Chapter 3 Lost myself in the sounds of Hinata-chan

"So," Iruka said after hesitating for a moment, and then asked as gently as possible, "But the teacher wants to hear more about why you gave up on your dream?"

"There is no reason, that kind of thing is not my dream." Naruto shrugged, "Iruka-sensei said that Naruto is the strongest existence in the village, right?"

"Yes, I did say that." Iruka nodded.

"They're right, I'm just a jerk, and I can't possibly become Hokage, right?" Naruto asked.

"You can't say that, as long as Naruto is willing to work hard..." Iruka was also a little speechless. He probably knew Naruto's situation, but he couldn't say it clearly due to the third generation's ban.

Naruto tilted his head and looked at Iruka with a puzzled expression.

"Teacher Iruka, I don't want to be Hokage anymore, I want to change to a dream that's not that far away."

"What dream?" A trace of cold sweat broke out on Iruka's forehead. Even he himself didn't know why he would follow the words of a child.

"Probably find a virtuous wife and get married like an ordinary adult." Naruto scratched his head and said.

Iruka was frightened and a little chilled. Naruto's dream turned out to be just to become an ordinary person, such an ordinary dream that was even more out of reach for him.

My child, you are a Jinchuuriki. You cannot get married and have children in an ordinary way.

These words were stuck in Iruka's throat. Thinking of those cold eyes and rejection directed at a child, Iruka felt his eyes heat up.

In any case, Naruto had the Nine-Tails sealed in his body, protecting the people in the village. But as Naruto became a Jinchūriki, he suffered injuries that even adults would find difficult to resist.

Suddenly Iruka realized that Naruto might have grown up and understood the disgust and hatred in the eyes of the villagers. When this idea formed in his mind, Iruka couldn't help but feel a chill running down his spine.

Once the seeds of hatred are planted in a jinchuriki's heart, the consequences will be disastrous!

Iruka's eyes flashed, and when he looked again, Naruto still had that bright smile on his face.

"Naruto, this dream of yours..."

"What's wrong? It's great, isn't it? Iruka-sensei!" Naruto's smile was still bright, "By the way, Iruka-sensei is still a bachelor, right?"

"Hey!" Iruka's heart exploded upon hearing this, he clenched his fists and shouted, "Naruto!"

"Help!" Naruto shouted and ran away.

When the two were playing around, Hinata beside her was blushing so much that her whole body was bubbling with embarrassment. Her little hands were intertwined and she was muttering something in her mouth.

......

"Okay, let's stop here." Iruka lectured with a straight face, "Be sure to remember to go to school tomorrow! Naruto!"

"Yes, Mr. Iruka." Naruto lowered his head and looked like he was being taught.

Inadvertently, both of their eyes moved to Hinata, who was bowing her head and saying nothing. Hinata let out a sigh, and her face quickly turned red again.

"Naruto, just go home by yourself. Teacher, I will take Hinata home first. Is it okay for you to be alone?" Iruka said, holding his forehead.

Just as Naruto was about to respond, the panel popped up again without any warning.

[Option 1: Pursue Sakura and embark on the road of dog-licking. Reward: B-level ninjutsu.]

[Option 2: Pursue Hinata and save ten years of detours. Reward: Kyuubi’s recognition (you can use Kyuubi’s chakra as you like)]

[Note: Option 1 will give you a random B-level ninjutsu proficiency (there is a certain probability of obtaining the rare wood escape ninjutsu), option 2 is a progress reward, and the rewards will be distributed synchronously with the level of the strategy.]

Is there any need to think about this? The power of the Nine-Tails is so powerful that no B-level ninjutsu can compare with it!

Furthermore, even if there is no reward, let him choose someone from Sakura and Hinata as his target.

Naruto would also choose Hinata without hesitation. If for no other reason, he must let his children eat something soft in the future, right?

Choose the second one!

[The task is started successfully, please complete it first.]

"Iruka-sensei!" Naruto suddenly interrupted, "Let me take Hinata-san home!"

"Ah!" Hinata heard the sound, her face turned red to her ears, and she couldn't help but turn around.

"Huh?" Iruka looked at Naruto with some confusion.

"I know where Hinata's home is, and I've delivered it before." Naruto explained with a smile, "Iruka-sensei, wouldn't it be too troublesome if you didn't go the right way?"

"This..." Iruka hesitated, but when he thought of the arrogant Hyuga clan, he agreed.

"Well, Naruto, you have to protect Hinata and fulfill your obligations as a man!" Iruka said with a smile.

"Yes! I will protect Hinata-san well!" Naruto responded with a bright smile.

After Iruka left, Naruto patted Hinata on the shoulder. The latter was startled and tears welled up in her eyes.

"It's okay, I'll take you home, Hinata-san." Naruto smiled gently, and his voice became much softer.

"Excuse me, Naruto...Naruto-kun!" Hinata's voice was very low.

"Then give me your hand." Naruto said.

"Why... why?" Hinata was startled, her face turned red, and she stuttered a little.

"You have to do this when walking at night. Wouldn't it make you feel more at ease?"

"That's what I said, but...Naruto-kun's hand." Hinata hesitated.

"What's wrong? Does it bother you? I'm sorry."

"No! It won't happen." Hinata shook her head like a rattle and carefully handed her hand over, her heart pounding.

Until the warmth from the other palm came, Hinata felt like a warm current was injected into her heart, and her uneasy mood instantly calmed down a lot.

Naruto-kun didn't lie to me, I feel more at ease.

But...this is already considered holding hands, right?

What on earth are you thinking! Naruto-kun is so kind, how can he think so wildly?

Looking at Naruto who was half a body ahead of her, Hinata suddenly felt flustered. Naruto-kun is really a very gentle person at heart.

Naruto, who was walking in front holding Hinata, was completely unaware of Hinata's thoughts behind him. He felt the nine-tailed chakra overflowing from his body constantly circulating in his meridians, and he couldn't help but feel happy.

Sure enough, it worked.

"Bye! Hinata, see you tomorrow."

Naruto sent Hinata to the torii gate of Hinata's residence and stopped. If it was not necessary, the Hyuga clan did not welcome outsiders, let alone him.

"Thank you for sending me back, Naruto-kun." Hinata bowed to Naruto with red ears, which was quite decent.

"I should thank you. No matter what, Hinata, you are here to find me." Naruto waved to Hinata, "Sleep well tonight, see you tomorrow!"

After saying that, Naruto turned around and ran away. He ran towards the opposite direction of the torii and towards the darkness in the distance.
