Chapter 41 Dean's Counseling Session(1/2)

Chapter 41 Dean’s ‘Counseling Session’

Outside the interrogation room.

Anthony put his hands on his chest and was waiting for Dean.

"Agent Anthony, you look a little tired and need a cup of coffee."

Dean greeted him warmly, showing no embarrassment at all after beating up Anthony's men.

"The coffee you have here doesn't taste good." Anthony put down his hand and pointed at the LCD screen outside the interrogation room: "It seems that your injury is recovering well."

On the LCD screen, the process of Dean knocking down two idiots was being replayed, with one punch and one kick, his shots were clean and neat, perfectly demonstrating his strength and speed.

"."

When did there be an LCD monitor here?

Dean was very thick-skinned and directly changed the subject: "Harry said that you have commandeered the interrogation room since last night and it hasn't ended yet. It seems that the interrogation did not go very smoothly?"

"It went well, but it's not what we wanted." Anthony took out a document from the side and threw it to Dean: "Amodeo passed all the crimes on Bill. This is the testimony."

Dean picked up the file and flipped through it quickly.

The testimony was written in a very sloppy way, and the general idea was:

When Amodeo was in high school, he came into contact with the darknet by chance.

Because of curiosity.

He secretly purchased some alternative videos to watch.

Not long ago.

Bill suddenly found him, threatened him with the purchase records of those videos, forced him to commit three crimes, and provided full criminal guidance.

besides.

For Lucifer Games Organization.

Amodeo said that he was just a forced puppet and a victim. Now his soul has been greatly traumatized, and he doesn't know anything about that damn game organization.

No wonder Anthony said it was not what they wanted.

Dean put down the document: "If these testimonies are used to testify, how long will Amodeo be sentenced?"

"Amodeo provided the chat records in which Bill threatened him. If the judge accepts these testimonies and the guilty plea, he will become an accessory from the principal offender and the sentence will not exceed ten years."

Anthony tiredly took out a cigarette and lit it.

"And his family still has some money. Although Amodio cannot be released on bail, there are many ways to reduce his sentence. From my experience, Amodio will not be in jail for more than five years."

Is it so short?

Dean also took out a cigarette and started puffing away.

Three fresh lives were exchanged for the criminal's sentence of less than five years.

This is very American.

Moreover, the prisons here have completely different treatments for those with money and those without money, not to mention the large number of private prisons.

However, this has nothing to do with Dean.

He is not a person who hates evil, and he came here just to get more information about the Lucifer Game Organization from Anthony.

Amodio said nothing.

On Anthony's side, there are also harvests from Bill's family.

Just when Dean wanted to ask.

Anthony spoke first: "I thought you would ask why we were so gentle with Amodio."

Dean shrugged, "Okay, why?"

The FBI doesn't break as many rules as the detective bureau.

They have many ways to make ordinary criminals lose their citizenship. After that, the criminals are no different from pigs and dogs, and they can be manipulated by others.

So the current situation is not normal.

Anthony stamped out the cigarette butt: "You will know if you go to the observation window and take a look. In another hour, we will have interrogated him for twelve hours. We must hand over Amodio to you and then leave."

Is there such a thing?

Dean was curious, so he walked to the observation window and looked inside.

There were only two people in the interrogation room.

One is a thin, blond, white young man.

He lowered his head and could not clearly see the expression on his face, but his cuffed hands had already indicated his identity.

This is Amodio, the game apostle chosen by Bill, codenamed Kaz. He is also a rich second generation in Los Angeles, with a family fortune exceeding tens of millions and a small amount of capital.

Dean didn't expect him to be so young.

Next to Amodio, there was a middle-aged man wearing a suit and gold-rimmed glasses.

There was a black briefcase at the man's feet. He looked like a lawyer.

He was sitting next to Amodio.

Even though there were only two of them inside at the moment, they still held a pen in one hand and a notebook in the other, and there was a recorder hanging directly on the chest, giving people a meticulous look.

"The FBI interrogates prisoners and allows lawyers to be present?"

Dean looked at Anthony suspiciously.

This is outrageous.

Anthony added another cigarette and looked melancholy: "The man sitting next to Amodio is a full-time lawyer of the Los Angeles Trucking Association. He was hired by Amodio's father."

"Very powerful?"

"It's not great, but it's troublesome."

Anthony's sunken brown eyes showed dissatisfaction: "The Trucking Association affects a lot of votes, so the president of the association has a good relationship with many congressmen. Although they cannot directly influence our FBI, they can influence those congressmen and our direct superiors!"

"He didn't say a word, and that damn lawyer was there, so we couldn't use many methods!" Anthony sighed.

The FBI is really awesome.

But even though he was greeted by someone from above, he couldn't do anything.

"Let's do this, Anthony." Dean crossed his hands and pressed his fingers: "I will help you solve the little trouble in front of you. If it is convenient for you, give me a share of what you gained at Bill's house."

"are you serious?"

"Of course, if you agree, give me twenty minutes."

"OK, happy cooperation!"

Anthony originally agreed to Dean's coming because he wanted to use the unfair facts in front of him to stimulate him, a young man, so that he could accept Dean later.

Now that Dean suddenly wants to help, Anthony naturally won't refuse.

Regardless of whether it succeeds or not, Dean's methods can be observed up close.

Anthony lowered his head and muttered twice on his collar, and then the door to the interrogation room opened: "Go in, Dean, as long as you don't do anything, you can do whatever you want!"

"etc."

Dean took out his pistol from behind, disassembled it, fiddled with the parts, reassembled it, and then inserted it into his waist.

"Okay, remember to turn off the surveillance and recording for me, and turn it on again when it's critical." Dean raised his eyebrows at Anthony, and then walked into the interrogation room.

Hear movement.

Amodeo still lowered his head.

The middle-aged lawyer glanced at Dean and calmly picked up his watch: "You have fifty-seven minutes. If it exceeds this time, I will file a lawsuit against your FBI branch!"

"Feel sorry."

Dean reached out and dragged the long table on the other side to the lawyer and Amodio: "I am not from the FBI, but a psychological counseling therapist."

"Hey, what's going on?"

The lawyer's face showed anger: "My employer does not need psychological counseling!"

Amodio, who had always lowered his head, couldn't help but raise his head when he heard the exclamations of the lawyers beside him and the dragging of the table, and looked at Dean with bloodshot eyes.

He was not as nervous as the lawyer.

The FBI's helplessness convinced him that the organization had not broken its promise.

His father did not have the ability to find a full-time lawyer from the Grand Guild when the election was approaching!

"In his testimony, he stated that he suffered a lot of mental trauma and we need to evaluate him." Dean explained softly in front of the unfaithful lawyer.

"Then what are you doing by pulling the table over?" As the lawyer was saying, he suddenly glanced at the surveillance room in the interrogation room, which had been turned off at some point. He immediately realized that something was wrong and his voice weakened.

Dean's tone was still gentle: "Don't be nervous, Mr. Lawyer, as a professional psychological counselor, I need a table with some common psychological counseling props. Isn't it normal?"
