Chapter 25 Good Dad, Bad Dad

I don't know whether it was because he was excited by the mention of his daughter or because he talked too much for a long time. The instructor suddenly stopped talking and coughed violently. The bed also shook with his cough.

Seeing the instructor's pale face with large beads of sweat and the veins on his neck bulging from coughing, Shan Sihua, who had never seen such a situation before, was frightened and quickly shouted for help.

The two people who had been waiting outside heard the call for help and rushed in. When they saw the instructor's appearance, Qian Xiaohong hurriedly turned around to call the doctor and ran and shouted in the corridor at the top of his lungs.

Gao Changjiang supported the instructor, patted his back with his hand, and at the same time looked at Shan Sihua with slight dissatisfaction.

Soon the doctor came, and after a period of frantic resuscitation, the instructor's face returned to a trace of rosiness. But the doctor's words before leaving made everyone's hearts freeze to the freezing point.

"The patient is already dying. You prepare his funeral arrangements."

The doctor's calm words directly declared that instructor Yao's time in the world was running out. Qian Xiaohong could no longer control her emotions, hugging instructor Yao who was still in a coma and crying, and kept calling instructor Yao's name.

Such a scene made Shan Sihua at a loss and could only stay aside and stare. Gao Changjiang winked and motioned for him to come to the corridor outside, and asked in a low voice: "Do you understand now?"

Seeing Shan Sihua bowing his head in embarrassment, Gao Changjiang stopped talking and asked, "Didn't you keep saying you wanted an instructor? Do you want to do something for him?"

"You tell me what you want to do." Shan Sihua nodded without hesitation.

Seeing the miserable appearance of the instructor, Shan Sihua's heart felt like a knife. At this moment, let alone helping, even if he went through fire and water, he would not hesitate to agree.

A trace of imperceptible approval flashed in Gao Changjiang's eyes, he glanced at Qian Xiaohong who was crying in the ward, turned his head and whispered in Shan Sihua's ear: "Yao Jianping has always wanted to get Tingting's forgiveness. I hope

I met her when she was dying. Unfortunately, that girl was very stubborn and refused to come to the hospital. Now the only one who can talk to her is you."

"Then where is Mengting? Take me there quickly." Shan Sihua asked knowingly. For this request, he was 90% sure to persuade Mengting to come to the hospital.

While saying this, Shan Sihua's mind flashed back to the scene that night with Yao Mengting in the gravel pit hut. In order to prevent the instructor from leaving any regrets, he was prepared to tell a white lie when necessary.

"Yes." Gao Changjiang nodded, turned around and walked into the ward, discussing something with Qian Xiaohong.

Fifteen minutes later, the car carrying Shan Sihua and Gao Changjiang turned back and drove away to Lianglong Town in the wind and lightning.

Along the way, neither of them spoke much. Gao Changjiang concentrated on holding the steering wheel and increasing the speed to the limit.

The sudden turn of events plunged Shan Sihua into immense grief. He repeatedly thought about how to persuade Yao Mengting to see Yao Mengting for the last time when he saw her.

By the time Gao Changjiang led Shan Sihua back to Lianglong Town and found the home of the instructor's mother and knocked on the door, it was already time for lunch.

When she heard that her son was dying, the old woman couldn't help crying out loud and bursting into tears. It was hard for anyone to accept the grief of a white-haired person sending a black-haired person.

Gao Changjiang sighed a few words and helped the old lady aside to rest. Yao Mengting continued to finish her lunch as if nothing happened.

When she first saw Shan Sihua, Yao Mengting's eyes shone, and then when she saw Gao Yangjiang accompanying her, the joy on her face immediately dimmed again.

The matter was so important that Gao Changjiang didn't want to waste time talking to her, so he retreated downstairs to wait, leaving the persuasion work to Shan Sihua.

Shan Sihua, who was originally not good at speaking, told the story in a nutshell, hoping that Mengting could see her father for the last time.

Unexpectedly, Mengting didn't believe Shan Sihua's introduction at all. She pursed her lips and said angrily: "I won't go, he just wants to trick me into meeting him, and he wants to tell me those useless truths.

I dont go."

Upon seeing this, Shan Sihua took the trouble to describe what he saw in the hospital, but Mengting refused to go and threatened to coax Gao Changjiang away from downstairs.

Shan Sihua was worried because of Mengting's attitude. Lianglong Town was an hour's drive away from the city at the fastest. If he continued to mess around like this, he might not have enough time.

"Why are you so stubborn? No matter how much he is your biological father, you can't just take a last look at him?" Shan Sihua patiently continued to enlighten.

"He is my biological father, but he is not a good father." Yao Mengting blinked mischievously and mumbled nonchalantly.

"Who are you to judge whether he is a good father or a bad father?" Shan Sihua became a little anxious and said angrily: "No matter whether he is good or bad, you should go and see him at a time like this."

"Who do you have to teach me a lesson? What qualifications do you have to yell in front of me." Yao Mengting replied not to be outdone: "Don't think that because you have helped me twice, I have to listen to you in everything."

The old lady who had been watching silently by the side saw the two people confront each other and insisted on her own opinion, so she hurried over to say some smooth words. But Mengting refused to listen and stubbornly growled in a low voice: "I can agree to anything, but I can't do this. Who?

I told him to ignore me since childhood, but I won’t go.”

It seemed that Mengting had taken the weight and became determined. She had to think of another way and use another word.

Shan Sihua raised his head, took a few deep breaths, smoothed his tone, and slowly continued: "Tell me, what do you want to do before you are willing to see your father? If you ask for any conditions, I will definitely comply with them."

Hearing this, Yao Mengting broke away from the old lady's hand, stared at Shan Sihua's face with interest, and asked without answering: "What does you have to do with our family? My father is sick and it's worth running around with him."

Exit. Don’t you have any ideas?”

These words made Shan Sihua furious. How long had it been before Meng Ting was still so stubborn? Looking at that childish face, he really wanted to punch her.

But when she thought of the instructor who was thousands of miles away and was dying, and how desperate she was to see her daughter, Shan Sihua suppressed her anger.

You can't take action, as this will only be counterproductive and won't help.

After taking several deep breaths, Shan Sihua finally suppressed his anger. He wanted to turn around and leave, not wanting to see Yao Mengting's face again. But a sense of loyalty in his chest reminded him that he couldn't do this.

In order to fulfill the instructor's dying wish, you have to try again and work hard no matter what. Never give up until the last moment.

After thinking about it, Shan Sihua bit the bullet and almost begged: "It doesn't matter what you think of me, but he is still your biological father. Please come with us. This will make everyone feel better."

At this moment, the iron security door was knocked loudly, and an anxious male voice came from outside.

"Open the door, open the door quickly."
