Chapter 32(2/2)
"not good."
Roger could see Angelica's frustration, and he said, "Your voice sounds nice."
"Is that?" Angelica's eyes lit up.
"It's this song that's not good, it's not for you."
"real?"
"You can definitely sing a song."
"But I don't know any other songs."
"I'll teach you a song." Roger was dedicated to comforting Gillica. He regretted it as soon as he said it, because he himself was not good at singing.
But he looked at Angelica's expectant eyes and did not change his words.
He searched for memories and an inexplicable song came to his mind.
He sang: "Later, I finally learned how to love..."
He sang a sentence and stopped.
Angelica didn't urge her, and she kept her eyes wide and waited for him.
Roger frowned, and he realized that he was singing Chinese just now.
He said: "I sing in dialect."
"Yeah." Angelica didn't doubt it.
Roger knew that he actually didn't need to explain. Nowadays, everyone's language may be different. It's not surprising to hear others speak languages that they don't understand.
What he had a headache now was that he found that he could not teach Angelica to sing this song.
She couldn't even master Latin, let alone Chinese. I guess she might not be able to learn it until the end of time.
Roger frowned and wanted to translate the song into Norman French, but he found it too difficult. The meaning could be turned over, but the rhythm and tone were completely unmatched. Those composers had two brushes, but he didn't.
Angelica still didn't urge her, just looked at him quietly.
Roger was a little embarrassed and said, "I'll teach you how to hum."
"OK."
So Roger sang in his heart:
Finally I realized in my tears
Some people will no longer miss it
Never come back again
There is a boy who loves that girl
But he just hummed.
Angelica hums with Roger.
The tone of her hum was not accurate, because Roger taught him was not accurate either.
"You're out of tune."
“Where is it.”
"That's not what you sang just now."
"Is that so? Then do it again."
They hummed over and over again, and walked over and over again.
Then Roger said Angelica was stupid, and Angelica laughed and showed her little tiger teeth.
