Chapter 124: The Seven Ancient Buddhas
The quaintly dressed Buddha in the middle smiled and said, "It's us."
Xuankong looked around and saw that these three great Buddhas were indeed dressed differently from those of the people today, and even their appearances were similar. He guessed: "The great Buddhas are not from my Eastern Land, but from the ancient Western people."
The three great Buddhas did not answer, but obviously agreed to Xuankong's inference. Xuankong plucked up his courage and asked again: "You are disciples of the two Western saints!"
The Buddha in the middle showed surprise and suspicion. Unexpectedly, the little Taoist priest Xuankong was so broad that he even knew the two Western saints who had already lived in seclusion. He nodded and said, "Yes, my Vipa corpse is the guide of the saint."
There is another allusion involved. The previous battle for the Gods of the Great Tribulation had nothing to do with the two Western saints. However, they wanted to develop the sect, but they had to get involved. By the end of the great tribulation, they became the final winner.
The two of them started to deceive the secrets of heaven, and they could naturally catch fish in troubled waters during the great disaster.
But after the catastrophe, who did not know? They almost destroyed the Jie Sect's entire family and sent the Jie Sect's immortals to the West or sent them to the Heavenly Court to the Gods. The Master of Tongtian naturally hated them for secretly releasing Duobao, the great disciple who was pressed under the Qilin Cliff.
The Supreme Taoist ancestor came out of Han Pass and sent the Taoist Master Duobao to turn Hu into Buddha. This is the earliest prototype of Sakyamuni Tathagata. As for the later Tathagata who understood the wonderful principles of heaven and earth, saw through the same principles inside and outside, and reincarnated himself as the Sakyamuni clan to realize the truth under the Saha tree and open up Mahayana Buddhism, that is another story.
I also want to talk about another primitive saint who was named the winner in the Great Tribulation of the Gods, but actually lost half of the Apocalypse Sect, so he would not be willing to show weakness. These direct disciples under the Two Western Saints were killed by him.
Therefore, even though these three great Buddhas still have some spiritual wisdom left in the world and refused to disperse, they can only hide in the Mongolian world opened by the two Western saints and dare not stand out.
Of course, these stories are a bit secret, and not many people knew about them. Which scriptures from later generations dared to be published? Xuankong didn't know that, but based on his previous life and experience in this life, he could some answers in his heart.
He heard the great Buddha in the middle that he thought he was a Vipa corpse, and he said more confidently: "The great Buddha in the middle should be the Vipa corpse Buddha, the head of the seven ancient Buddhas, the second corpse abandoned Buddha on the left, and the remaining one is naturally the third ancient Buddha, Visafu Buddha!"
The three big Buddhas looked at the confident smiles on Xuan Kong's faces and couldn't help but nod and said, "You are indeed smart!"
This Vipa Buddha is a great disciple of the Western guided saints. It is said that the time when he was born has gone through ninety-one kalpas, and it is impossible to calculate the specific years and months. His name of Buddha is translated as Contemporary. As if the moon is full and wisdom is full, the clouds are everywhere, and the soul is full and the confusion is lost, the pure view is pure.
The corpse abandoned Buddha is the second of the seven Buddhas. The original meaning of the Buddha is flame, also known as holding a bun. It means that the wisdom of non-discrimination is the most respected and is at the top of the mind. Before the past thirty great kalpas of heaven and earth, it was the ancient Buddha of Buddhist corpse abandoned Buddhas and became the ancestor of all Buddhas.
Another Vishafu Buddha, whose name means freedom all over the world. It means that all afflictions are eliminated and all places are free. It is also the last ancient Buddha in the solemn kalpa mentioned by the Buddha, and he has also become the ancestor of all Buddhas.
These three great Buddhas were once the ancient ancestors who commanded the ten thousand Buddhas of Lingshan. For some reason, they can only live in the Meng Realm, and they don’t know what Xuankong has to say.
Xuan Kong stared at the three ancient Buddhas without blinking, and asked in confusion: "All the great Buddhas have incredible magic power, but why do you still need to summon me to come here?"
According to the principle, since these three ancestors of Ten Thousand Buddhas still have a trace of wisdom but dare not return to the three realms, they must have a reason that they cannot appear.
But what is the matter that makes them not care about protecting themselves and appear to summon themselves?
Vipa Siren Buddha sighed and said, "The great disaster has arrived. This disaster is the disaster of our Buddhists. How can we, as ancient Buddhas, stand by and watch?" Xuankong was almost frightened when he heard that the great disaster of heaven and earth had arrived.
When he heard Vipa Siren Buddha say that this was a Buddhist calamity, he breathed a sigh of relief and said, "The one who commands Lingshan is now the Tathagata of Sakyamuni. He had Daluo Dao practice in ancient times, and was only one step away from Hunyuan Dao Fruit. All the great Buddhas can rest assured."
The Buddhas such as Vipa Simon Buddha were no longer surprised why Xuankong could know that Sakyamuni Tathagata had a quasi-holy path. Since he even knew the two Western saints who were kept in their doors, it would be no surprise to add a Sakyamuni Tathagata.
Instead of answering Xuankong's words, Vishafu Buddha asked, instead, "Are you a Taoist disciple, do you know the principle of the balance between yin and yang in heaven and earth?"
Xuankong nodded. He had practiced Taoism for such a long time, and it would be too unreasonable if he didn't even know this.
Vishefu Buddha's Way: "The saint once said that the way of Tao gives birth to one, one gives birth to two, two gives birth to three, and three gives birth to all things. Tao is the way of heaven. One is the way of humor. The two are yin and yang. The three are heaven, earth and man." However, the people here not only refer to humans, but generally refer to all sentient beings living in the Pangu world.
"Under the way of heaven, there is yin, there is yang, and there is only Buddha. The great sage of Moluo, the demon world, has an enemy with Shakyamuni Tathagata, but now he has transformed into the Buddha Wutian and has also cultivated the quasi-holy path."
Xuankong was surprised and said, "What, Buddha Wutian?"
He really didn't expect that the Buddha Wutian he met had such a big background. There was no way, and what he collected and read in his previous life were mostly Chinese classical works such as "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio", "The Legend of the White Snake", and "Journey to the West".
No ancient book mentioned the name of Wutian Buddha. At first he thought he was an unknown man, but he didn't expect that he could really be on par with the Tathagata of Lingshan.
The Vipa Buddha was also shocked and asked, "Have you seen Wu Tian?"
Xuan Kong raised his eyebrows and said uncertainly: "I don't know this, but there is indeed a group of demons making trouble in the world under his banner."
He told the story of traveling around the clouds all the way down to Laoshan to the three ancient Buddhas. The three ancient Buddhas nodded and said, "Yes, this is Wutian's subordinates. They have begun to get involved in the Three Realms."
Xuankong originally believed that the ancient Buddha said that this was a Buddhist calamity, but now he heard that the ambition of Wutian Buddha was in the three realms, and he couldn't help but feel a little nervous. He once heard that Wutian said that if he wanted to let the immortals and Buddhas in the three realms of the world suffer from disasters, even the Taoist traditions of the world were not spared. Then wouldn't his Laoshan Sect be included in it?
At this time, he became anxious and asked quickly: "Dear Buddhas, can there be a way to restrain that Buddha without the law?"
