Chapter 23 The lit bat lamp

Shadow Spider just sat down.

Bruce had already spoken.

"How long can we stay in this world?" Bruce pushed a glass of water in front of Shadow Spider.

Shadow Spider's hand that originally wanted to catch the water hovered in mid-air.

He opened his eyes wide and looked at the person in front of him with disbelief.

In the end, he put down his hand, but did not take Bruce's water glass.

He now has no way of figuring out what kind of guy this person is.

Obviously he doesn't have any superpowers.

But he seems to know a lot of things happening.

Bruce just crossed his arms and leaned against the wall, quietly looking at the black and white Spider-Man.

"It seems that you know far more things than I know." He adjusted the brim of his hat and saw that the Shadow Spider sitting on the sofa was so out of tune with this colorful world.

Bruce was noncommittal about what Shadow Spider said: "The Spider-Man in this world is dead. This is something everyone knows, but now counting you, I have met two Spider-Man."

"No matter how slow I am, I still understand that this situation is impossible."

"Especially when one of the two Spider-Man's styles is completely different from this world."

He lowered his head and looked at his clothes, and then at the world around him.

Shadow Spider naturally understood what Bruce meant by what he said.

Although the world he sees is always in black and white, this does not prevent him from knowing how special he is in this world.

Just like that little square that he had always been curious about.

He can't distinguish the colors of this world.

"So you are not from Kingpin?" Shadow Spider turned around and asked Bruce.

"Will you be a super criminal?" Bruce did not directly answer Shadow Spider's question.

Anyway, another question was raised and thrown to Spider-Man.

Bruce's rhetorical question made Shadow Spider suddenly laugh.

"I like you." Shadow Spider picked up the glass of water that Bruce had handed to him this time.

"I like women." But obviously, Bruce didn't intend to follow up on what he said.

Shadow Spider was stunned for a moment, but then the guy understood what Bruce meant.

"I hate your completely humorless look. You don't look like a person from our world, nor do you look like a person from this world." He lifted his mask slightly.

Shadow Spider drank the water Bruce poured him in one gulp.

"Okay, I'll leave now." He put down the cup and rearranged his mask. Shadow Spider did not intend to stay here any longer.

The man in front of him has been completely planned in his mind to be the kind of person who will not cause harm to anyone.

Of course, if Bruce knew the classification assigned to him by Shadow Spider, he would probably disagree.

Could it be that in just a few days of this world, Bruce had already admitted many people to the hospital? He himself didn't quite know.

What's more, those people are likely to be permanently disabled, and may even have to lie in bed and be a vegetable for the rest of their lives.

"If possible, I would like to see if we can become friends." Shadow Spider looked back at Bruce as he walked away.

Bruce didn't answer.

Shadow Spider didn't feel any loss. He directly shot the spider silk from his wrist and left here.

Bruce quietly closed the door to his room and restarted his training plan.

Compared to the previous middle-aged Spider-Man with red and blue colors and a fat belly, Bruce has a better impression of this Shadow Spider-Man.

Maybe it's because both of them are pretty good detectives.

Or maybe it's because the Shadow Spider-Man is less powerful than Peter Benjamin Parker.

But only sometimes.

Some people really can't think about it casually.

Bruce, who was just about to pick up his training plan again, saw an extremely familiar symbol appear on the sky that was beginning to darken in the distance.

In this world, the bat lamp actually appears.

Wiping his hands, Bruce already knew who had done this.

Is there anyone else besides the Spider-Man who was asked away by him a few questions before?

"I miss it a bit." Thomas saw the bat lights in the sky with the help of Bruce's eyes.

"Trouble is coming." Bruce knew very well that there was absolutely no way that guy was looking for him just to answer his question.

It is very possible that they got some important information from Okmax, or encountered some major setbacks.

"Are you going?" Thomas felt that Bruce should not pass now.

He only had the equipment he brought, and nothing else, no logistical support, and no one to provide him with off-site help.

It is obviously not a wise move to go to a battlefield full of superpowers in this attitude.

Turning around and walking towards the bathroom, Bruce responded to the Batman in his mind.

"My current name is Bruce, but my identity is Batman."

"How can a Batman not pass by when someone else lights up the Bat-Light?"

Thomas didn't find anything surprising about Bruce's choice.

Rather, this is the choice Batman will make when seeing the Bat-Light.

On the other side, Gwen and Miles now looked at what Peter Parker had done and were really confused.

"Are you sure he will come here? I think my method is more reliable. Let's find a place first, fix the key, and then fix it all." Gwen felt that Peter Parker had done this.

It's a fantasy. Just turn on the bat light and someone will come over to assist them.

How could this kind of plot that only appears in comic books appear in the real world?

Although the plot of them traveling to another world is quite comic book-like.

But at least it has scientific basis.

But Batman is not a person who exists in their universe.

"Believe me, he will definitely come, as long as he is still a die-hard Batman fan." Peter Parker spoke to Gwen quite confidently.

Gwen could only nod in agreement.

It is this female Spider-Man who obviously does not believe that such a Batman exists in this world.

"There really is a Batman. I saw him when I was working with this Peter. He is indeed dressed as Batman." Miles quickly explained to Gwen the scene he had seen.

Although the bat at that time really didn't seem to have a good impression of him.

But how could such a thing be said and told to Gwen?

"Here he comes, he comes, he's here!" Suddenly Peter Parker changed from his previous anxious look.

Waved to Gwen and Miles again and again.

When Gwen and Miles walked over, they found a figure already standing upstairs opposite them.

"WOW." It wasn't until she saw Bruce's real appearance that the female Spider-Man now believed that there really was a Batman in this world.

Everything that Peter Parker said before is true.
