Chapter 174 Love is priceless

The wind is strong in the mountains and fields at night, and the tigers roar and beasts roar.

There were bonfires in the military camp, and the soldiers roasted beast meat and drank horse milk.

Bo Langjun hid in the tent to avoid mosquitoes and flies. The floor was covered with garlands and small animals made by Luo Jiaojiao with insect repellent grass.

Bo Langjun had rings woven with cordyceps on his hands and ankles. Originally, Luo Jiaojiao had a grass ring on his head. But as soon as Luo Jiaojiao went out, he picked it off.

A smell of mugwort floated in from outside the tent. Bo Langjun couldn't help but think curiously: "What is Luo Xiaoniang fiddling with? Did she tinker with mugwort?"

Luo Jiaojiao was indeed burning the mugwort that had been exposed to the sun in the afternoon. Thick white smoke spread outside Bo Langjun's tent.

I don’t know whether it was because of the effect of a large number of insecticides or because of the smoke of mugwort, Bo Langjun slept peacefully and the mosquitoes did not bite him.

Luo Jiaojiao almost wrapped Bo Langjun with insect repellent.

In the early morning, when Jiang Yu walked into Bo Langjun's tent with his arms hanging, he was stunned when he saw Bo Langjun covered with insect repellent grass.

"Jiang Yu!" Luo Jiaojiao rubbed her eyes and sat up. She had not yet woken up completely from her sleep.

"Here I'm back!" Bo Langjun suddenly turned over and sat up, and the insecticide on his body fell down with a "rattle".

"Please punish me!" Jiang Yu said with a kneeling sound.

"Tell me first!"

Bo Langjun began to pick the insecticide on his body. Luo Jiaojiao rushed over to help. Jiang Yu got up and wanted to go out, but was stopped by Bo Langjun.

"Lying here and rest for a while, you have to hurry on your way!" Bo Langjun stood up and stretched out his jacket.

Jiang Yu paused for a moment, and tears appeared in his eyes. He stood beside the door and watched Bo Langjun walk out of the house.

"Go to sleep for a while!" Luo Jiaojiao pushed Jiang Yu to the floor and went to bed.

Jiang Yu lay down but couldn't sleep. A thrilling scene in the swamp flashed in his mind.

When he rode his horse and chased into the swamp, he saw the scene of the horses struggling in the mud.

Several carriages slowly sank, and the final neighing of the horse was heartbreaking.

The Hun princess knelt beside the swamp and cried. Mu Erta hugged her tightly, for fear that she would run into the swamp to find Jiang Yu once she let go.

"Princess!" Jiang Yu couldn't bear to see the princess' heartbroken appearance, so he shouted.

"Are you still alive?" Mu Erta turned his head and stared at Jiang Yu. His eyes fell on Jiang Yu's hanging arm.

"I'm not dead! I'll let you down!" Jiang Yu held the reins tightly with his left hand.

"You shouldn't have come!" Mu Erta let go of the princess and stood up.

"Jiang Yu!" A smile appeared on the face of the Hun Princess.

Mu Erta flew forward and stabbed Jiang Yu's mount with a sword. Jiang Yu pressed the horse's back with one hand, and the man had already fallen steadily to the ground. However, his horse was stabbed by Mu Erta with a sword and ran away with four hooves.

With a "thump", the horse fell into the swamp. Jiang Yu's mind stagnated and his body slowed down. Mu Erta's sword ruthlessly stabbed him at the vital point.

Jiang Yu had no time to dodge and could only retreat. But if he retreated, he would inevitably fall into a swamp. If he did not retreat, his body would be pierced by Mu Erta's sword.

At this critical moment, the Xiongnu princess grabbed Mu Erta's arm, making it impossible for his sword to pierce out with all his strength, and the tip of the sword stopped at Jiang Yu's chest.

Jiang Yu, who was in a cold sweat, flashed to the side. At this time, Qiu Zijun arrived. He slapped out a chain of palms one after another and drove the Huns who followed Mu Erta into the swamp.

The few people struggled desperately, but they fell deeper and deeper until they were over.

Jiang Yu and others were shocked to see it. Qiu Zijun's eyes fell on Mu Erta's face.

