Chapter 14 A good beginning

After a while, another grandfather came to write a letter home to his son who was far away. There was deep longing between the lines, but in order for his son to work well, he did not mention anything at home.

There is only one sentence, everything is fine.

Awen looked at her grandfather's back, feeling helpless in her heart. Everyone hoped that the couple could be in the same place, so that it would not affect their relationship, and they also hoped that they could have a happy marriage without worrying about their parents, but there are not so many things that are perfect in the world.

Reporting good things but not bad things is the love of old people for young people, a very deep love.

Soon she had no time to think about these life emotions.

She saw the bookstore owner who had previously wanted to copy books from her.

This time it was not the bookstore owner who came looking for her, but she took the initiative to find the bookstore owner.

Because she is in urgent need of money now and needs an honest job.

She hurriedly stood up from the stall, ran towards the bookstore shopkeeper, stood in front of him and bowed first.

Then he directly stated the source: "Shopkeeper Zhou, my daughter is Liang Jiawen. Last time you said that my daughter's handwriting can be copied. Is it still OK now?"

Shopkeeper Zhou looked at the little girl in front of him, then looked at the stall not far away, and suddenly remembered it.

What he can remember is her exquisite regular script. It is rare for her to show her character for the first time at such a young age.

What made him most curious was the reason why her father allowed her to copy books.

You must know that her father and brother are both scholars, and they also took some manuscripts and copied them at the bookstore.

Her father had rejected him before, and he could understand that this was so that the little girl could concentrate on her studies.

How long did it take for you to change your mind?

Shopkeeper Zhou didn't say whether he agreed or disagreed, which made Awen's heart sink.

It seems that the bookstore has found other copyists.

Her eyes darkened, she saluted Shopkeeper Zhou again, and walked back to the stall.

"Can you tell me why you changed your mind?" Suddenly, Shopkeeper Zhou spoke.

Awen turned around excitedly, with expectation: "Daddy broke his leg, and I need money."

Shopkeeper Zhou lamented that things are impermanent and looked at this outspoken girl with admiration.

"Do you know the Three Character Classic?"

"Yes."

"Write one book first and read it. Then copy other books if it suits you."

Awen's eyes were bright and her black eyes were full of joy and gratitude.

"Thank you so much, shopkeeper Zhou, I will not disappoint you." After saying that, he bowed and returned to the stall.

Shopkeeper Zhou raised his eyebrows, looked at this little girl, and raised the corners of his mouth slightly. She is really a polite girl.

Awen sat down impatiently, took a pen and began to write down the Three Character Sutra one stroke at a time on the white paper.

Since I am attracted by her handwriting, I must write well.

She is not the real Liang Jiawen, so she is mostly cautious when writing.

This is a good start, and it’s also the beginning of saving money to treat dad’s leg. Don’t mess it up.

When Liang Jiafen came back after delivering the eggs, she saw her sister writing non-stop, but there were no guests nearby. She walked over slowly and saw her sister dictating the Three-Character Sutra.

The beautiful handwriting made her envious, but there was nothing she could do.

The sisters in the family all practiced calligraphy based on the copybooks brought back by the third uncle at the same time. Among the sisters, only Awen's calligraphy was the most beautiful.

Due to the heavy workload of housework, she didn't learn much. She could only recognize words. If she wanted to write them, she could only write like a dog crawling.

Ali's writing is also good, compared to Awen's, it's still worse, but her parents are already very happy.

As for Ah Jing, she is a child spoiled by her mother. She does not write well but often messes up the words of Awen and Ali, causing them to be punished together.
