Chapter 2 Bronze Mirror Map(1/2)
Luo Yi knew that he was in trouble, something very strange.
Originally, he didn't pay attention to the bronze mirror at all, but now he realized that it was not a prank or high technology.
But what is it? Luo Yi doesn't understand either.
Luo Yi only knew that he had to follow the instructions on the bronze mirror now, otherwise he would really die.
Time was running out, so Luo Yi found a backpack and packed some random things, especially bringing a knife.
"Phoenix Mountain is on the North Main Road of Yanjiang River. I've climbed it once, but I haven't heard of any villages around it?"
Luo Yi took out his mobile phone to locate it and found that there was no Shuishan Village under Fenghuang Mountain.
After another check, Luo Yi was even more frightened. According to the information, there were no villages or people around Fenghuang Mountain at all.
"This Shuishan Village doesn't exist?" Luo Yi looked at his phone blankly.
Then Luo Yi took another look at the bronze mirror to see if there had been any changes. Sure enough, Luo Yi magically discovered that a map was displayed on the bronze mirror.
The map is very clear. At a glance, Luo Yi can see the landmark of Fenghuang Mountain, and below it is the landmark of Shuishan Village.
Luo Yi swallowed his saliva, feeling as if the bronze mirror could read his mind.
"Follow the route and you will reach Shuishan Village."
"If you can't reach Shuishan Village before today, you will face death."
The map on the bronze mirror disappeared, and two more sentences were displayed, and then Luo Yi felt a familiar sense of suffocation.
The map reappeared on the bronze mirror. Luo Yi quickly walked out of the house and took a taxi to Fenghuang Mountain.
Soon, Luo Yi was thrown on the edge of Phoenix Mountain.
After taking out fifty yuan to pay the fare, Luo Yi rushed to the place marked on the bronze mirror without stopping.
Along the way, Luo Yi didn't stop, but gradually Luo Yi felt something was wrong.
"Why does the sun go so fast?"
Luo Yi discovered that the sun was moving westward at a perceptible speed.
"I have to hurry up, otherwise it will be over when it gets dark." Things were very strange, but Luo Yi couldn't think about it too much. He could only try his best to reach Shuishan Village before the sun went down.
It's too dangerous to walk at night.
As the sun set, the outline of a village faintly appeared in Luo Yi's sight.
"Is this the village?" Luo Yi murmured, carrying a backpack. Then he took a deep breath.
"Finally we arrived before the sun set."
Luo Yi walked towards the entrance of the village.
There is a thick sycamore tree at the entrance of the village, with sparse branches and countless large holes carved out by woodpeckers. The dark holes make people look uncomfortable.
Sitting under the sycamore tree was an old man with white hair wearing a yellow-green tunic suit.
Luo Yi stepped forward and asked: "Old man, is this Shuishan Village?"
The old man raised his head, glanced at Luo Yi with cloudy eyes, and then said calmly: "This is Shuishan Village."
"I didn't expect that this village actually existed. I hope I'm safe and sound." Luo Yi prayed.
This thing was so weird that Luo Yi had to worry.
Luo Yi thanked the old man and walked into the village.
Under the sycamore tree, under the reflection of the setting sun, the old man took out a butcher's knife from under his body and practiced something over and over again.
Luo Yi entered Shuishan Village. The village was quite quiet and peaceful. Under the afterglow of the setting sun, it looked like an oil painting.
The houses in the village are connected together, with a total of two rows. Between the two rows of houses is a wide road, which is also the playground for each household.
A little girl rushed out of her home happily with a windmill in her hand.
"Fly, fly." the little girl shouted happily.
A silver-haired old woman under the eaves looked at the girl playing happily, and she opened her toothless mouth and smiled.
On a platform in the distance, a strong man was beating something, making a low and unpleasant muffled sound.
"Drink, spit."
A woman came out with a pot and spit, and then went home to cook contentedly.
"Ouch!"
The little girl playing with the windmill bumped into Luo Yi and let out a scream.
The little girl was knocked to the ground, Luo Yi glanced at her.
"Whoa!"