Mu Erta's mouth twitched, and suddenly turned around and placed the sword on the neck of the Hun Princess.

Qiu Zijun forced Mu Erta step by step. Mu Erta retreated to the edge of the swamp with the princess.

"If you move forward, she won't be able to survive!" Mu Erta screamed.

"She is a princess of the Huns! What does she have to do with me if she lives or die?" Qiu Zijun's mouth raised, looking at Mu Erta's hand that kept shaking with the sword.

"Don't hurt our princess!" Shi Yandun mustered up the courage to stand in front of the Xiongnu princess.

"Then you all go together!" Qiu Zijun slowly raised her arm.

"Senior!" Jiang Yu knelt at Qiu Zijun's feet.

"They are the Huns! The one who has been chasing us and actually took his beloved woman as a hostage at the critical moment of life and death! Shouldn't such a person die?" Qiu Zijun lowered his head and asked Jiang Yu.

"The Hun Princess once helped us! Last time, without her righteousness, my master and your friend, Junjun, might have caused great trouble!" Jiang Yu finally found a decent reason to convince Qiu Zijun to let the Hun Princess go.

Qiu Zijun looked down and said nothing, and the Hun princess who had never asked him to put down her arms.

"Boy isn't leaving yet?" Qiu Zijun got on the horse and stretched out his arm to Jiang Yu.

Jiang Yu looked at the Hun Princess and said, "We are cleared up! Take care!"

But Jiang Yu looked back before getting on the horse and saw a drop of crystal tears overflowing from the corner of the Hun Princess' eyes. The tears were so bright under the dazzling sunlight...

"Jiang Yu! Have something to eat!" Luo Jiaojiao brought two steamed buns to Jiang Yu. Jiang Yu sat up tiredly, took one steamed bun and took it and took it.

"Where did your husband go?" Jiang Yu asked while eating steamed buns.

"Go to Liu Qian's tent." Before Luo Jiaojiao finished speaking, Jiang Yu started coughing violently. He seemed to be choking!

"Eat slowly! There is one more here!" Luo Jiaojiao patted Jiang Yu on the back, then poured a bowl of water and handed it to him.

Jiang Yu drank water and said after a lot of effort: "Thank you!"

"Give it!" Luo Jiaojiao put another steamed bun in Jiang Yu's left hand.

How could Jiang Yu have the intention to eat steamed buns? If Bo Langjun knew that he knelt down and begged Qiu Zijun to save the Xiongnu princess, the result could be imagined.

"Aren't you leaving?" Bo Langjun's voice rang outside the tent.

Luo Jiaojiao helped Jiang Yu up and walked out of the tent. Bo Langjun had already got on the carriage. Luo Jiaojiao and Jiang Yu followed him up.

"You are injured! Come in and sit together!" Bo Langjun called out in the carriage.

Jiang Yu hesitated for a moment, but Luo Jiaojiao pushed in.

Jiang Yu sat unnaturally at the car door. He lowered his head and looked at his injured arm, hoping that it would heal soon.

Bo Langjun removed the stool and sat leaning on the soft pads laid by Luo Jiaojiao. Luo Jiaojiao sat under the car window and asked Jiang Yu if he had chased the Hun Princess.

Jiang Yu said that he chased the Hun Princess and told her that they were not suitable and could not be together.

"Tell me! What's the matter with you hiding it from me?" Bo Langjun pursed his lips. He asked Qiu Zijun whether he had chased the Hun Princess. Qiu Zijun shook his head and said no.

"I don't dare!" Jiang Yu realized that Qiu Zijun might be different from what he said. He listened to Bo Langjun's words, Qiu Zijun did not say that something unbearable happened to him.

"I dare not? You are getting more and more courageous now! You are so old that you don't take this husband seriously, right?" Bo Langjun's tone was obviously angry.

"Damn it!" Jiang Yu stood up and knelt in front of Bo Langjun.

"I can stop asking about this matter! But if you dare to hide it from me in the future, don't blame me for not being reminiscent of old love!" Bo Langjun closed his eyes after saying that. In fact, he also knew that if it were not forbidden to, Jiang Yu would not have hidden it from him.
