Chapter 100 Bakery Workshop

Wador had two slightly curly beards on his bloated face, and his brown eyes were deeply squeezed by fat meat. A slightly cold word was spoken from his mouth.

Rock clearly felt that the other party's attitude was very cold, but he didn't care. After all, his outfit did not look bright enough.

"Please don't do this. Do I want me to buy a gorgeous dress and then talk to you about business?"

Hearing the word business, Wador's face changed and he spoke in a slightly puzzled tone: "Who are you and what kind of business do you want to do?"

Upon hearing this, Rock and Murdan looked at each other, and both of them smiled helplessly. Could it be that they had gone to the wrong store? Or that was Randolph's job was not done well.

"Sir, it seems that he doesn't know us, that's awful." Randolph quipped.

Rock did not respond. He took out a letter of introduction from his arms and handed it to the other party: "Let me show you this, I am Rock from Black Thorn Manor."

"What is this?" Vador muttered, and then began to seriously explain the content.

"Ah, you are Mr. Rock. Please forgive me for your rudeness. I am honored to see you. I often hear about you in the town. Look at my damn mind. Lord Randolph sent someone to notify me last night and said you would come to the store." After reading the content, Wador's attitude changed 180 degrees, and he hurriedly handed over the letter of introduction to the other party.

Judging from Wador's reaction, Rock could confirm two things: one is that the other party did not know him before, and the other is that this guy is so hypocritical that it is disgusting.

"Then you can talk about business now." Rock said coldly.

"Of course it's okay. Mr. Rock, please sit down. Let's have a good cup of coffee first and then discuss business. Do you think this is OK?" Vader asked respectfully.

Rock didn't say anything, just nodded slightly.

"My name is Vado, and I am the manager of this workshop. I am honored to provide you with services, Mr. Rock." After both sides sat down, Vado took the lead in introducing himself.

"I think I will remember you," said Rock, then he glanced at Murdan, who was sitting not far away to eat.

Soon, a cup of steaming coffee was placed on the glass table in front of Rock. The aroma of coffee beans and the taste of milk were perfectly combined, making people want to taste it when they smelled it.

Wador seemed very patient at this moment. He watched Rock enjoy the fine coffee without making any noise.

Not long after, Rock finished drinking coffee. To be honest, he still liked to drink pure coffee. After putting down the cup, his eyes fell on the other party.

"I am going to rebuild the Black Thorn Manor, and you need to provide me with hundreds of servings of bread every day."

"Ah, are you saying true?"

When Vado heard the content of the business, his eyes lit up. He finally began to look at Rock. The bread served by hundreds of people every day sounded the same quantity.

But this is rebuilding the Black Thorn Manor. If it continues, the interest rates will be very considerable, which makes Vado happy.

"Of course, so what are you going to do?"

Rock knew very well that these businessmen were cunning in their hearts, and he had to get reasonable discounts for himself as much as possible.

"If you are not in a hurry, please give me some time to think about it. I promise that I will definitely give you a satisfactory answer." For a moment, Wador did not dare to make a decision without authorization, at least he had to communicate with several other officials first.

"Sir, please have something to eat first."

Just then, Murdan came over, with bread crumbs and grease sticking to the corner of his mouth, and he was holding a teapot-sized milk sachet in his hand.

"I don't think you're so stingy, Mr. Wador." Rock took the milk sachet, stared at the other party, and said meaningfully.

"When, of course, Mr. Rock enjoyed the bread here."

The surprise flashed across Wador's face, and he understood the other party's intentions and was secretly guilty.

"Thank you, then I'll give you a day to think about it, and I'll come again tomorrow afternoon."

Rock stood up and was about to leave. Seeing this, Murdan hurriedly followed.

"Okay, Mr. Rock."

As soon as he finished speaking, Vador's expression suddenly became stunned, because he saw Rock constantly picking up bread from the shelves and stuffing it into Murdan's hands unscrupulously.

"Is there anything else Mr. Wador?" As if feeling the other party's gaze, Rock suddenly turned around and asked.

"Ah, no, it's okay, Mr. Rock, I'll wait for you in the workshop tomorrow afternoon." Wador hurriedly looked away and stammered.

"See you tomorrow."

After leaving the workshop, Rock walked straight towards the ruling hall. He wanted to know how the recruitment of the poor was progressing and whether the news had spread.

Murdan beside him was holding a pile of bread with a strange expression on his face. What was it like to hold a pile of bread with a grand knight?

From a distance, I saw a group of people walking towards me. These people were not unfamiliar with Luo Ke. They were all wearing straddle armor and acted unruly. Aren’t they those good hooligans?

"Haha, Rock."

Barrow, who was in charge, seemed serious. He walked to Rock a few steps and gave the other party a bear hug.

"Brother Barrow, what are you doing?" Rock was a little confused.

"I'm here to find you specifically to see what I have brought you." As he said that, Barrow's eyes fell to the town guards behind him. Only then did Rock realize that the few of them were holding heavy bags in their hands.

"Brother Barrow is this?"

"Haha, there are hundreds of gold coins. That bastard Watts is quite rich. This is what the lord asked me to give to you." Barrow took the bag from the town guard and handed it to Rock.

"I'm here for Brother Barrow, thank you." Holding the heavy bag in his hand, Rock said thankfully.

"Murdan brought the bread."

"As for orders, sir."

Murdan responded and walked straight up, a smile appeared on his face, it seemed that he didn't need to hold the bread anymore.

"Rock, you are so thoughtful. We have not eaten yet. Come here and have some bread first. Haha, Murdan didn't expect you to get so much bread." Barrow said jokingly, then took the bread and ate it on the spot, and the same was true for the town guards.

Even the sweet bread was not liked by these town guards. The reason they ate bread was half because of Barrow's instructions and half because they were indeed a little hungry. Perhaps on their private menu, there were only spirits and barbecue.

After swallowing the dry bread, Barrow poked his hand and pulled Rock to the side.

"Rock, these guys are very elves. I think they can help you. The Lord has already told me about your rebuilding of the Black Thorn Manor."

"Thank you, Brother Barrow. I think it's not difficult to recruit people. As long as there are bread, there are many poor people who want to work in the manor, but I do need some staff."

Rock was extremely grateful. He knew very well that once there were more people, riots would definitely not be avoided. There were always some people who would have speculative intentions. It would be not enough to rely on Murdan and others to maintain order alone.

"You are so kind to me, don't worry, I'm looking for some smart people in the afternoon."