The little girl cried so loudly that the whole village could hear her.
"What's wrong? What's wrong?" A woman rushed out of the house anxiously carrying a vegetable shovel.
Then, the woman saw her daughter sitting on the ground crying and Luo Yi standing at a loss.
"Who are you? You're such a big man and you still bully a child." The woman yelled at Luo Yi loudly.
Luo Yi looked at the yelling women and suddenly felt that this village was different from what he had imagined. This was just an ordinary village.
"Sorry, this cute little sister bumped into me, and then due to the force, she was bounced to the ground." Luo Yi said with a smile on her face.
"What force works?" The woman was confused and said, "You are such a big man, you must be stronger than my daughter."
As the woman spoke, she pointed at Luo Yi's forehead with the spatula in her hand, causing countless oil and water to fall onto Luo Yi's face.
"Aunt Chun, don't make things difficult for this young man. It was your daughter who bumped into her." said the strong man who was banging something in the distance.
"Yes, yes, I saw it too." The old woman under the eaves clapped her hands and said.
Aunt Chun's expression changed, and she said with a ruthless face: "You two are eating the inside out and talking for outsiders."
After saying that, Aunt Chun gave her daughter a slap in the face and scolded her: "If you cry, just cry. Go back home."
Aunt Chun carried her daughter back, and Luo Yi walked to the door of the strong man's house.
"Young man, are you from out of town?" the strong man asked.
"Yes, I was originally going to Fenghuang Mountain to climb, and somehow I saw your village." Luo Yi said.
As he got closer, Luo Yi finally saw clearly that the objects the strong man was beating were pieces of bone.
puff!
The strong man smashed a bone with a hammer and said with a smile: "Fortunately, you saw our village. Our village is the only one within ten miles."
"Is your village the only one in this place?" Luo Yi asked in surprise.
"That's not true." The strong man said, "You are lucky, otherwise you would have to spend the night in the mountains."
"So, I'm really lucky." Luo Yi said.
The strong man pounded the bones tirelessly. Luo Yi frowned and asked, "Has anyone died in the village recently?"
Hearing this, the strong man stopped what he was doing, looked at Luo Yi with an evil expression and said, "What do you mean by this? Are you cursing the death of people in our village?"
"Ha! Don't get me wrong, don't get me wrong, I just saw a new tomb on the mountain, and the tombstone fell down, so I wanted to ask." Luo Yi quickly explained.
Seeing that Luo Yi didn't seem to be telling lies, the strong man said with a normal expression: "Maybe it was a new grave set by someone from another village."
Luo Yi's expression changed. Didn't this guy just say that there is only Shuishan Village within a radius of ten miles?
"By the way, what's your name?" the strong man asked.
Luo Yi: "Luo Yi."
Strong man: "You can spend the night at my house tonight. I have no one at home, it's just me. It's convenient."
Luo Yi: "Thank you then."
"Thank you, we rarely have outsiders here, so I am very happy to entertain you." The strong man said with a smile on his face.
"Young man, go spend the night at my old lady's place." Suddenly, the silver-haired old woman who was sitting under the eaves of her house actually stood behind Luo Yi.
Luo Yi looked at the old woman who suddenly appeared behind him and felt a little scared.
"You old woman, you are so shameless that you asked a young man to spend the night at your place." The strong man cursed.
The old woman ignored the strong man, but moved her flat mouth and said: "Young man, there is no one in my family, it's just me. It's convenient."
"No. I will rest at this big brother's house." Luo Yi quickly refused.
"Humph! You don't know what's good or bad." The old woman said suddenly angrily: "You can do whatever you want with a group of people, just think of me as an old woman meddling in other people's business."
Luo Yi didn't know what the old woman said, but the strong man cursed angrily: "You crazy woman, what crazy words are you talking about? Go back to your home and lie down."
The old woman left, and the strong man smiled and said to Luo Yi: "Don't worry, this old woman has some brain problems, she is always talking."
"This old lady looks quite pitiful." Luo Yi said sympathetically.
Being alone and having mental problems is indeed quite pitiful.
