Chapter 74: Do Immortals Need Culture?
Do you need to read or not by practicing immortality?
Zhao Xiaobai suddenly raised this question, which immediately aroused the interest of many people.
Everyone in the hall suddenly spoke in a word and answered one after another, some answered “Hongmeng Universe”, some answered “Chaos of Heaven and Earth”, and some answered “The Heart of a Saint”…
The monks’ answer is: Buddha’s heart. Buddha is kind and has all kinds of virtue.
high!
The answer of Taoists is: Tao, or simply: the gate of Xuanpin. Tao is the ultimate principle of heaven and earth, and it inspires people to explore, and there will never be any end.
As for the "Gate of Mysterious Pin", it is a metaphor of the ancestor of Tao, which is nothing more than the beginning of Tao: Tao is the origin of all things, and Tao produces all things.
wonderful!
Even His Majesty the Emperor, His Highness the Crown Prince, as well as the princess, concubines of the palace, princes and ministers, envoys from other countries, and celebrities in the world all gave their own answers.
The answers of the princes and ministers are quite the same, roughly: the heart of the emperor. For them, the "heart of the emperor" is the most unfathomable and the most terrifying. They have been working hard to guess the heart of the emperor all their lives, and they cannot sleep or eat.
His Majesty the Emperor's answer is: the world and people's livelihood.
His Royal Highness’s answer is: the hearts of heaven, earth and the people.
The answers of the two princes are different, both are: country and country.
Each has a clear view of his own mentality.
Among the concubines in the palace, someone actually gave this answer: eyelids!
This is an epoch-making answer, cunning and wise, rare. Well, cultured!
Zhao Xiaobai was a little surprised: There are so many people who are infinitely close to the standard answer? In this era, that is amazing! Human wisdom is really like the sea water that cannot be measured.
But why in such an era, people's understanding of the Hongmeng Universe is still the same as the sky is round and the sky has nine levels and the earth has nine layers?
Throughout history, have there been so many powerful cultivators and former priests, and no one has truly traveled to the interstellar world, seeing or touching the truth of the universe?
Does this incomplete understanding of the universe affect or limit their respective avenues?
Hehe, if this is the case, then wouldn’t what I practiced as a false path?
Also, practicing the great way is like doing knowledge.
Are there really those lucky people who don’t know a big word, just by smacking the pie from the sky just hitting their heads, and get an ancient secret book or some supreme mental method, sweep across Liuhe, Hongmeng is invincible?
Is this possible? Can he understand the meaning? Is reading really useless? Doesn’t it require culture to cultivate immortality?
If you have the right opportunity, you have to make a good deal of these questions.
...
When everyone looked at him together, he walked out of the distant thoughts and replied with a smile: "Yes, many people have mentioned it just now."
"My answer is that people's hearts are the greatest!"
There was a constant "oh" sound in the hall, some people showed confusion, some people nodded frequently as if they were enlightened, and some people sighed long...
Zhao Xiaobai continued: "Why do you say that? Think about it, Hongmeng Chaos is so big that it is the biggest, right?
But as long as our eyes can see, or even as long as our minds can imagine, no matter how far the sun, moon, stars are, no matter how big the chaos of the world is, we can keep it in our hearts. How big should this person's heart be?"
"What else can be bigger than it?"
There were even more people in the hall who showed a knowing look. Those with broad minds could even accommodate the Hongmeng Universe!
Zhao Xiaobai changed the topic and said, "But if someone asks me, what is the smallest one in this universe?"
"My answer is the same: human heart!"
He did not ask someone to answer this time, but directly said the answer. This answer immediately surprised many people and their faces were confused.
He smiled faintly and said with a slightly teasing tone:
"As we all know, many times, some so-called broad-minded humans can't hold grudges in their hearts. They can't just say something small, hehe, it's better not to mention it."
This is reasonable! Many people immediately grinned and laughed "hehehehe".
The Imperial College Priest Jiji shook his head below and said, "What can I say about this? I'm so ugly!"
Then he swayed and said word by word: "It is the so-called "A man's anger will make blood splash five steps; a powerful man will make blood flow; a king will make blood change; a king will make a country change; a fairy will make a fuss overturn the rivers and seas!"
Someone immediately echoed: "There are more, hehe, the lady is angry, and she is so sad, haha..."
The hall suddenly burst into laughter, and some people even choked in their throats in one breath, and couldn't help laughing out the donkey!
After the various emotions in the hall calmed down, Zhao Xiaobai said earnestly: "Since human hearts are so complicated, even if the Buddha uses the wisdom of a saint, how can he understand them one by one?"
"Since Buddha is something deep in the heart, what exactly is Buddha? How can there be an answer that will last forever?"
The whole palace was silent, and many people nodded gently to show their praise.
Zhao Xiaobai was now on the golden hook, and returned to the question itself again, saying: "Buddha's Day: All sentient beings are Buddhas! This is a slogan for Buddhist disciples and believers to encourage themselves, and it can be said to be a one-man word."
"If you keep the door closed, talk to yourself and don't impose it on others, naturally no one will blame you."
"But now, in Qingming, several religions are established together, each with countless supporters and thousands of believers. If you say such words in front of everyone, especially on an occasion like today, it would be a big talk, and you don't know the importance of it, and you can say that your heart is devastated!"
"If someone in Wen Sheng's lineage, or my Taoist disciple, does not argue right or wrong and says such words, it is actually equivalent to comparing himself to a Buddhist believer, which can be regarded as a sacred ancestor of the sect and a scum of this sect!"
"For example, if someone asks 'What is Tao,' I answer: All sentient beings are Tao, do you recognize them? Did the Buddha and the saints of each religion recognize them?"
"If I extend it, I will directly say that the answer is: I am the Tao! Hehe. How crazy is this!"
"This does not mean that I represent the ultimate truth of heaven and earth, the true knowledge of the world, and the laws of nature?"
"Where does this say place the sages of all living beings in the world?"
"How can there be such a madman in the world who dares to speak such deceitful words?"
Talk about several words and reveals the essence of the matter, especially the last metaphor, which is already accusing Wudu and directly criticizing him for the answer, which is actually equivalent to saying "he is a Buddha", which seems particularly arrogant and ignorant!
Wudu originally wanted to defend himself because he knew that the Buddhist scriptures say, "The Buddha is originally without form, but is the appearance of sentient beings", so all sentient beings are Buddhas.
But how can you say this?
What is the difference between the words "being the appearance of sentient beings" and "sentient beings are all Buddhas"?
If you say this, wouldn’t you be scolded again?
At this moment, he couldn't help but be shocked and confused: the so-called sentient beings are naturally all the people and all living beings in the world. But as this Taoist Bai said, the religion in the world is not just a Buddhist!
"The Buddha is originally without form, but is the appearance of sentient beings." Isn't that saying that even the saints of the world, such as the literary saints and the demon saints, possess the appearance of Buddha?
Even so, what can he do if he doesn’t admit it? He passes on his teachings. How can he admit it if you pass on your teachings?
Since Buddhism has the appearance of Buddha, then Taoism has the appearance of great Taoism, real people, Confucianism has the appearance of wise people, and how can one of the Buddhas cover everything?
The Buddha of the gods.
People in the world can believe in Buddhism and Taoism; even if they can believe in Confucianism or believe in nothing, how can they force all living beings to speak of according to the words of my Buddhist family?
Alas~~ I have since lost the Buddha’s heart and it is difficult to learn Buddhism!
