Chapter 1: Colorful Boys
When he was 7 years old, Su Li transferred to school for the first time and had a new nickname - "Su Yaba".
Every day after school, she walked home alone, and a group of naughty male classmates would follow her and laugh and make a fuss and shout, "Su Yaba! Su Yaba!"
Su Li was at a loss and could only lower her head. She was not a mute, she just didn't like to talk.
Children who don’t like to talk are always unpleasant, she knows. So she obediently goes to school alone, goes home from school alone, does homework alone, sleeps alone, and is in a daze alone...
Dad is a very powerful fashion designer. He is always so busy that his mother can't stand it. Finally, he left them last year and went to a place where his father didn't know.
Every day when I come home from school, the house is very cold. There is no hot meal prepared by other people's mother. There is only a refrigerator that is so cold that it is not warm, instant noodles, bread, cakes, apples...
Every time she fills her stomach and finishes her homework, Su Li goes to the soil slope behind her home to play. The soil slope is surrounded by a row of big trees. Few people will go there, so there becomes her own world.
Many times, she sat on the dirt slope holding a comic strip and watched it, until her father called her, she hurried home.
Later, a little boy broke into her lonely little world.
I still remember it was a beautiful dusk. The sun was hidden on the other side of the mountain and there was only a faint warm orange afterglow. Dragonflies were flying all over the sky. Frogs were crying in the woods not far away.
After reading three comic strips, Su Li was a little tired. She got up and carried a kite made of newspapers that she picked up. She walked to the sand outside the woods and stood waiting for the wind. She heard that when the wind came, she would fly into the blue sky "rake" as soon as she let the kite go.
She waited for a long time, and finally waited for a strong wind. She happily flew the kite in her hand. The kite fell to the ground without moving for a moment.
Su Li frowned her small willow-leaf eyebrows and scratched her head, "What's wrong?" She stood there with a confused look on her face, really not knowing how to make it fly.
At this moment, a little boy ran towards her. The boy was one head taller than her and had a gentle look on his face, "I'll teach you if you want to let it go?"
She didn't answer, but only looked at him with her big eyes, a little alert and a little panic.
Before the little boy could answer, he took the initiative to snatch the kite string she was holding tightly in his hand and dragged the kite away.
Su Li was full of anticipation and was waiting to see it fly into the blue sky, but no, the poor kite was dragged on the ground by the other party and danced half an inch away from the ground.
It's so strange!
She frowned and looked at someone else's kite in the distance. Why were other people's kites so high in the face of Feng Fei?
Is it because the adults fly the kite?
She was puzzled like this, and still expected that her own one would fly. She thought that if the kite could fly in the end, she would give it to the little boy who suddenly ran out.
Unfortunately, the kite has not flown up. The boy ran away and ran back and threw the kite string on the ground. "This kite is bad." He told Su Li.
Su Li nodded blankly, "I picked it up."
"No wonder, it's bad, people don't want it." He looked at her, "Don't throw it away, I'll let grandpa make one for you in the future."
Su Li was stunned. It was the first time someone wanted to give her something, and she had just met her for the first time. Her father said that such a person might be a bad person and she should refuse, but she really wanted it in her heart.
"My grandpa is very good at making kites." The boy's face looked proud.
Su Li smiled and immediately classified him as a good person, "Did you fly high?"
"Of course, it's very high."
"Will you go to heaven?"
"Of course! I'll tell if I'll do it and show it to you."
Like an agreement, Su Li was full of anticipation and joy. She looked at the boy carefully. His clothes were covered with paint and his chin was stained with some colorful ones.
It looks so good! She thinks so.
"But this one might be able to be repaired, I'll take a look." He suddenly said this, picked up the kite, looked left, right, scratched his head, and sat on the sand.
A kitten walked up to him and squatted down.
Su Li looked at the kitten. It was as colorful as a boy, squatting there like a colorful flower ball.
The little boy was busy watching the kite, and the little cat licked his hair with his pink tongue. No matter how he licked it, it was all the colors.
Su Li really wanted to ask him how those colors came from, and she also wanted to make a little bit on her body.
"Look, there is a hole here." The boy obviously didn't know that Su Li was interested in the paint on his body. He walked to Su Li with a kite as if he had discovered a treasure. Su Li looked over and said that the kite really broke a hole.
"I'll take it to my grandfather to repair it. He's very awesome." The boy said, picking up the kite and humming a little tune to the woods. The cat followed him, walking slowly.
Su Li stood there and watched, until they gradually blurred into colorful colors and then disappeared.
That night, a colorful boy and a colorful cat appeared in Su Li's dream.
Her dreams became colorful because of their appearance...
When she woke up, she suddenly felt so lonely. She wanted friends so much, wanted to talk to people, and play with people.
But Su Li didn't know who the boy was, where he lived or where he went to school, and whether he would appear again as promised.
Later, Su Li often went to the sand, and the boy didn't come for several days.
She thought, it must be that the kite had not been prepared yet, so he did not come.
Waiting is always long and boring. Su Li always dreams about the colorful boy. Once she dreamed that they were sitting on the grass and chatting. The boy told her that he had a disease that made him colorful and it would be contagious, so his cat was also colorful.
In the dream, Su Li told him, "I don't believe it." She heard her voice sweet and very nice.
"I didn't lie to you." The boy said, his voice was warm and very nice.
At the end of the dream, people in the whole world were infected by the boy's virus and became colorful people...
When you wake up with such a dream, you will feel that the monotonous world is actually colorful and dazzlingly beautiful.
Because of this, she couldn't wait to meet the colorful boy again.
However, summer has passed, autumn has come, the wind has cooled down, and the leaves have fallen.
The boy hasn't appeared yet!
Su Li was very sad, but after all, she was just a child. After being sad, she gradually forgot the little boy, just as she had slowly forgotten her mother.
However, sometimes, once you put down something, it appears again inexplicably.
The boy, like the first time he met, was still in a mess of colorful clothes, carrying a kite in his hand, "I'm sick recently, and my grandma won't let me come out."
So that's the reason.
"This is the kite I asked my grandpa to make for you, and I'll show you." He dragged the kite and ran, and the kite flew very high all of a sudden.
Su Li felt unprecedented excitement. She felt that her world was suddenly shrouded in colorful light, and all kinds of beautiful flowers were blooming one by one around.
How happy she was that the colorful boy not only remembered her, but also the promise she made her grin for a long time.
After running for a while, the boy stopped and handed the thread in his hand to Su Li, "Let's have fun with you."
Su Li took it, and the kite's string suddenly broke free from her hands and ran away. She quickly ran to grab it, but she couldn't catch it anymore. She could only watch the kite spinning in the air and finally brought out of their sight by the wind.
"It's okay, make another one!"
