Chapter 21 I'll Think More(3/5)

Pan Yunxi: "You... aren't you okay today?"

Jiang Chenyu: "Something's wrong."

The phone was silent for a while. Jiang Chenyu glanced at the display that the call was still on and said, "I'll hang up first."

"Ayu." There was a call from the other side. After a moment of silence, he said, "Do you feel that you have changed a lot recently? I feel that you are so strange now. You were not like this before."

Jiang Chenyu paused.

These words seemed familiar, as if I had heard them somewhere.

He thought about it and remembered that Qin Rui had said similar words to Zhan Jin.

What did Zhan Jin say at that time?

"It's because you don't understand me well enough," he said.

-

The curtains in the bedroom were tightly drawn, the quilt on the bed was arched, the mobile phone on the bedside was buzzing and vibrating, and a hand with distinct joints stretched out from the quilt, looking sickly in the dim light.

Zhan Jin touched his cell phone. Qin Rui sent him a message early this morning saying that he was coming to see him. He just replied to his message, but he didn't expect the call to come.

"I'm outside your door." The person on the other end of the phone lowered his voice.

"Come on, can you get up?" He put the phone to his ear and chuckled. His voice was low and hoarse due to fever. "You have a fever, so you won't accept guests. Come back."

"Yes, it's me!" Jiang Chenyu stuttered on the other end of the phone.

Zhan Jin paused and opened his eyes, "Wait a moment."

He turned over and got up from the bed, remembering that he had sweated all over while sleeping last night. He turned on the speakerphone and threw the phone on the bed. He grabbed his clothes with one hand and got rid of it. He took out a T-shirt from the closet and put it on.

During this period, the phone kept silent.

Zhan Jin picked up the phone and pulled off his clothes, "Are you still here?"

"Here." The other end responded, "I'm here."

"I'm coming out now."

Zhan Jin thought that what Jiang Chenyu said was outside his house, downstairs. Unexpectedly, as soon as he opened the living room door, the people outside broke into his field of vision.

The boy was tall, slim and slender. He was wearing a black T-shirt. His neat broken hair fell between his cold brows. The moment the door opened, he raised his eyes.

"What is this?" Zhan Jin put down his phone with a chuckle, "Are you surprised?"

Another meaning of this is that his arrival is a surprise.

Jiang Chenyu, who had never been a "surprise" before, reacted for two or three seconds before looking into Xi Jin's eyes, which were as gentle as spring water.

Xu Shi just woke up, Zhan Jin's hair was messy, his eyes were sleepy, and there was a thin layer of red at the end of his eyes, adding a touch of amorous seduction, and his eyes seemed to have hooks when looking at people.

"Do you think...it counts?" His answer was also subtle.

Zhan Jin: "It's up to you."

Jiang Chenyu's heart started beating wildly as if he was ill.

Zhan Jin asked Jiang Chenyu to come in and got him a pair of slippers. When he bent down, he saw him carrying a backpack and holding a piece of ginger in his hand, "Did you buy them?"

Jiang Chen said no, "The aunt who lives next door to you gave it to me and said it can be used to make ginger soup. Do you have a pot at home?"

"Give me the ginger," Zhan Jin said.

"You should rest." Jiang Chen said, "You haven't had breakfast yet."

"Are you here to make breakfast for me?" Zhan Jin's words lingered on the tip of his tongue, "I'm interested, tablemate."

Zhan Jin hasn't eaten much in the past two days, and his body really doesn't have much energy. He has a lazy breath all over his body, and his tone of voice is even more lame. However, Jiang Chenyu doesn't jump like he did before when he stepped on a cat's tail.

"So you're a sick person," he said, "just lie down."

Jiang Chenyu entered the kitchen. He had made ginger soup and probably knew how to make it, but Zhan Jin hadn't had breakfast yet, so a bowl of ginger soup would definitely not be enough.

Can I drink ginger soup on an empty stomach? He took out his mobile phone to search for what he should eat when he had a fever. He walked to the refrigerator and looked at the existing inventory at Zhan Jin's house.

Zhan Jin usually cooks, and all the utensils in the kitchen have signs of use, and half of the seasoning bottles are used. Jiang Chen rummaged through the cabinets and found rice, which he washed and made porridge.

Zhan Jin said he was surprised.

laugh.

It's just a case of checking for a disease, it's rare and strange.

Jiang Chenyu raised his head and hit the cabinet with a bang.

