Chapter Nineteen: Heavy Rain 1(1/2)

Chapter 19

If you are a bit special compared to others, you may be called a genius.

But compared with people, this kind of specialness is quite excessive, so there is a high probability that he will be called a monster.

Blacka didn't understand why someone would be happy to be called a monster. Could it be because the word meant they were different from normal people?

Is it so satisfying to be different from normal people?

Blacka didn't know, didn't know. He was a bit stupid and couldn't understand such an obvious and simple thing.

He just felt that his mind was in a mess and he couldn't hear anything.

"Come on." Noah patted Blacka on the shoulder and handed him a baked sweet potato.

Strictly speaking, it is just something that looks like a sweet potato, and the name has not been determined yet. If I have to say it, it is called Guaiyu, which is a particularly thick root system that grows out of the black forest grass that is used as nutrients after it rots.

The description does not sound good, but in fact it tastes quite good after being roasted. It is regarded as a good ration, which is a blessing of the Black Forest to travelers.

Blacka was awakened by this shot. After hearing that he was called a monster, his head had been in a mess.

He couldn't remember what he did afterwards very clearly, or he just felt dizzy. Now he was sitting here, holding food in his hands, sitting side by side with Noah in the car transporting the body.

And the guy who looks like a god of death is not far away, and a lot of time has passed. This guy is not hungry, not tired, and not in a hurry. It seems like the god of death is always stuck to accept people, and there is no need to do it early.

, and it is impossible to be late.

Noah heard about the mission Blacka received, and he came to encourage this guy.

Logically speaking, it's very simple. He is a priest. Even if it is not from the perspective that he can be strengthened with holy magic, just reading the scriptures by himself is enough to make this guy feel that God is standing behind him.

But his judgment was wrong. The moment he saw Blacka, he realized that he didn't know what to say.

Perhaps all I can do is sit next to this child and let him know that he is not alone.

"Maybe I'll die." Blacka whispered, "I don't think we can deal with that thing."

Noah waited for a long time, and finally waited until the child spoke by himself.

"I think we have a good chance." Noah said: "We have a defense line of seven warriors, which uses swords. Our knights' armor is of high quality."

"Can't a knife cut through armor?" Blacka suddenly asked softly, and Noah was left speechless by the question.

Of course he couldn't answer anything, because they needed to use a knife to cut off the armor on the back of the pig-shaped neck.

If he says no, it means they can't deal with the monster no matter what. If he says yes, it means their time is exchanged for the lives of their teammates.

Blacka felt that his head was in a mess, he subconsciously scratched the side and held his axe.

Maybe it's really no problem, after all, he still has this axe, and this only thing is his last resort.

Maybe I shouldn't be so worried. In fact, it's very simple. It's just like chopping down a tree. Lift the ax and chop it down. It's just armor, and underneath the armor, the cervical spine is fragile.

"Don't worry, I'll be in front of you."

He suddenly heard the girl's voice and was stunned, looking up at Andy standing behind him.

This guy was only half-dressed, and his upper body was tied with bandages from his fracture to his chest.

The fragrant scene is supposed to be eye-catching, but coexisting with it is the red blood staining the bandage.

"It seems that Winnie has treated you very well." Noah said casually: "But I doubt whether you can still cut open that..."

He didn't continue because the knife was already at the end of his eyebrow.

"You can try." Andy said softly. She slowly retracted her left hand, raised it high, turned it around, and put it back into the scabbard.

He wasn't a dominant hand, nor was he proficient in knife skills, but Andy was still confident of cutting through its defense.

In other words, she has already realized it. Only she can do this, so she must be able to do it.

"Pretend I didn't say it." Noah stopped mocking and asked softly: "Then why did a good player like you get seriously injured by that guy?"

"He was very fast, and I noticed it too late." Andy said: "My attack had no effect, and it only took one success for me to lose the ability to move. Our combat power was very different.

Don't."

She said this and took a deep breath to calm down.

Andy's mentality was definitely not as calm as she showed, because she had actually been exposed to it.

But she smiled, looked at Blacka sitting there and said, "But don't worry, we will definitely be able to kill it next."

"Why are you so sure?" Blacka hesitated and asked softly.

