14. A pair of evil eyes 5

For some reason, Han Jing'er had a very strange feeling, as if she was melancholy, as if she was lost, and as if she was nothing. Han Jing'er just felt that her heart was very empty, very empty.

Cheng Liang's hand still stayed on Han Jing'er's face and never let go.

In broad daylight, on the main street with people coming and going.

Although Han Jing'er was only 10 years old, when Cheng Liang's slender bones and slightly pale fingers touched the skin on her face, she still felt that she was burned.

It was as if there was an inexplicable flame that quickly entered her body from Cheng Liang's fingertips.

Han Jing'er's body couldn't help but tremble slightly. Then, Han Jing'er instinctively threw her head and fiercely shook Cheng Liang's hand away.

Cheng Liang raised his head and laughed "haha".

Han Jing'er felt that Cheng Liang's laughter was malicious and full of evil, as evil as the sounds made by villains in movies.

Cheng Liang was laughing happily, when suddenly, as if his face changed, his face suddenly pulled down, and his laughter suddenly stopped. He glanced at Han Jing'er, turned around, and left.

Cheng Liang didn't even look back, and strode away with such determination that he never looked back at Han Jing'er again.

From then on, Han Jing'er never saw Cheng Liang again, nor heard any news about him.

Twelve years have passed, and Cheng Liang's appearance has become blurry in Han Jing'er's memory. She can't remember what he looked like, but his evil eyes have been lingering in her mind.

A lot has happened in 12 years.

When Han Jing'er was 18 years old, her father Han Zhenming's garment factory ran into big trouble.

Han Zhenming had one of his kidneys removed due to a kidney tumor. While he was hospitalized, the factory was managed by an assistant whom he trusted for many years.

The assistant was honest, but his work ability was limited and he failed to handle many things well. As a result, during the period of his management, the business of the garment factory was a bit chaotic.

After Han Zhenming recovered, he returned to the garment factory and struggled to find out the boss. Unexpectedly, he signed a large contract with a company. Due to negligence, the other party took advantage of the loophole, and the other party took a huge amount of money and ran away.

That money has not been recovered yet.

Immediately afterwards, a series of problems arose in the garment factory. Han Zhenming kept throwing away money, but kept keeping money. Finally, he ran out of money and threw it away, and he was in debt.

This debt is not tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, or millions, but tens of millions.

Because of the high debts and lack of funds around, the customer base has basically disappeared, and many employees have also left.

Han Zhenming was so anxious and exhausted all day and night working on the garment factory. If he couldn't think of a solution, the career he had worked so hard for would be completely over.

What Han Zhenming lacks is not tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, or millions, but tens of millions.

The more anxious he became, the less he could find a solution. The only thing Han Zhenming could do was to drink to numb himself. As a result, he drank too much and couldn't think about it for a while, so he ran to the tallest commercial building in the county and jumped off.

A week later, Han Jing'er's mother was hit by a car while crossing the road because she was too sad and in a daze, and died on the spot.

Han Jing'er was reduced from a charming young lady to a fatherless and motherless orphan.

She took the admission notice from the Fashion Design College of C University in the provincial capital, knelt in front of her parents' graves, and cried like a mess - she was admitted to her ideal university, but her parents passed away and her family was already in ruins.

Money reading.

Just when Han Jing'er was desperate, someone unknown sent a sum of money anonymously from the United States.

Han Jing'er took the money and paid her tuition, and the rest was enough for her living expenses for a year.

Every year after that, the same amount of money was sent from the United States. This money helped her finish four years of college. After graduating from college, Han Jing'er stayed in the provincial capital and never returned to the small county town.