Zhan Jin didn't go back to his room to sleep. He went to the bathroom to wash up and splashed two handfuls of water on his face, which made him sober. Jiang Chenyu came and suddenly appeared at his door, just like last time.

This man can always do something unexpected.

One of them was in the kitchen and the other in the bathroom, with different moods.

Zhan Jin packed up and came out of the bathroom.

Porridge was cooked in the kitchen, but Jiang Chenyu was not there. A few minutes later, the doorbell rang. Jiang Chenyu went out, bought something and came back to make ginger soup.

While he was making ginger soup, Zhan Jin leaned against the door of the kitchen and watched. Jiang Chenyu saw that he was unmotivated, so he asked him to lie down, and took a thermometer to measure Zhan Jin's temperature. He was thorough and looked like Zhan Jin.

He looks like he can't take care of himself in life.

Zhan Jin half pushed and lay down on the bed, watching the industrious little bee busying himself.

"Do you need to wash these clothes?" Jiang Chenyu picked up the clothes that Zhan Jin had changed out of before going out. They were wrinkled.

"Don't worry about it, just leave it there." Zhan Jin said, tilting his head and coughing twice. Jiang Chenyu poured a glass of warm water over and handed it to Zhan Jin.

Zhan Jin raised his upper body, leaned forward and lowered his head. He sipped the rim of the glass and took the glass in his hand. His fingertips followed Jiang Chenyu's, across the back of his hand, inch by inch, and held his wrist.

, and drank water from his hand.

The curtains in the room are thick to block the light, the light in the room is dim, the slender neck is raised, the rolling outline of the Adam's apple is vague, the vision is weakened, resulting in the sharper sense of touch and hearing.

The sound of Zhan Jin swallowing, the breath spraying on his knuckles, the hand holding his, and the pad of his thumb stroking his wrist back and forth were all clear. When Jiang Chen couldn't hold his hand steady, he trembled and fell down.

It was so fast that it overflowed from Zhan Jin's lips.

With a "bang" sound, the water cup was placed on the bedside table. Jiang Chenyu hurriedly took out a few pieces of paper, pressed it to Zhan Jin's lips, wiped his neck to prevent his clothes from getting wet, and subconsciously pulled the collar of his clothes.

I picked it up and rubbed it a few times, but I felt something was wrong.

What did he pull?

Ah...Zhan Jin's clothes.

He lowered his head.

The chest is flat and muscular unlike women.

"I knew you didn't have a good idea." Zhan Jin said slowly.

Jiang Chenyu: "..."

"I, I didn't mean it." He stuttered several times.

"Oh." Zhan Jin said, "I don't believe it."

Jiang Chenyu: "..."

Before Jiang Chenyu's hand left Zhan Jin's shoulder, he pressed it down with his other hand. The wiping paper slipped from his palm and floated to the fluffy and soft quilt. The only barrier fell and skin touched.

The pulse in Zhan Jin's neck was beating. Due to the fever, his skin was very hot, and his breathing was also hot. He sighed and exhaled, "Your hands are a little cold, it's quite comfortable."

Jiang Chen's body was stiff and his hands felt hot.

"I'm so hot." Zhan Jin pressed his hand and moved it near the thermometer, "Is it almost done?"

What's almost done?

Jiang Chenyu was confused and moved his fingers reflexively. The dim environment covered up the red color on his face, "You...!"

"Huh? Not yet?"

"I'm not a pervert."

In the darkness, Zhan Jin looked at his shining eyes and curled his lips.

"I mean, the thermometer is almost there. Can you take it out?" Zhan Jin said with a smile, "What are you thinking about, Ayu."

Jiang Chenyu: "..."

After taking out the thermometer, the light in the room was too dark to see clearly, so Zhan Jin reached out to turn on the light.

"I'm going to take a look at the porridge in the kitchen." Jiang Chenyu rushed out of the door.

He walked around the living room twice to see the ginger soup and porridge being cooked. His face was expressionless, but it was very red, so red that it looked more like he was sick than Zhan Jin.

He stared blankly at the tumbling ginger soup.

*

Zhan Jin knew that with Jiang Chenyu's personality, he would not be comfortable in the same room with him. He was like a firecracker that would explode when touched. He counted the time until the porridge was almost ready before he opened the door and walked out.

Jiang Chen didn't see anything strange when he met him, so he asked him to drink porridge and take medicine.
