their heads to look at Ronan and Bain until the trees blocked their sight.

"Ah, I never get straight answers from the horsemen." Hager said irritatedly, "It's so annoying that they always look up at the stars. They are not interested in anything except what is around the moon."

"Is there a lot of horses here?" Harry asked.

"Oh, there are a few...most of them stay with their own kind, but they are good-minded. Whenever I want to talk to them, they always show up in time. These horsemen are unpredictable... They know many things... but they always keep their mouths tight."

Hao Fang said intimately: "That's natural. There are never many people who reveal their destiny who have a good ending. The horse man is smart. If he knows, he will not say anything he shouldn't say at all."

The key is that maybe they think this is very good at pretending.

"You said, would the movement we heard before be a horse man?" Harry asked.

"Do you think that sounds like a horse's hoof? If you ask me, I don't think it's, that's the guy who killed the unicorn-I've never heard that sound before."

They continued to walk through the dense, dark woods. Harry always turned his head nervously and looked around. He felt very uncomfortable, as if someone was watching them. He was glad that Hagrid and his crossbow were accompanying them.

In fact, there were indeed people watching, not only Dumbledore, but also Voldemort hiding in the dark, and even the horseman were paying attention to Harry.

Only Hao Fang has speculated about this.

However, just after turning a corner on the path, Hao Fang suddenly looked up and said, "Hagir! Look! Red Sparks, everyone else is in trouble!"

"You two are waiting here!" Hagrid shouted, "Stay on the road and don't move. I'll go."

They heard him crackling through the low bushes.

Thinking of this plot point, Hao Fang knew that it was actually very close to Qiluo, Voldemort and the unicorn.

Soon, a fresh unicorn corpse will be delivered to the door.

Even if there is danger of encountering Voldemort, Voldemort is now in the weakest state and does not pose any threat to Hao Fang.

As for Qiluo, he may not be Hao's opponent.

Harry stood there, very scared.

Gradually, Hagrid walked away and they could only hear the sound of leaves rustling in the wind.

Time passes slowly every minute. Their ears seem to be much sharper than usual.

Harry could have captured every sigh of the wind, and the sound of every branch breaking. What happened? Where were the others? Finally, with a huge creaking sound, they knew that Hagrid was back, and Malfoy, Neville and Yaya were with him. Hagrid was furious.

The situation seemed like this: Malfoy made a prank. He hid behind Neville quietly and hugged him. Neville was frightened and fired a red spark.
