Chapter 57 Afternoon Tea and EVA(2/2)
"Where's the evidence?"
he asked.
"The school board has an independent database."
EVA replied.
"School Board"
The man sneered.
These old antiques hold countless secrets. No one knows how many plans they have, and no one knows their hidden purpose behind slaying the dragon.
They always like to hide and tuck it in, just like back then.
"How do I check?"
he asked.
"Just follow that S-class guy."
EVA didn't say much.
"Yes, he is the whirlpool of fate."
The man seemed to understand.
"Why don't you?"
Several beams of top-down light appeared in front, back, left, and right of the man at the same time. In each beam of light stood a translucent figure. There was a girl in leather clothing with neat short red hair, and there was also an indifferent boy wearing sunglasses, and there was also a face.
There were monk-like men in black, a charming girl with long curly hair, and EVA, a total of six people.
They all put their hands on the man's shoulders and smiled in unison. After many years, they were still as brilliant as before.
"Our fate lies with you."
Six different voices said at the same time.
"EVA, don't play this kind of game, okay?"
The man shook his head and said.
"They are not here. They are all sleeping under the ice sea thousands of kilometers away, locked in those metal diving suits. They will not die, but they can never come back."
The other figures disappeared, leaving only EVA looking at him quietly.
“I will come again.”
The man stood up and said.
"I wish you wouldn't come."
EVA said indifferently.
"Don't be stupid, without you I'm just an empty shell."
He withdrew his palm from the void and walked outside firmly.
EVA silently watched the man's leaving figure. Compared to a month ago, his figure was much taller and straighter.
This may mean rebirth, or it may mean faster destruction.
Two illusory tears fell, after the metal door was completely closed.
