Chapter 40: The Sick Mouse 4(1/2)

Chapter 40

Bai Ling woke up from his sleep and looked around confusedly.

But she saw nothing but burning flames.

It was a fire. She slept next to the fire and was kept warm.

"Blacka?" she called softly, but there was no answer.

She felt a little uneasy and looked outside the window - it was still dark and she didn't see anything.

Because it's the darkness before dawn, and when you can't even see the stars outside, you can't see anything here.

Has Blacka not come back yet?

Hasn't it been a little longer? It's too late now.

Is it because you had a good chat with the sick rat? Or, did you do anything besides chatting?

She didn't know how long it would take to have a normal chat... It was already late at night, and a night had passed. Why hadn't Blacka come back yet?

She stood up and slowly changed into her clothes.

Bai Ling stood in front of the mirror and looked at himself in the mirror.

After dressing up a little, she already showed the beauty that a girl of this age should have. She was very beautiful, but she just felt strange.

Is this you?

She asked herself this mentally, and then looked at her surroundings.

To be honest, this is a completely unfamiliar environment.

If Blacka hadn't introduced the things here, Bai Ling would have had no idea what kind of place this was - this was a house. She had never been to a house before, and she had always slept on rocks and the like.

And is this a place for humans to rest?

Bai Ling's heart sank a little bit.

She felt uneasy because she knew very well that she was not human. She might be a monster or a god. She could be as beautiful as an elf or as mysterious as a ghost.

But the only thing she won't be is human.

She silently bit her wrist, and bright red blood flowed from the wound - Bai Ling bit her very hard, and her skin was very flexible. Blacka even saw her break a dagger blade with her wrist.

The blood didn't drip everywhere. Before that, she glued it on with her hands. Then she drew it in the air. In just a few dozen seconds, an extremely complex red pattern appeared in the air.

The next moment, these red lines disappeared, and even the wounds disappeared.

Bai Ling's pupils turned blue, and strange lines were already entrenched on the top of his head and face.

The door closed and closed, and there was no one in the room.

As soon as Anthony closed the door, he saw the girl appearing in front of him. After a moment of silence, he silently pulled out the broad dagger from the shelf next to him.

He swung his dagger, the sharp weapon used to pierce armor, drawing arcs in the air.

After three consecutive metal collisions, he stumbled back and hit the door.

Both his arms were cut off, and the drawn dagger penetrated his body and nailed him to the door.

Anthony raised his head silently and looked at the dark red axe.

The one holding the ax was Bai Ling, and it was Blacka's axe. When she wielded this weapon, which was definitely not suitable for combat, it was as if it had been given life. After all his reactions were countered, both arms fell.

On the ground, black blood stained the wooden board.

"Why does a monster like you need protection?" Anthony said with a chuckle. His body had been penetrated by the dagger, and he started coughing loudly without even laughing twice.

"Where is Blacka?" Bai Ling said softly, while her body trembled slightly, she slowly raised the ax.

This shouldn't be the case. It stands to reason that she can find Blacka at any time... She has already eaten his flesh and blood, and his smell and any physical characteristics are within the range of her perception.

As long as he is alive, he will never be lost from his perception.

So, what if you die?

Unimaginable fear filled Bai Ling's heart. The only person she could rely on was Blacka. White Wolf entrusted herself to him... If he was not there, where would she go?

"Don't worry, he's still fine." Anthony was stunned for a moment, then smiled helplessly and said, "I assure you he's still fine, he's just a little troublesome."

His shoulder was severely chopped off, and the ax directly cut off half of his chest.

"What do you mean?" Bai Ling said softly, "I don't understand."

She said this and raised the ax again.

She really couldn't understand what they were saying, so she would take a beating for every word before he explained it to herself.

Maybe this will make what I say simpler.

...

So cold.

Blacka thought like this and slowly opened her eyes.

He only felt the strong wind and the scattered snowflakes in the sky.

The temperature here was already so low that it made his scalp numb. He just wanted to get up from the ground quickly.

He vaguely remembered being thrown from above by Anthony.

He opened his mouth and spat out a mouthful of warm blood.

This is the only warm thing in the cold.

Blacka wanted to get up, but found that his bones were broken - he was too high, and even his current body was almost broken.

Fortunately, I didn't sleep. I only had a broken leg bone and a lot of broken ribs.

But you can still live for a while.

Blacka thought like this and forced herself to get up.

But he couldn't do it. He simply felt pain, severe pain.

The blood around him began to melt, and his body temperature began to slowly rise.

Even the snow rose into steam, and in the middle of a snowstorm, Blacka evaporated the snow.

"Brother, you look so miserable."

Blacka heard the voice of someone speaking. He rolled his eyes and saw the guy wearing huge clothes squatting in front of him.

If the sick mouse's clothes looked baggy because they didn't fit him, then this guy's clothes were simply too thick.

No need to explain anything, Blacka was rescued again.

Probably when his head was almost thawed, that is, when he was able to think, Blacka discovered who the guy standing over there was.

It was a man, thin and tall, and his hair didn't seem to have been combed carefully. It was a little hard and fluffy, with ice on it.

It's really too cold here, so cold that people don't want to think. Even if there is a flame next to it, it's so cold that it makes people heartbroken.

"Let me introduce myself, I'm Sendi." He said, looking at Blacka and said: "Are you Blacka? I thought you were dead."

"Why do you know me?" Blacka said softly. He didn't dare to speak loudly, because if he spoke a little louder, he would spit out his internal organs.

"Me? Oh, you haven't seen me without armor." Sendy took out a helmet with the kingdom's logo from somewhere and put it on his head: "No, does this look impressive?"

Blacka shook her head.

It is understandable that when he came here, there were all tin cans like this, and he would not be able to remember the smell of each tin can.

Even if he could remember it, it would be useless, because this guy's body smelled like a corpse. He looked like a zombie buried in a grave.

"Forget it, forget it if you don't remember." He said softly: "Let me introduce this place a little bit. It is very close to the Ice Nail, so the temperature is very low. And there will be the ice storm you saw around the Ice Nail.

This ice storm has been given the concept of being lost, and any living creature will be completely lost in it. As long as it is rescued, there is no way to go back on its own."

He paused, looked into Blacka's eyes and said, "But now that I'm dead, I can somewhat discern the direction from being lost."

"died?"

"My soul is also lost in this ice storm, but it is still connected to my body. In other words, even if I die in this place, I will not have peace. My soul will always be wandering here." He said softly: "It's so damned.

Talk about a damned place."

As he said this, he dragged his head and said: "But it seems that after the punishment of the sick rat is over, this nail can be removed. By then, the creatures lost here can find their own peace."

"So does the sick rat want to kill me?" Blacka turned her head and looked at the ceiling and asked softly, not knowing who she was asking.

This is an ice storm where you will get lost as long as you live. Is there a gift for yourself in such a cruel place?

Blacka was completely unsure. She just felt that her original idea was absolutely right - how could the guide be something she could easily understand?

"Who? A sick rat? I don't know, that guy is actually pretty good to humans..." Sendi paused and said, "But welcome to Flow Rock."

Blacka was stunned. He looked at Sendi and saw him holding the torch high.

Only then did he notice that the surrounding rock walls were flowing.

To be precise, there is a layer of water attached to it. The water flows in strange directions, flowing continuously throughout the cave, as if it is alive.
To be continued...
