Chapter 45: Endless scolding

Chapter 45: The endless curse

Bao Xiaofei put two cups of tea in front of the two directors, stopped talking, lowered his head and picked up the pen to continue his work. Li Mingsheng and Ding Yichen sat opposite each other, holding the teacup, looking at the small eyes. Ding Yichen originally wanted to make some talks with Bao Xiaofei, but when he saw Bao Xiaofei's attitude towards Li Mingsheng just now, he extinguished his little thoughts.

The air was a little dull, and the two directors sat there drinking tea, adding boiled water twice or three times. When the water in the teacup was as light as boiled water, a majestic voice came from the office next door: "Xiao Bao, is the person here?"

Bao Xiaofei quickly put down his pen and stood up, responding, "Here you come, both directors are here." As he said that, he pushed open the partition door in the middle and made a gesture, indicating that Li Mingsheng and Ding Yichen could go in.

Li Mingsheng and Ding Yichen had smiles on their faces and walked in carefully. Zhao Changfeng sat on a high leather swivel chair, across the wide large table, and looked down at them from a high place.

Although Li Mingsheng received a hint from Bao Xiaofei, he was still sweating from Zhao Changfeng's eyes, and the smile on his face did not become natural. Ding Yichen was even more uneasy. Although in terms of division of labor, Zhao Changfeng was not his mayor in charge, the executive vice mayor assisted the mayor in handling the government's executive work, and his status was higher than that of ordinary deputy mayors. From this point of view, if Zhao Changfeng had to ask about the work under other deputy mayors, it was completely within the scope of his responsibilities. Moreover, who doesn't know that Mayor Xiao Zhao is very well-known and has the background of Secretary Du Hongjun behind him? If Zhao Changfeng was not looking for the Labor Bureau, let alone Ding Yichen, what could even be the deputy mayor Hu Gongcheng?

Li Mingsheng and Ding Yichen came to Zhao Changfeng's desk and stood still. Zhao Changfeng's eyes slid coldly across Li Mingsheng's face, but he smiled and said to Ding Yichen: "Director Ding, sit down."

Ding Yichen hesitated for a moment. He looked at Zhao Changfeng, then looked at Li Mingsheng, pulled open the chair and sat down.

Li Mingsheng also wanted to sit down, but Zhao Changfeng said straight and asked Ding Yichen to sit down. He hesitated for a moment, but he did not dare to sit down. He stood there in place with his hands in a regular manner against the trouser seam.

After Ding Yichen sat down, Zhao Changfeng's eyes turned to Li Mingsheng's face again, and the smile on his face disappeared.

"Director Li," Zhao Changfeng tapped the table with his finger, "Is it difficult for our city's finances?"

Li Mingsheng was a little confused. He didn't know what Zhao Changfeng meant. He turned his mind several times before he carefully said: "Mayor Zhao, our city's financial situation is quite good. Although it is not as good as Yangcheng and Shenzhou, it is quite good compared to other brother cities."

"It's pretty good? I think you're saying beautiful words, right?" Zhao Changfeng's face suddenly sank. He reached out and grabbed the newspaper on the table and threw it over, "Look, look, how do you write it in the newspaper?"

Li Mingsheng found that it was a "Suicheng Evening News". Unlike other newspapers, the "Suicheng Evening News" was published in the afternoon, and these leaders browse the newspaper while they had breakfast in the morning or took time to take a few glances when they arrived at the office in the morning. In the afternoon, they were mostly busy with work and didn't care about the "Suicheng Evening News". I don't know what news was published in the "Suicheng Evening News" today, which made Mayor Zhao so angry.

While thinking, Li Mingsheng picked up the newspaper, which read "The times call for such public servants - a record of Wei Jianguo, deputy director of Haizhou Labor Bureau."

Zhao Changfeng knocked on the table with his fingers, and his attitude became increasingly stern: "Our deputy director of Haizhou City has to be riding a bicycle to and from work. Li Mingsheng, Li Mingsheng, you said that the finances are very good, why can't you even afford to buy a small car for the deputy director? Now, everyone in eastern Guangdong knows that Haizhou City is poor and even the dignified deputy director has to ride a bicycle to and from get off work. Not to mention the jokes of the whole province's whole province, just say that those big bosses who are preparing to come to our Haizhou to invest in Haizhou will dare to invest in Haizhou when they see that Haizhou is so poor, and they dare to invest in Haizhou?"

Although Zhao Changfeng's attitude of scolding him became increasingly severe, Li Mingsheng's heart was put in his stomach. He finally understood Bao Xiaofei's hint just now, and it was indeed not his problem, although Mayor Zhao scolded him so hard that he was so angry that he was now.

Anyone who has been in the officialdom knows that leaders scold people is also an art, and how subordinates understand the leaders' scolding is a profound knowledge.

