Chapter 441: How much box office can it earn?(2/2)

There are two types of movie success. One is artistic success, with good reviews and awards, but not particularly profitable.

The other is commercial success, with good reputation from the audience, but critics don't like it, and the awards are ignored.

These two kinds of success have completely different feelings for the director. Ronald has never been favored by film critics, but commercial success is a common thing.

However, after all, it was a movie produced and distributed by another company. Now it was Ronald's turn to distribute the movie himself. Only then did he realize that his wealth would increase significantly in six months. How would he feel?

Of course it's very cool.

Julie Coleman is right, this feeling is like knowing that something is going to happen with a beautiful woman, but before it happens, the joy that a man will have is mixed with the expectation for the future.

Feel.

Amplifying this feeling ten times is how Ronald feels now.

"Ronald, have you figured out how to count the money?" Roger Coleman came over and started teasing Ronald.

"It also depends on the Cinema Score..."

"Nonsense. When I was a producer and engaged in distribution business, there was no Cinema Score company. Distributing a movie relies on intuition. Sometimes when you see the audience's reaction to that movie, you will know that you have hit it.

Won the jackpot.”

"Oh, I'll borrow your auspicious words, but this is my first time doing publishing. I don't know."

"Trust your feelings, Ronald." Roger Coleman put his hands on Ronald's shoulders and said to him.

"How many theaters is your movie showing in across the country?"

"1,175 homes." Ronald was familiar with this number.

"Did you know? With this momentum, you can hit 7 million in your first weekend."

"Oh yeah?" Ronald raised his eyebrows at Coleman's estimate. Is it too optimistic?

Ronald was a little unsure. How long can the popularity of these middle-aged audiences last? How many people will come to watch?

And there are many professional women in big cities like Los Angeles and New York. Maybe they are more sympathetic to Baby's independent thinking and Penny's brave actions.

But what about the female residents in the south, central part, and some smaller cities? In the south and central part, where conservative ideas are very strong, what will those female viewers think?

If Coleman's estimate comes true, B will bring about a 4.2-fold multiplier effect. If it grosses 7 million in the first weekend, the domestic box office of the entire movie will exceed 30 million.

Calculating conservatively, this amount of money can allow Ronald to recover his capital and make a little profit.

If the film can reach the top three in the domestic box office rankings, overseas film buyers will enthusiastically place orders for copies. Another box office of 30 million is very likely.

In this way, adding the two together, Ronald may have a considerable return.

Coupled with the money earned from video tapes and movie soundtracks, Ronald estimated that his adventure in "Dirty Dancing" could double his wealth.

"I'm going to take a shower first. I'm so tired today."

After returning to the hotel, Ronald felt that his body's energy had been consumed a lot. After letting Diane sit down, he went to take a shower first.

Ten minutes later, the hot water took away the sweat and fatigue, and Ronald regained his sense of relaxation.

"Ronnie, I have your phone number."

"Hello, who is it?" Ronald walked out of the bathroom in his pajamas, lay down on the big bed in the bedroom, and answered the phone.

"It's me, boss, Jimmy Lehner."

It turned out to be Jimmy who was in charge of the original album.

"I just came back from the cinema. The audience's reaction was very strong. I think I will reprint it soon."

"Yes, I think so too, what do you think?" Alas, Ronald yawned and sleepiness began to come over him.

"Columbia Records is currently working hard to produce MJ's new album 'Bad'. If we want to print additional copies, we must find other manufacturers and pay a high price to jump in."

Ronald listened to Jimmy Lenner's thoughts for a while, and his eyes began to darken, "You know what, Jimmy, I can't accept any more bad news or good news today. If you have any ideas, I'll find them tomorrow."

Eddie reports."

"Okay, boss, I will give you the plan after discussion."

"Well..." Ronald hung up the phone and fell on the bed, touching the high-thread-count sheets. The comfortable feeling made him never want to leave.

"Ronnie..."

Diane came out of the bathroom and put on sexy stockings and underwear, as well as a pair of very high and very sexy high heels. What she was wearing today was the same outfit she was going to wear in Casino Hustler. The dress was studded with diamonds.

It made her whole body exude a coquettish aura.

"Ronnie, Ronnie?"

Diane made several poses, but Ronald lay on the bed and did not respond.

When he walked in, Ronald's eyes were closed, he was holding the pillow with both hands, sleeping sideways on the bed, snoring slightly from his nose.

Diane pouted. It was a carefully prepared surprise, but the actor fell asleep.

"Hmm..." Ronald moaned comfortably in his sleep.

Diane held his hand and scratched it a few times, but there was no reaction at all. Ronald seemed to be sleeping very deeply.

Diane thought for a while, started to take off her makeup, took off her earrings and necklace, put on comfortable pajamas, lay down next to Ronald, curled up into a ball, and then squeezed into Ronald's arms

.

She forcefully put Ronald's hand touching the sheets on her body, wrapping her hands around her, and her body temperature made her feel warm and comfortable.

"Well, Diane..." Ronald muttered in his dream.

"Hehe", Diane laughed, "Ronnie, Ronnie..." She leaned over and kissed Ronald, then turned off the lamp.

The next morning, Diane woke up from her sleep and found that the warm body was no longer around her. She was nowhere to be found on the bed.

Diane opened her eyes and found that Ronald was no longer in the bedroom.

"Ronnie? Brother Ronnie?" Diane got up, put on her slippers and walked out.

"I ordered breakfast and it will be served in a moment." Ronald was answering the phone, covering the receiver with one hand as he said to Diane.

Seeing Diane nodding to express understanding, Ronald went back to communicate with the person on the phone.

"Well, keep talking..."

"The ratings from Cinema Score have come out, and the rating is A-, which is better than expected."

"Great!" Ronald made a gesture to himself with a fist, and then blurted out, "Yes!"

"The box office statistics are not complete yet, but last night's national box office exceeded US$2 million. There is no big problem."

"It's all good news, all good news. I'll fly to New York this afternoon."

"Diane", Ronald put down the phone, looked at Diane who had just taken a shower, went up and hugged her.

"Hahaha..." Diane was very itchy by Ronald's beard and twisted around in his arms.

Ronald smelled the nice scent of shower gel coming from Diane's hair and took a deep breath, "Let's have breakfast first. I have half a day today. Where do you want to go?"

"Oh, Ronnie, it's like I'm here with you."

"Um……"

Ronald kissed her deeply, and the good smell of Diane's body also spread to her.

"What is this?" Ronald carried Diane into the bedroom and found the clothes she took off last night.
