Chapter 77 The Embrace of the Viper

After personally practicing the sneaking skills taught by Van Cleef, Raging Waves has never been discovered by monsters.

The two passed through layers of monster interceptions, and finally found the boss here in the deepest part of the Poison Fang Abyss, one of the Four Poison Fang Kings, Cobrian.

He is followed by three ordinary monsters called mutant pythons.

Van Cleef went over and followed the same old routine. He first knocked Cobryan unconscious with a sap, then eliminated the three mutated giant pythons, and finally fought the boss.

The boss is still quite powerful. Nu Tao is beating Wrath while giving Van Cleef milk and blood.

This thing can also turn into a big snake, and it's huge, but in the game, big size doesn't necessarily mean it's powerful.

The two of them joined forces and successfully killed him without any effort.

Nu Tao's body flashed with light and he was directly promoted to level 22. Unfortunately, he could only finish the dungeon and go back to learn skills.

After touching the body, a piece of blue leg leather armor jumped out.

【Fang Leggings】

I won’t mention the attributes. The key is that this thing is a set of components called [Snake’s Embrace].

The Defias leather armor set bonus on my body is physical, while the attribute of Viper's hug set is healing, which is more suitable for the current situation.

Van Cleef gave up directly, and [Fang Leggings] was pocketed by Raging Waves.

Jump off the high platform next to it and return directly to the entrance of the Fang Abyss.

Turning back along the stream, the two met a neutral turtle with a yellow name: Kresh.

This guy may be the only honest person in the Wailing Cave corrupted by nightmares. Nu Tao remembered that it only dropped a blue shield, and neither he nor Van Cleef could use it.

After talking to Da Fan, the two of them let this honest turtle go.

Apart from Kresh, there are only some non-elite mutated crocodiles in Rapids Valley.

Facing ordinary monsters, the two of them didn't even bother to activate stealth, and just killed them by chopping melons and vegetables.

In addition to providing the mutated leather required for the mission, the mutated crocodile did not even slow down the two of them.

Continue walking forward and come to a place called Eternal Cliff. The clear stream splashes down from the cliff, which is the source of the rapids valley.

There is a new kind of monster here, the mutant shambling.

This thing looks similar to the forest elf on Teldrassil, like a gibbon covered with leaves.

But the difference is that the leaves on the mutant staggerer look gray and dim, looking very unhealthy.

At the same time, it is also the target of the mission [Clear Mutants], so you definitely can’t miss it.

Fighting and moving forward, a narrow passage ahead was actually blocked by a few plants.

This thing is called a mutant whipper, and it looks like a small piranha that can run.

If there is no mission, don't bother to fight, just sneak past.

However, I don’t know if it is because plants are particularly sensitive to subtle vibrations on the ground, but these ordinary mobs with only level 16 actually managed to detect the stealth of Raging Waves.

There was no choice but to fight. Each of these little flowers dropped a forest mushroom, which could be used to restore health. Nu Tao looked at it but didn't dare to try the taste.

Keep going forward, and the map changes to the Gale Cleft. There is a fork here. Follow the guide and choose the left side.

Walking in on the left is a relatively empty hall, where fang druids, mutant staggerers, and mutant whippers are scattered here.

Among the monsters, there is one that is particularly eye-catching.

Mutated Elf Dragon.

That's right, this is the second honest person in the Wailing Cave besides Kresh, a neutral rare elite.

This guy only dropped one wand, so there was no need to fight it.

At this point, they had killed enough mutated staggerers, so the two of them had nothing to do and relied on stealth to continue walking inside.

At the second fork in the road, they chose the left and walked to the end. The two of them discovered Pisas, the second of the Four Heavenly Kings with Venomous Fangs entrenched here.

Next to this guy is a fang druid boy.

As usual, kill the sap boss first, cut off the wings, and then fight the boss.

As the Four Heavenly Kings of Fangs, Pisas holds two machetes. He is more like a warrior than a Druid of Fangs.

Moreover, he can also use the warrior's Thunder Strike skill, which while causing damage, greatly reduces Van Cleef's attack speed and movement speed.

This makes Da Fan very uncomfortable.

Even so, this guy wasn't too difficult to fight, and the two of them managed to kill him without any danger.

Touch the body.

[Fang Armor], components of the Viper's Embrace set.

Van Cleef gave up and gave it directly to Nu Tao.

Continue to the left, and mutant fanged wind snakes begin to appear in front of you. This is the last goal of the mission "Clear Mutants".

If someone asks what is scarier than a snake, then Nu Tao will answer: "A flying snake."

I don’t know what kind of mental state the Blizzard designers had in creating this creature. Why don’t you give the big spider wings?

While fighting the mutated fanged wind snake, Nu Tao saw a row of man-made fences. Behind the fence was a dark purple thunder lizard named Skam, and two fanged druids were guarding in front of the fence.

This thunder lizard.

It's the boss.

Since you are not a peace-loving person, don't blame me for being ruthless.

Raging Waves and Van Cleef first deal with the two fang druid guards.

These two people were so proud that they actually released a [Venomous Embrace] component: the fang gloves came out.

Naturally, I was accepted by the angry waves.

Three out of five, it looks like I can get the set together this time!

Suppressing their excitement, the two began to deal with Scam.

Perhaps because of his racial talent, as a beast, this guy can actually release chain lightning.

If I remember correctly, the previous enemies that could use spells were all humanoid creatures, with the exception of Skam.

The damage of its chain lightning is not high. Van Cleef stood up and hit, and the angry waves milked blood, and this guy actually turned around and ran away.

But it was surrounded by a fence, so where could it go? Van Cleef chased after it and chopped it down several times.

【Glowing Lizard Cloak】

A blue cloth armor cloak.

"It's not as good as the brotherhood cape I'm wearing, so I'll give it to you." Van Cleef said and chose to give up.

With Nu Tao's shamelessness and a bit of embarrassment, he has taken four pieces of equipment so far, but Da Fan has gained nothing.

You must be conscientious in everything you do. If there is equipment that can be used by a large scale, you must get it first, and you cannot let others follow you and work in vain.

Keep going forward, there is a cliff ahead and there is no road!

The opposite side of the cliff is the top of the Eternal Life Cliff, and it looks like you can jump over it.

Nu Tao looked down. Below was the source of the torrent valley. If he lost his footing and fell, it would be a waste of time to run back.

To be on the safe side, Nu Tao drank a bottle of swiftness potion and instantly felt extremely light and agile.

Taking advantage of the acceleration effect of the potion, Nu Tao ran two steps quickly, jumped up, and jumped to the cliff of immortality without any danger.

Van Cleef also jumped over. With his skills, there is no need to use potions as an off-board move.

Climbing up a steep slope, Serfendis, the third of the Four Venomous Fang Kings, is guarding here. Opposite him is another boss, the Immortal Waldan.

First kill the wandering mutant poisonous wind snake, and then kill Serfendis.

This guy will cast a healing spell, and it won't be that difficult after Van Cleef interrupts it with a kick.

Suit Suit!

Living up to expectations, this guy really contributed the fang foot pads of the Viper's Embrace set.

Nu Tao took off his Defias Leather Armor suit and put on the Viper's Embrace, triggering the suit's effect.

(2) Set: Increase the damage caused by natural spells and effects, up to 7 points.

(3) Set: Staff skill increased by 2 points.

(4) Set: Increase the healing effect caused by spells, up to 11 points.

This attribute is simply tailor-made for druids!

All that's left now is a fang belt to complete the set!

Obviously, the fang belt is in the hands of the last four fang kings.
Chapter completed!
