Chapter 340: Stubbornness, Seeking Death(2/2)

Zhuangyan Buddhist Temple is the largest Buddhist temple in Taihongxing and the most powerful Buddhist heritage.

Long before Taihongxing was swallowed into the gate of heaven, its presiding Zen Master Shantong was already one of the top masters in Taihongxing and the number one master in Buddhism, with extremely high prestige.

After coming out of the Gate of Heaven, Zen Master Shantong's realm skyrocketed, and he soon became one of the only five creators of Taihong Star, standing at the pinnacle of Taihong Star.

After thousands of years of development, Zhuangyan Buddhist Temple has firmly occupied the position of the first Buddhist temple in Taihongxing.

Except for the Pure Land Buddhist Temple, which also has the Creator, no Buddhist lineage can compare with it, and even the other two Zen temples are far from enough.

Now Zen Master Shantong has been behind the scenes and rarely deals with worldly affairs. It is said that he often retreats and is already preparing to attack the legendary eighth realm, and is about to become a being who controls the power of heaven.

Therefore, it is almost impossible for outsiders to visit Zen Master Shantong, even if a saint comes.

However, when the saint from Baiyun City came to the Zhuangyan Buddhist Temple with the string of beads given by Ye Zhuo, he was immediately welcomed in by a king of saints and several saint-level monks.

Then he was taken to a remote courtyard.

This is the place where Zen Master Shantong went into retreat to meditate and gain enlightenment.

Zen Master Shantong is an old monk who looks to be in his seventies or eighties.

However, there was no sense of decline on his body. Although his beard and eyebrows had turned white, his complexion was rosy, his skin was shiny, and he looked energetic.

"Amitabha." Zen Master Shantong put his hands together and recited the Buddha's name. His eyes fell on the beads in this saint's hand and he sighed softly, "So, the poor monk already knows this."

"Zen Master, I haven't said anything yet..." The saint didn't understand why and didn't understand what was going on at all.

"Amitabha!" Zen Master Shantong once again chanted the name of the Buddha. At the same time, a golden halo lit up behind his head, and a ball of Buddha's light shone out from it, covering the saint.

In just an instant, this saint was refined by the Buddha's light and ceased to exist.

"Amitabha!" Zen Master Shantong clasped his hands together and sighed with a look of compassion on his face, "Poor Tai Hongxing was unable to escape the fate of his life.