Generally speaking, there are several situations when leaders curse people. The first situation is to scold people. The subordinates are not responsible, are not serious about their work, and they make a big mistake. The probability of the leader who is angry is quite high. But in this case, it is often not against the people. It is basically self-venting of the leader's emotions. He does not really want to ask his subordinates what responsibilities and what "crimes" to govern his subordinates. After the scolding is over, the anger will fade, and the matter will pass. If you get scolded like this, the subordinates just listen with their ears closed, and there is no need to defend themselves, and you can't speak back. If you endure it at this time, the subordinates will release their eyes. If they don't know how to advance and retreat at this time, and they will just defend themselves foolishly, it is a violation of the leader's taboo and get a few unjust but down-to-earth boards on their butts.

The second situation is to protect and scold. What is to protect and scold? It is a curse method to protect and scold subordinates. There are many ways to protect and scold. For example, as mentioned earlier, Governor Zhao Qiang scolded Zhao Changfeng in front of Secretary-General Xie Fuhai. This is actually a kind of protection and scolding. On the surface, it is a curse, but in fact it is a protection.

Let me give you another example of swearing. For example, a report given by a new secretary from the Secretariat to Zhao Changfeng was wrong. Zhao Changfeng was furious. After Deputy Secretary-General Yu Qiushan learned about it, he took the new secretary to Zhao Changfeng's mayor's office without saying a word and scolded him fiercely in front of Zhao Changfeng. The new secretary didn't understand and thought that Secretary-General Yu was putting in the wrong. In fact, Secretary-General Yu was acting as a tough plan. In the officialdom

Some things can be big or small. When the leader thinks about it, it will be big, and when the leader doesn't care, it will be small. If the new secretary makes such a mistake, if Mayor Zhao settles the account again, the new secretary may suffer a lot. Secretary Yu Qiushan takes advantage of Mayor Zhao's anger and scolds him in person. In this way, Mayor Zhao is embarrassed to catch the toad and pinch it out of urine, so he has to let it go. This is the kind of scheming that is scheming, also called fake scolding, and scolding others.

The third situation is called fraud. This kind of curse is the most terrifying of all curse. Why is it said to be terrible? Because this kind of curse actually refers to mulberry and cuckold, and the method is relatively hidden.

This fraud is divided into several situations. Let me give you a few random examples. One is that on the surface, the leader is scolding you because you have not done something well. If you just talk about the matter and reflect on this unfinished thing, then there will be a big problem. Because the leader scolds you not because of this thing, but because of another thing, it is just another thing. Due to various reasons, the leader is inconvenient to scold you or has no time to scold you. Now use this thing to make up for it. Generally speaking, subordinates who are scolded like this need to have a high IQ and carefully analyze the causes and consequences to figure out the real reason why the leader scolds you, and then prescribe the right medicine and correct the mistakes, and to be more precise, correct the behavior of causing the leader to scold you.

To give a practical example, for example, during the Mid-Autumn Festival, all colleagues in the unit go to visit the leader's house and give some small gifts to congratulate the leader on a happy Mid-Autumn Festival. At this time, you may think that if there are dozens or hundreds of people in the unit, they all go to give gifts, who can the leader remember? Or you were very busy at that time and didn't have time to give gifts to the leader. Then after going to work for a long holiday, you answered a private phone call on your mobile phone in the office, and you happened to be caught by the leader, and the leader might scold you. How can you answer a private phone call during working hours? Could it be that the private phone pays you? You must not understand why the leader is making a big deal. Xiao Zhang and Xiao Wang hugged the public's phone and went to the United States to make long-distance international trips. Why don't the leader scold them? In fact, the reason is simple. The leader repairs you because you didn't come to the house during the Mid-Autumn Festival - although the leader may not remember who went to his house, the leader will definitely remember who has not been there.

Let’s talk about the second situation of fraud and scolding, which is what everyone usually understands. Although the leader is getting angry at subordinates A, he actually comes to subordinates B. Just like Zhao Changfeng is like today, although he is getting angry at Li Mingsheng of the Finance Bureau, he is actually beating Ding Yichen, the director of the Labor Bureau. Compared with the former fraud, this fraud is relatively easier to understand.

There are many cases of fraud and scolding, so I won’t mention it here. Let’s talk about the fourth art of leaders’ cursing, which is to curse others. Because this curse is often more vicious. This curse is rare in the officialdom, and leaders will never use it easily unless they are absolutely necessary. But once this curse comes out, the problem is quite serious. The leader can tear his face and curse others, which means telling everyone that I am incompatible with the person being scolded, and that there will never be any good results for him in the future. If he is often scolded by the leader, his subordinates should consider changing the activities. Otherwise, there will be no future under the leader.