"I'll tell you when we win." Andy said: "You have far more potential than me, but you don't seem to realize it."

...

The sun was about to sink into the horizon, and Piggy slowly stopped and looked at the sun in the distance.

The blood-red light brought the final brightness. It turned its head to look at the sky, slowly moved its neck, and made a crackling sound like bones from all over its body.

It looked up at the sky again. The weather today was not good because rain clouds had formed.

The weather in the Black Forest is very unstable, and it only takes a few minutes from sunny to rainy.

But if it's already raining and it's obvious that it hasn't rained yet, it's likely to be a downpour.

It's probably after midnight, and the sun can still be seen, so it doesn't mean it will rain soon.

That is also the time when the goblin's protection period ends.

"Hey, why are you here?"

Hearing the sudden sound, it was stunned, and then looked at the girl standing not far away.

That was Anzola, she was wearing a mask, but no hat. Her white hair swayed with the leaves.

"Is it from the undead?"

An extremely hoarse sound came from its throat, and it was barely distinguishable that it was human language.

Just after that, rumbles of thunder came from the sky. Still no raindrops were seen.

"Indeed." Anzola said: "Soldiers who serve the pig thieves, why do you want to be our enemy?"

"My enemies are only those humans." The monster's voice was hoarse, but you could tell that this guy was trying very hard to speak: "We have no intention of making enemies of the undead."

"This is my team, I am taking them to find the undead." Anzola said: "Since you have no intention of being an enemy of the undead, why are you chasing us?"

"Your logic is very strange, I don't understand it." The pig type replied: "I am just an enemy of them. You, I will not take the initiative to attack. So, please don't interfere."

It said this, and then slowly took out the machete and a pair of captured blades from behind. There were weapons in all four limbs.

Tonight is the time when the goblin's protection expires. It has been exposed, so we plan to break through head-on.

And Anzola looked at it, not talking, but silently watching it pass by him.

She sighed deeply and stood where she was.

The guide could not intervene in this battle, and the final negotiation was still ineffective, so she could only watch from the sidelines.

"Have some confidence in your friends." The goblin's voice suddenly came: "Those guys would rather kill themselves than let me continue to protect them. This really makes me sad."

Anzola didn't want to talk to this guy. The reputation of goblins in the black forest was really not good.

This guy eats both ends, nominally siding with the Black Forest, but in fact he has always been tolerant of human issues.

The goblin didn't seem to be here to talk, so she just sat on the stone and looked at Anzola.

It clapped its hands, and the ground suddenly began to twist. Wood grew from the ground, forming a cozy wooden house in the open space.

Anzola and it are both here.

"I'm tired today. If I have any work, I'll leave it to my clone." The goblin said, "It will rain heavily after that, and it won't be easy for you to go there. You might as well drink tea with me here."

As she said this, she clapped her hands and lit a flame in the fireplace in the corner. The torches on the wall were lit one after another, illuminating the small house.

"I based this house on the buildings in the village. It's an exterior building. I picked a pretty good house." The goblin supported his head and said, "There is a place to bathe and a place to sleep. It rains.

You can rest here afterwards. When you finish working there, I will take you to find those people."

"Thank you." Anzola bowed slightly without being polite and sat on the chair silently.

There is no reason to refuse the goblin's invitation. It roughly knows this guardian. She likes gifts, whether they are given by others or given to others by herself. No matter which kind they are, she does not want to refuse them.

In other words, if you leave this place immediately, it will anger her.

In this way, the goblin is indeed happier.

"Do you have anything you like to eat?" the goblin asked, "I can try to prepare the ingredients. But I'm sorry, I'm not very good at cooking. If it's something like fruit, I can prepare it more easily."

"Just apples."

"Apples are really good things." The goblin said this, tapping the table with his fingers, and a wooden basket appeared on it, filled with apples: "By the way, are you interested in playing games with the goblin?"

"What?"

"Guess how long those guys can survive." The goblin said: "Don't be nervous, there will be no punishment if you are wrong. If you guess correctly, I will give you a gift."

"I have no idea."

"At least tell me casually, what if I can guess it right?" The goblin paused and said, "Oh, it started to rain."
