Chapter 146 The Fly in the Spider's Web(2/2)
So the horses can't get faster.
After taking a few turns, I passed by several forks.
Roger found that there were only one group of them left in this alley.
Roger's sensitive ears heard the commander's swearing from behind.
He also heard many guards shouting in front of the alley.
He knew he was blocked in this alley.
So Roger ordered the horse to be abandoned.
He stabbed a sword on the horse's butt, and his men followed suit.
So six horses neighed, rushed forward, turning around the corner in front.
Roger heard a wail and scolding coming from the front.
He heard the commander's voice coming from the bend behind.
He ordered his men to hide their swords in their Arab robe.
Then they all lay on the walls on both sides.
The Arab commander led the guards to wipe the backs of Roger and the six others.
Roger waited for the guards to finish running and ran to them immediately.
Then he turned into a fork that he had just passed by.
Roger ran desperately in this fork.
He didn't know where this path led until his eyes lit up.
He saw a small square.
Roger's heart felt as if he had been trampled by ten thousand alpacas.
He was so angry that he wanted to vomit blood.
The stall owner selling dates in the small square pointed at Roger and shouted: "It's him! The pagans are here!"
The stall owner's finger was almost pointing to Roger's face.
Roger rushed up and slapped the guy who sold dates down, and then kicked the stall owner in anger.
