228 New Year's Eve(2/2)

Seeing how excited the old man was, Chi Si slowly put down the cup.

After dinner, Chi Si sat on the other side of the sofa and seemed to be talking on the phone with someone. The corners of his mouth couldn't help but turn up, and his eyes were full of tenderness.

Mr. Chi looked at his grandson and still endured the anger in his heart. He stretched out his hand and called the people on the side to come over and ask.

"Did you hear anything?"

Uncle Li, who was eating fast and chanting Buddha's name with Mr. Chi, smiled and said, "What I know is what you know. You didn't say you shouldn't pay too much attention to the young master's affairs. Children and grandchildren will have their own blessings."

Mr. Chi is different from other people in power. After decentralizing power, they still worry about the performance of future generations. The company and family will have spies in place, and company reports must be reviewed throughout the year.

But these worries have nothing to do with Mr. Chi.

The old man packed up his luggage and moved here happily the day after the company announced the personnel appointment. He had no intention of hearing more about the young master.

Where can he find out about the young master's girlfriend now?

"This is not the company's business. This is a matter that concerns future generations of the Chi family. How can you not care about it?" Mr. Chi said dissatisfied.

Uncle Li couldn't help laughing when he saw his anxious look, "How about you go over and ask the young master?"

Upon hearing this, Mr. Chi became even more angry, "Can he tell me?"

No one knows his grandson's temper better than he does, and he can't be beaten with a stick.

I must be on the phone with that little girl right now, otherwise it would be so worthless to laugh.

"Go over and listen." Mr. Chi said and pushed the person next to him.

Uncle Li, who was still in a daze, was pushed away. He could only sigh and quietly approach his young master.

But before he could hear clearly the conversation between the two, his attention was attracted by a photo.

I saw the man holding the phone with one hand, still talking to the person over there, raising his other hand with a photo between his two fingers and raising it in front of him.

Uncle Li reacted and hurriedly took it with both hands. The background of the photo was very simple and pure. It was a little girl wearing a red coat making a snowman.

She seemed to be smiling happily, her facial features were as delicate as a porcelain doll, and her smiling eyes curved into crescent moons.

She looks like a very beautiful and pure little girl, and the most important thing is that the man squatting next to her is tying her shoelaces.

Isn't that their young master?

Uncle Li returned to Mr. Chi holding the photo.

The old man put on his reading glasses and looked at the person opposite.

"Promise, the leader of the Chi family is very promising just squatting on the ground and tying people's shoes."

The old man's words were full of disgust, but Uncle Li could see the old man's happiness.

"Just be brave. Isn't it the happiest thing for you that the young master can find a girl he cares about?"

Not long after Chi Si was born, the Chi family and his wife died in an accident. The child grew up with a cold temperament, and could even be said to have no human touch at all.

In order to eliminate the hostility in him, Mr. Chi sent him to the Yun family and handed him over to Yun Han, hoping to remove the hostility from him.

Mr. Chi once accidentally obtained a hexagram, which said that Chi Si's emotional line was cold and there would not be many people in his life who could arouse his interest.

The master's explanation is that there were too many killings in the previous life, which resulted in the lack of emotional connections in this life.

Mr. Chi chose Zhongming Mountain to worship Buddha because he wanted to accumulate some merit for Chi Si.

"It's worthless, look at what this looks like." The old man snorted and put the things in his hands aside.

Uncle Li chuckled lightly, "Then I'll prepare tomorrow's menu."

Mr. Chi glanced at his grandson, got up and went upstairs.

Uncle Li followed him and watched him take out a box from under the cabinet.

"This is my wife's relic, sir."

Uncle Li watched in surprise as the old man took out a jade bracelet with excellent water color.

"Originally I kept it for my granddaughter-in-law. I thought it would be kept at the bottom of the box for the rest of my life. Now that I have this opportunity, I have to take it out quickly."

Besides, the girl that that boy can fall in love with must be extraordinary.
